Pro: phone ordering/ curbside pickup, friendly staff, clean interior. Con: small parking lot, online website doesn't work. Heard from a coworker that this restaurant made some pretty good Chinese food so I decided to give this place a try. I called the restaurant and ordered the egg roll, pork fried rice, chicken pad Thai, and orange chicken. The front parking is small and half the space is reserve for pick up but I do think you can park in the back which has more space. The interior was very modern and clean. The staff at the register was friendly and nice. After seeing home with the order I started with the egg roll and it was decent but nothing special. The pork fried rice was pretty good so no complaint there. The pad Thai was ok and only had a hint of the tangy taste that I am accustomed to for my pad Thai. The orange chicken that was encase in that sauce was very overpowering unless you combine it with the plain rice then it become perfectly balanced. All in all, I had a good experience with this restaurant and wouldn't mind tasting more food from here in the future. read more

Good Chinese food yes but our last orders have been very one note and lacked flavor even after adding soy sauce to try and spruce it up. Only place you can eat everyday pick a new dish and still love everything. Do not be fooled by the thought this is your everyday Chinese restaurant, this is in a class by itself. Chinatown has the freshest dishes, the worst part of coming here is having to choose only 1 entrée, although you can resolve this dilemma by coming more than once in a weekend trip. Tried their new Braised short Ribs entrée and let me tell you the beef is shredded and it just melts in your mouth, Chinatown has one of the best Chinese Steak with vegetables we have ever had. Overall I would say that none of the dishes had much flavor. Fried dumplings were good and i liked the dipping sauce. The ginger fish could have had more ginger flavor. The vegetables were plain though that was okay with me. The beef soup was a bit disappointing. The ramen noodles didn't have much taste and the broth was watery. The beef was pretty good - juicy It was pretty busy for 2 pm on Sunday and ambiance was nice. I liked the decor. I think it's worth another shot. My family planned a Christmas Eve get together and we wanted to order take out from our favorite Chinese restaurant. We checked for weeks and we knew they closed at 6pm on 12/24/24. I called at 4:25 to order our food and was refused. We had planned this for weeks and were counting on their advertised holiday hours! Now, I have nothing to give my family aside from fast food as most other restaurants have closed at this point. This is highly unprofessional, not to mention disappointing. Ventured here on the way home from a business trip, I looked at the reviews compared to others in the area and it was rated 4 stars...........I am not really sure why but I do know I will never step foot in this place again. We arrived about 1:30 and most of the dishes were out and they never replenished them the whole time that we were there eating, we more or less had to eat what was there or eat nothing. I love Chinese food and have eaten at high end to 3.99 buffets but this was by far the worst Chinese food that I have ever eaten, even I can cook Chinese fare better than this. It doesn't look especially fancy from the outside but inside is quite nice and comfortable. This isn't just a regular Chinese buffet restaurant. They also have a sushi bar and a lounge with full bar service. I ordered from the sushi menu and it was good. Two rolls following a plate of seaweed salad that was quite cold and still tasty. Very crisp seaweed. The sushi rolls were tasty, well assembled and fresh. And even though I enjoyed the sushi, I neglected to check out the buffet before sitting. I did afterwards and I think I made a mistake. It looks like the buffet really was a better choice with several options and even a small display of some sushi rolls. Outside looks very outdated but the inside is very modern and beautiful. Started off with egg rolls, crab rangoon, and dumplings. Egg rolls were very crisp and good. Crab Rangoons were very tasty and crunchy. Dumplings were moist and very good as well. Everything was fresh. Sesame chicken was next. It was moist and the sauce was sweet and very good. It has been awhile since our last visit because we don't live in the area. But oh what a pleasant surprise. We started off with fried dumpling and crab Rangoon for appetizers. Each came served over a bed of shredded cabbage with their own dipping sauce. Yummy!! I ordered 4 seasons with fried rice. My fiancé ordered The Hong Kong dinner with shrimp. What a delectable experience not to mention the service was friendly and very attentive. The overall atmosphere of the dining area was pleasant and very clean. I recommend Chinatown to anybody who likes Chinese. If you love good food you won't mind the price. We will go back and soon!! read more

My once favorite restaurant has seemed to cut quality and ingredients for costs. It's absolutely embarrassing what it is now compared to what it used to be. Everything tastes different. Not even good anymore. Why would these pieces of lettuce be okay for my lettuce wraps? They give you about 4 bites of rice now with a large order of any of the chicken meals. Should we talk about the restaurant itself? When is the pot hole that is the size of half my car directly in front of the restaurant going to be fixed. You still cannot safely see to pull out when leaving because the bushes have not been trimmed that are in the front on the parking lot. They haven't updated their phone system voicemail or their website. I used to come here 1-2 times a week. I maybe come once a month now and it's getting worse and worse. I've been wanting to write a review for about a year now. But after getting my lettuce wraps today I'm embarrassed that this even came out. When I ask for duck sauce they literally hand me 2-3. We moved away from the area 24 years ago and we were back in town for a visit. So, we decided to return to this restaurant to see if the food was as good now and it was way back when we lived here. After we were greeted and seated by the friendly staff, I saw my ole favorite on the menu, hunan chicken and so I had to order it. Our food was delivered promptly and with the anticipation of a young lad I took my first bite and I was instantly taken back to my young teen years. The taste of the chicken was the same as it was as when I first tried it as a kid. Wow! I was blown away...this is how Chinese food is suppose to be served...hot, fresh and not greasy or like it has been in a buffet pan for hours. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. I always noticed this place was so busy, and decided to try it for the first time a couple weeks ago. I'm glad I did! I have been there quite a few times since, because it's so good. I have been looking for a place that has good pho, and the pho here did not disappoint. They only have one option, beef. The broth has a nice flavor, but not overpowering. I also like how all your toppings come on the side in a dish, so that you can add as much or little as you want. My mom usually gets the lettuce wraps, which are really tasty, and my boyfriend likes their orange chicken. You always get a large portion for the price. The service is always friendly and they have a great wine and beer selection. I highly recommend checking this place out. read more

Based on my one visit while driving through town and my one dish of Sichuan Udon, I'd bet every else on the menu is pretty darn good. I asked the waiter, *if*the cook was Chinese, to make me whatever he wants involving beef or pork under $16. The waiter said the owner could get me something off menu if he was here, but he was off that night. The night's chef, however, was indeed Chinese. So the waiter came back with "ma pa tofu?" I don't like tofu, so I asked if could be ma pa beef-- Otherwise, I'd pick something from the menu. While he was gone, I studied the menu, which had some things you don't see at other Chinese restaurants (hint: if you want something more authentic, ALWAYS order one of those at a Chinese restaurant if you can't order off menu.) many of these were noodle dishes, so I was thinking that I'd go in the noodle direction... The waiter came back and said the chef said he didn't have the right kind of beef for ma pa beef :( He asked if I knew what udon noodles were. "That's funny," I told him, "that's what I was gonna order if chef didn't want to make a suggestion!" It came out in mere minutes, and the flavor was excellent. I love my food spicy but not painful--the other spices should not be drowned out. The dish found that balance perfectly. The poached egg on top was cooked just right, as were the thick n 'chewy udon. Love me some udon! One not-so-good thing: At first glance, I thought the pork was ground pork...but those tough little pieces must be minced leftovers or trimming of the end of a roast. Some were tender, but most were strikingly tough. Excellent service. My waiter, obviously, was accommodating. And the floor manager checked on me, and I noticed her stoping to ask other guests how they were doing. Halfway through my meal, I asked the floor manager for another poached egg, and she got it for me. Conveniently located next to La Quinta (and Super 8), this restaurant is one I'd visit again the next time I drive through town. read more
