I love this place! We've been coming here for years with our whole family--toddlers to teenagers. You can't beat the prices and the large portions. Is it the best chinese food you'll ever have? No, but for the price it is just so darn tasty. My kids must have the wontons ($3 for 10!), the egg drop soup, although I prefer the hot and sour, and the orange beef. It's family run and that's good and bad--they have a corner for their kids toys--a mini day care if you will. And some of the staff, not the owners, look sloppy in their thin stained t-shirts. I really don't get why the owners don't set some kind of minimum dress code! But we go for the food, not the crazy sun-bleached booths or the annoying TV which always has on soccer. read more

O stars ordered $ 40.00 of food called asked where the soy sauce was they blamed me for not asking for it. Really who has ever gone to a Chinese place and not used soy sauce. So I called back and asked that question and got hung up on. Great. Customer service.. It was amazing. So I will say food was good. My wife and I have been curious about this place ever since we moved so we decided to try it out one day because I love Chinese food. We went around 4 p.m. and there was no one else in the restaurant. We were seated quickly, got drinks in a flash and was able to order very fats. We got the $19 China Combo dinner for two. We were served surprisingly fast. The dinner included 2 small egg rolls and 2 fried jumbo shrimp with a sweet and sour dipping sauce. Also, we each got a bowl of egg drop soup which was WAY too hot for consumption. Even when we were finished, they were still piping hot. Then for the entree, we had ham fried rice, orange chicken and broccoli beef. All were okay but I have had better orange chicken. All of the food was just a little bland and needed some kind of spice to liven it up. When we were finished, the hostesses were busy talking and we just wanted to get out of there. We asked for our check, paid and left a good tip becasue it looks like they are struggling. Ambiance 2/5: It looked a little disjointed and there was pop music over the radio. Would have like something else. Also, the dining room was a little stuffy. Cleanliness 2/5: The dining room was not bad but the restrooms were small, trashy and not upkeep-ed. There was a fly that bugged us all dinner. Food 3/5: Not too bad but I have had better. Value 2/5: Not good enough for $10 a plate. Service 3/5: Very fast service, but maybe that was just because we were their only customers at the time. Also, it was not very professional to see all of their employees laying around while we were eating. But the waitresses were friendly and conversational. Overall 2/5 stars: This place needs some work. If they were to clean and fix up a bit, paint the outside of the store and maybe get a fish tank with some fisheys in it, this place would be more popular. I loved this spot when I lived in Provo. It's been around forever and was recommended to me by a local roommate of mine. I loved its dingy authenticity and the fact that our "waiter" appeared to be no more than 12 years old. (That's cool - atta way to keep it in the family.) Great Chinese food, huge portions. I just ordered food from this place.....WTF did I just order? The food was bland and what the FUCK was the so call wontons.....or egg rolls...someone answer that for me..oh don't let me forget the instant rice..got my food after about an hour of waiting..then they forgot my sesame chicken. The one thing I wanted....so i waited another hour. Finally they showed up with my food after waiting another hour of waiting. I wish it allowed me to rate this awful restaurant a 0. It was the worst food I have ever attempted to eat in my life. I was starving and I couldn't eat it. For delivery, I ordered L10. Mongolian Beef with fried rice, egg drop soup and a cheese cake. The order quickly arrived in 20 minutes instead of the estimated 45 min. Great. Except my mongolian beef was about 85% onions. Should be called mongolian onion. So my order was about 18 bucks, not including tip for essentially stir fried onions, mediocre fried rice, eggroll and frozen solid cheesecake. Do not recommend at all. read more

I don't know why everyone is so critical of this place, I think it's pretty good. It's not the best Chinese food I've ever had but it's pretty tasty, the prices are great, and the delivery is fast. I can't speak for the interior of the restaurant as I have never been in, but I've ordered delivery several times and was much happier with it than say, if I went to Panda Express. Great website. Nice delivery driver. Was happy to find a delivery place in Provo while staying here from out of town. Ordered shrimp with walnuts, abt $13. It looked like battered frozen shrimp with 10 walnut halves on it. Not impressive but the sauce was decent. Ordered shrimp lo mein. Had 4 shrimp in the entire order. Absolutely no flavor at all and maybe 1/8 cup of any sort of vegetable so really it was like an order of completely flavorless spaghetti noodles. Ordered a Pepsi that delivered in a styrofoam soup bowl without a straw. No napkins delivered ,no soy sauce. Ham fried rice also had no flavor. For a $32 order, the only thing I could eat was the walnut shrimp, couldn't eat the lo mein or rice or drink the Pepsi in a bowl. read more

Here's what I ordered: Orange Beef: Overall the texture was great, but there was way too much sugar. They said I could ask for a less sweet version next time. I did not like the dish overall... Chicken Fried Rice: This was very average, not great, not horrible either. I noticed these guys added money to my credit card--after I had already given them a very good tip in cash (over 20%). A one star review seems a little too high for what I'd give. If there were a negative rating it'd be pretty far left on that scale. I'd imagine that you're wondering what could make a restaurant so bad. Was it the service? Was it the food? Was it the cleanliness? That's just the tip of the iceberg. The food comes out way to quick to be fresh. The restaurant is very dirty. Walking to the men's room, you pass through the kitchen and that made my stomach turn. It is so disgusting. The food had hair in it and plastic. They offered to take half off just the dish itself. Not too concerned. I don't know how the health inspector has not shut this place down. Mind boggling. I have gone here for years for their $5-$6 lunch specials which include soup, eggroll/wanton, rice, and your main dish. The hot and sour soup is great. They also take special requests for their lunch specials. Try the eggplant in garlic sauce, the tofu in garlic sauce, or the schezwan string beans (with chicken if you eat meat). They also have a very good beef noodle soup with homemade noodles and fresh cilantro. For those who want authentic Chinese, ask for their special Chinese menu. read more

Food was lacking in flavor big time. We ordered two of the same thing they put it all in one box and I can't help but feel a bit cheated. However, the delivery was fast and the price was decent. The person who took my order didn't tell me my total or a delivery time. When the driver showed up he claimed he didn't have change for a $50. Claimed he didn't have any cash on him at all so he got an undeserved $20 tip. I'm not the kind of person to not tip someone. He would have gotten a very decent tip but not that big. read more
