Four Seasons was the spot that we choose for dinner. They are a family run hot pot restaurant in the Provo area. They have four basic soup broths for your choosing, chicken, miso, pork bone and traditional Chinese hot and spicy. They have your usual proteins of beef, pork, chicken, fish, fishballs, meatballs, vegetables and noodles. Drinks were included in the price for dinner. They had a variety of ice cream bars for desserts. The family running this place seemed to be really nice people. They were happy to hear my broken mandarin. Anytime I needed something, they would provide it to me. There is a potential of cross contamination of the foods here. But, since this is Chinese hotpot, you will be fine if you cook everything to well done. Four Season was a good find for me in Provo. I wasn't expecting to find a hot pot restaurant in this city. I found multiple black hairs and sharp plastic in my food. Really unfortunate since I wanted to give this local business a chance. The atmosphere of the place was nice, along with being attended quickly by one man running the restaurant. I did a mobile pick up order, waited a bit which was no big deal. But this man should've spotted the hairs and absolutely the plastic. Intentional? Overworked and overlooked it? Who knows. I don't recommend this place. We came here at around 8pm on a Wednesday night. Was actually shocked that it was pretty full and there were many more people coming as well. We got seated pretty fast (table for 5) and ended up asking to do the unlimited hot pot eat all you can eat. We chose spicy and miso broth for our hot pot broth which took about 10 minutes for them make and put on our table. During the time while we were waiting for our food, we went ahead and grabbed the food for our soup at the little section they had towards the middle of the place. They had a good amount of selections from Napa, to mushrooms, to sliced beef and pork to even seafood such as shrimp. My go to selection is beef, fried tofu skin, noodles and shiitake mushrooms. They also have a little table to the side for sauces that you can make as well as plastic cups they give you for soda. They also have a rice cooker on the side if you want rice. Anyway, this place definitely hit the spot with our hot pot craving. The meat such as the beef brisket could have been better but it does the job. We were here for a little over an hour and halfway through they refilled our broth. For the price, which hot pot is pretty pricey, this place is okay. The price is definitely up there compared to other bigger business buffets but is a nice little and cozy spot for a small business. Their restrooms though is a little weird getting to. This place is not good and the service is absolutely horrific. We came here to celebrate my grandmas birthday and we all got our food at different times. Chicken curry tasted like it was a frozen chicken patty. Hot pot sauce bar looks like it's been sitting out for days. Sushi burrito and crab puffs were VERY greasy to the point where it was oozing out. You are given red solo cups to drink out of, the owners are cheap and also have a portable ac unit to keep the place cool. I honestly do not know how this place is in business. Thank you for being open on Christmas Night! I was in town visiting my dad in the hospital and my son and I were desperate for a decent meal after visiting hours were over. This was the only place open in downtown Provo, and we were so grateful. To be able to sit down over a hot pot of food, and have fresh potstickers, dumplings and miso soup also brought to us, was a blessing. This place has been around for a while, long enough to see a dozen or so more hot pot restaurants open up between Salt Lake and Provo. While it doesn't have the fancy tables, tablet ordering, or premium ingredients that some of the slightly more expensive places might have, it's actually surprisingly flavorful. I did the spicy broth, my wife did the pork broth, and they started heating it up for us. You build your own plate of meat and veggies to put in the hot pot and then throw them in the pot. Wait a few minutes and it's ready to go. Their chili oil and sesame oil were somehow better than other hot pots I've been to. While they don't have the same selection some of the other places have up north, they have a lower price (buffet includes drink as well). It's worth it if you need some variety. read more

Cutest little Chinese owner is always cooking, cleaning, seating and serving guests! He is the sweetest little owner that greets and recognizes us every time and I don't even know his name. A Hot Pot experience is hard to come by in Utah and I believe this is the oldest one in Utah County, if there are even any others. A Hot Pot is where you pick up to two broths (miso, chicken, and level of spice-- little, medium or too hot, he says. ;) ) and then you pick your veggies and meats to dump in the pot and watch it cook in front of you. It is a delightful and unique experience and so fun! Cabbage is my favorite mix-in with the pork and rice noodles. While you wait for your broth, he brings you an appetizer: peanuts and pickled slivered carrots with a sesame bean paste and chili paste. You mix the two together to create the perfect mix for your appetizer and meal. You get to control your spice level which is nice. I love this little hot pot place and hope it continues to do well. I am writing this for people with celiac or gluten allergies. The only gluten-free soup base is the chicken broth (it is delicious). All the veggies are gluten-free. We LOVED the brown mushrooms. Rice noodles are the only noodles. The beef, chicken, and fish are gluten-free, too (the server said the pork is NOT) gf. Four Seasons Hot Pot has been a staple in our family for the past 13 years. Felt it was time to update my review. Little has changed over the past 13 years when it comes to Authentic Hot Pot which is a good thing. Because when new restaurants open, you'd want to go there as the food would usually be good as they want to make a good impression on you so that you'll tell your friends about it. But sad to say after a few months, the quality tends to go down hill as time goes on. With Four Season's Hot Pot, everything is literally the same quality and taste from when they opened till today. From the hospitable Husband and Wife duo all the way to the same ambient music (my kids grew up listening to that when we went there to eat). The dumplings are to die for, you'll want to call ahead to order or check if the wife is around to make them. The food is constantly being replenished and if you've NEVER had hot pot, it's a must try experience. You cook the food the way you want to in the soup base and as with Chinese tradition, you'll just talk and eat with your friends.
