I also stayed at the…read moremotel down the road the last time I was in this area and I was deeply traumatized (still am!), so I was really looking forward to my stay here to see whether the reviews were right. I was ECSTATIC that it was SUPER DUPER clean and the reviews were right! The looks of this place looks a little questionable at first esp when we got there, their main parking lot was blocked off. I found out they were resurfacing/resealing it and that was why it was blocked off. But do not fret, this place is super safe and clean despite being a little in feom the main road by 93. The lady who checked me in was friendly and very sweet. Once I entered our room, I was SO HAPPY to see it was spotlessly clean! The towels they use were fluffy and did not smell moldy or musty. They were fresh and thick! Everything was clean, even the AC unit, which unlike other places did not smell old or musty at all. I am telling you, this place was/is SUPER clean and all the reviews raving about this place weren't lying, they were definitely justified and this place fully deserved it! The shower pressure can be improved cuz it was very weak but since it was clean, this is very minor. The room are keyed entry locks which is very modern. Ours was a little finicky but once we figured it out, it was no big deal. The bed was VERY comfortable. We slept so well and was so happy we found a lodging gem in Wells, NV! This hotel can be booked directly on their own web site, so try that instead of going through a 3rd party platform. (I will do that the next time if I go through here again). If you want super friendly, down to earth staff and super duper clean room in Wells, look no further and don't even hesitate, BOOK HERE!!

A room for a single person was only ~$45, so it's by the cheapest option in town by $15-20 or so. Important: 1) Cash only. No cards. 2) Office closes 9-10pm, give or take. They wouldn't stay up until 11:30pm so that I could check in on my first night in town, so I had to stay elsewhere that night.

I only booked here because everywhere else was booked. The place is sketchy with guys hanging out outside their rooms when I got there. Not going into details of their appearances, so it is not profiling but they were just hanging out by their rooms and were just STARING at me when I was unloading my car. Made me feel very uneasy. I know this is not within the motel's control but it was not a good feeling for me. The room seems okay but when we settled in, I noticed how the sheets were not changed as there were hair on the sheets! I ended up sleeping on top of the sheets and praying I wouldn't get bedbugs. They were probably renovating the room cuz the sink seems new and when I went to take a shower, the whole shower knob just came loose! Looks like someone didn't install that completely then cuz it just came out as I was turning the knob. Not only that, the hardware seems to be missing something cuz there was no way to pull anything to get the shower head to have water from the spout below. On top of that, the hot and cold were on the opposite side and not much of the hot water was coming out so I ended up taking a semi cold shower. The towels were thin and smells musty. The curtains were stained with caulk and I found a piece of french fry on the floor by the bed. I mentioned all of this when I checked out but not sure if they cared to make any changes. Anyhow, do not stay here. Not recommended. It was the worse Super 8 I have ever stayed at.
