Much like everyone else, we stopped here on our long distance drive. This seemed to be the nicest hotel in the small town of wells, and I was happy with our stay. The hotel felt newer, clean, had a comfortable bed and amenities, nice gym, and good free breakfast. A couple minor inconveniences: while very much a first world problem, several times during the stay the coffee station was empty and a lot of people seemed annoyed to have to wait. People had to ask the lady working the breakfast area to restock some items, but she did so quickly and it wasn't really an issue. I would stay here again if passing through. read more

The room was nice and clean and I do appreciate that, however, the front desk clerk and reservation desk were unhelpful and rude. I called to inquire about having food delivered and was told by one staff member that DoorDash delivers here, she even gave me their number. So I ordered from DoorDash for delivery and the order never came. I called the merchant and was told they do not deliver and never have. the merchant, DoorDash, and the hotel staff proceeded to educate me on how they do not deliver like i should have just known that after telling me they did and letting me order for delivery then making me wait 2 hours only to find out THEY DON'T DELIVER read more

This is the first hotel in our possibly 49+ years of travel that has a well lit hallway which is actually cheery and pleasant. Even the room had good lighting. Another first was walking into our room and finding a personal welcome message on the TV screen. The entrance off the highway is a challenge and quite unique, so be alert. read more

Came to wells for my dad's spike elk tag and the axle on our trailer broke so we had to find a way to fix it. Breakfast was good and they had hot chocolate but the morning I woke up I had red bumps on my arm and brushed it off but the next morning I woke up with about 50 bumps and found out they were bed bug bites and this is why I'm leaving a two star review. Would have left one but breakfast was good. read more

As a person in customer service, I have to say that the lady at the check in desk (I think her name is Nancy) was amazing! We came in at 12:30 am and she greeted us with a smile, had an amazing personality and even had our room key ready. She is someone I would definitely hire for my business!! Our room was cleaner and had more amenities than the hotel we stayed at in Laughlin. Breakfast was great and had many choices. Even though our stay was only 6 hours, I would definitely stay here again. Oh, and Nancy was still at the front desk with a big smile and happy personality at 6:30 am!! read more

It was clean and basic. Seems like a newer hotel. The staff were super friendly and let us check in early. It was also quiet at night, which is my biggest criteria for a hotel to meet. There is a tiny bit of truck noise given that it's across the street from a truck stop. The beds could've been a little softer, but they weren't the worst. Extremely disappointed as we booked for the pool and spa ....only to find out the pool heater was broken and there is NO spa. No shower to rinse off in pool area before or after a swim. The hot water to make tea in the hospitality area was cold. The room temperature was set too high and took a bit to cool down. There was a wait to check in due to some issue.So we were checking in literally from 4 to 5pm. It took over an hour. The staff was very nice and pleasant. Everything is clean. Clean accommodations, cold AC, nice large tv for decompressing after a long drive. The nicest place in Wells and *expensive* for the location, my last choice but on this night my only option. Not walkable to any restaurants so you get back in the car. Truck generator and freeway noise all night long if your room faces north so ask for a south-facing room if you can. read more

We were weary from a long day of driving from California across Nevada on our way to Utah and we were met with exceptional courtesy and kindness by Drew who made sure all our needs were met. We decided that we couldn't make the full ride to Idaho from California all at once and last minute decided to look for a hotel to crash for the night. My fiancé called this hotel on the road and Christian answered and was very kind and accommodating. We arrived and were greeted by Christian at the front desk. He gave us a great deal on an amazing suite! The room was really awesome! Very big! It would be ideal for someone traveling doing business as there is a nice desk you can use your laptop on. The flatscreen TV is HUGE and had my name displayed on it upon arrival. Just a really lovely hotel that I highly recommend and will absolutely be staying at again. It's not usual to get a "Wow" from me when I enter a hotel suite! But "Wow"! After a long day of driving we pulled into this Hampton Suite which is almost brand new! I had excellent help from the gentleman at the front desk! He found the perfect room to suit my needs!!! King bed, with an excellent mattress and nice linens, huge bathroom and handicap accessible, a suite with a fridge, microwave, coffee pot, extra hideabed if you needed it, desk and a Huge TV with tons of channels. The fitness room is amazing and I peeked at the pool and was sad I didn't bring a suit! I was also greeted with a fresh cookie and fruit! We travel this way often and will definitely be back! read more

This was our first time staying in Wells instead of Ely. Beautiful hotel. The night guy was ehhh but the morning girl was a delight. So kind. But the rooms were beautiful but OMG they need to go through and check all the beds. I went to lay down and the whole bed moved. Bolts came flying and I refused to sleep on the bed. Husband went down stairs to let them know, they gave him keys to the room across the hall and those beds were the same. So we stayed in the first room and my husband slept in the broken bed with one of our babies while I slept in the other with the other baby. The breakfast though was great. Cereal, fruit, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, potatoes, bagels, toast, and a couple different waffle flavors and more toppings than I've seen at any other hotels. Juices and 2% milk with the cereals. Did have a sign about food restrictions if needed. read more

This place was great! Cheaper than our last hotel room, but with nicer, cleaner amenities. Seems like it may have been recently updated/renovated. During Covid: all staff were wearing masks, as were most guests. Front desk is behind clear plastic. Hand sanitizer machines were everywhere. The remote control was sanitized and inside a bag with an extra hand sanitizing wipe. Doors had stickers (see pic after we opened door) that showed you room had been cleaned with Lysol and nobody had entered since. read more

I guess being a Hilton diamond means the staff can treat you like garbage upon check in. Not okay. I expect more from someone working in "hospitality" But instead I get some condescending millennial who tells me "you don't have to be so rude" when I tell him I moved because my address from my ID was different from what they had on file...After driving solo for 740 miles, 11 hours straight, it's not ideal to check into your hotel room and have someone have such a poor attitude towards you. The worst part of all, if he thought that was rude, he clearly doesn't know me! Such a sharp contrast from the first time I stayed here. The only difference was the front desk person and I wasn't Diamond status then....interesting. read more

I am a Hilton member. However I just paid 165 bucks for a room with a promise of a full breakfast. But I arrived at breakfast there was sliced up tiny sausages and potatoes. Right behind it was a huge sign that said eggs! I asked the attendant where the eggs were and all she said was nope we don't have any sorry. By the way it took a while for me to even find an attendant they weren't at the front desk or in the kitchen, probably hiding somewhere with the eggs. read more

I'm sure this hotel is nice, but it was overbooked and my room was cancelled. I made it to Ely, called the hotel in Wells and asked if it was ok if we checked in at 1am and they said they overbooked and wouldn't have a room for us. I understand these things happen that isn't at fault of the workers there, but they didnt even call or email us to let us know. If I wouldn't have called, we would've arrived at 1am with no room and all other hotels in Wells were booked up. So we wouldn't have had anywhere to go. There was 1 hotel in Ely with a room so luckily I called ahead. Horrible service just for not calling/emailing to let us know that they wouldn't have a room for us. read more

Easy on and off route 80. Easy check in. Nice, clean room. Unable to get connecting rooms. We had a nice view of the mountains from our back of hotel room. Gas and fast food near by. Breakfast room nice and nice selection to choose from. They even had real eggs and sausage not the microwave stuff in little plastic bags. My sister and I met here for her 65th birthday as she is in Boise and I am in Las Vegas. Without a doubt this was a perfect experience, from check in to check out. Brand new hotel only opened 1 month prior to our arrival. Staff are amazing and a special thank you to "Hayden" at the front desk. He was professional and so very kind and friendly made us feel so welcome.. This will be a meeting spot for any time we are heading that way. This is an interesting hotel. It may appear to be an unusual "out there" place to stay, but it is actually a very good hotel. The front desk staff was extremely courteous and quickly assigned us a room. Stable internet, a comfortable bed, and a very nice television. Overall, a good place to stay. One possible source of concern for me is the disorder in our room. When you first walk in, the room smells like dirty socks. Or a sweaty odor. Slightly concerning, but I couldn't care less about the odor; a few quick sprays here and there, and the room smells better. I would strongly recommend this location to anyone in need of a good rest stop. I'd give it a higher rating, but the smell knocks it down a notch. The ice machine is functional, and they also accept pets. The breakfast isn't bad at all either, I personally enjoyed it. To the future people who stay here, I do wish you enjoy your stay! read more
