Triple Delight, white rice and egg roll

I didn't have very high expectations based on the vast number of negative reviews, but I was hungry and this place was extremely busy on a Friday evening, so I decided to take a chance! NEVER AGAIN! The poor reviews are accurate. I ordered the triple delight and an egg roll. The food looked really good, but was as bland as could be and the consistency of the chicken and steak was gelatinous. The egg roll was extremely bland also! For the life of me I cannot understand how anyone could praise the food at this restaurant! Save your money and find somewhere else to eat!

The tofu all stuck together and the outside was almost rubbery

Got the "General Tso Bean Curd" and it felt like I was chewing on gum. The consistency was awful, I couldn't eat it. The sauce was good, but the tofu was inedible.

Appetizer fix: crab Rangoon (I think they call it crab and cheese wonton), fried crab claws, steamed dumplings with tons of sauce.

I was craving Crab Rangoon for DAYS and after another delivery place failed me the day before, I gave this place a try last night. The Rangoon is pinched-up wonton-style, so there is a lot of hard fried pastry at the top, but I just started eating at the bottom, where the good stuff is, and didn't eat the tops, like a strawberry. They satisfied my need and cured my grumps. The steamed dumplings are good and come with a ton of dipping sauce, not a tiny cup like elsewhere. The sauce has a distinct anise or fennel note, but is very tasty and not overly salty. The fried crab claws were krab, but adorably presented on little skewers with yummy tartar sauce. The chicken wings are fabulous, meaty not fatty, perfectly cooked and flavorful. We got Buffalo and Lemon Pepper and the Buffalo were mildly spicy, with a building heat. The Lemon Pepper were not noticably either, but were tasty wings. The dinner specials are HUGE servings and we didn't even get to them last night, so it's General Tso's chicken for breakfast! Since our usual delivery place has declined in service and quality, this may be our new go-to. Or come-here LOL.

i like the hospitality just coming thru the door and the professional treatment i got especially when i order my food like 5 min from closing. great pricing especially with everything going up these days. food was spot on i mean i would definitely have to say i will be coming again, little light on the pork in the rice and and little less fried on the egg roll as well but all and all a really great & recommend.

Shrimp egg rolls were ok. The remainder of our meal was not good. Fried rice had too much seasoning.

Food is good, I dislike how they melt the styrofoam with hot food for delivery. Delivery time is hit or miss.

I don't drink tea so I asked if I could exchange it for something else which they replied with "there will be a charge." Why are you forcing me to drink tea? There was not a single person in the restaurant at lunch, the older gentlemen who I assume is one of the owners was sitting at one of the tables with his laptop watching tennis. When I walked in he just said can I help you? He didn't offer a menu or anything. There isn't a menu posted anywhere so I had to ask for one and he hands me this piece of paper in a folder. Absolutely ridiculous do not eat here. I left hungry and furious with $20 less in my pocket. Had to go buy lunch somewhere else. Went to Ocean Island across the street! They have the same lunch special for $8.99 including a can soda!!! Wish I had went there first.

It was absolutely the worst honey chicken wings I have ever had. The honey chicken wings were undercooked, soggy and swimming in an unrecognizable sauce. The regular chicken wings were bland and greasy. I had placed the order via phone. I was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes. It took me 20 minutes to arrive at the restaurant. My coworker went in to pay and retrieve the order. Only to be told the order wasn't ready, it will be a few more minutes. Ten minutes later, the order was ready, however undercooked. My co-worker expressed that the inside of the establishment is out of date and needs improvement. Save your money or spend it elsewhere for a better experience.

I dined in, but it's clear that this is primarily a takeout spot. There was some clutter at the rear of the dining area, and my party was the only one dining in the entire time we were inside. Several people came in to grab takeout orders, though. Overall, this feels like a great local spot for flavorful and fresh Chinese food, but if you choose to dine in, the vibe might be slightly off. Perhaps some music in the dining area would help temper the atmosphere. Even still, I would come back again.

First off I love that it's a full service bar and eating at the bar is no problem. Second I absolutely love they sell pitchers of beer. Not many taps, but still pitchers. And it's mostly local beer. I was with my husband and we wanted to try several things and took recs from the bartender who was awesome. We ordered the pork dumplings, the scallion pancake and the spicy sichuan hot karaage rice bowl. And we made it a combo with miso soup and an egg roll for $4. The pork dumplings were SO good. I could eat a meal of those alone. They were dense and flavorful and the dipping sauce was slightly spicy. The scallion pancake was a surprise delight. It was crispy and not too greasy again with a delicious dipping sauce. The miso soup...chefs kiss. It looked like ordinary miso soup but there was something extra that we really loved!! And the egg roll was big and juicy and fried and wonderful. It's a veggie egg roll but don't let that fool you. So much flavor and again the sweet chili dipping sauce left us drooling. Most of those sauces are too sweet but this was the perfect blend and the perfect spice level. The rice bowl was full of flavor!! The spice on this is quite a lot so make sure you can handle heat if you order the "hot" version. But again lots of flavor not just hot. Thank god we didn't order anymore food because this was plenty for the two of us to leave full and honestly we could've had leftovers. We will 1000% be visiting again and fully understand the hype around this phenomenal restaurant!!

We started with the Vaya Con Dios frozies, which was dangerously tasty and reminiscent of an Asian twist on a pina colada. We ordered the corn bread, which was a great mix between southern style corn bread with spring onion butter, gouda, and honey. The size was slightly larger than an Eggo waffle and was a good portion between 4 people. The karaage was also tasty, with huge chicken portions and a sauce that included lemon mayonnaise and a tasty soy-sauce mix. Not to be outdone, the pork dumplings were a delicious mix of potato, leek, brown butter, and yuzu, and the market veggies were a bit tangy with dill, mint, and more. The fried rice and bucatini were yummy carb additions as well. This place is on the slightly nicer side with a gorgeous interior ambiance, and as a bonus had plenty of vegetarian dishes as well. I would recommend this place to folks in Charleston looking for a unique fusion meal.

We initially went there for the hibachi and enjoyed the food so much that we had to go back to try other things on the menu. From there we expanded and tried their wontons, and their onion soup, both of which have been delicious! The soup can be a little spicy or over seasoned at times but it's a great appetizer to share while you wait for the main course.
