What a let-down dining experience. I had higher expectations based on reviews and the recommendation from the hotel manager. But if this is the best that Springville has to offer, I'll be going to Provo or Spanish Fork for my next dinners. The atmosphere is pleasant, airy and light. The pan seared lightly battered halibut, $41, was as listed but the texture was like it had come out of the freezer and was dry. The sauteed asparagus was fine. Salad was a lot of iceberg and very little mixed greens. It took over 15 minutes to get my glass of wine. Apparently, only the manager can go downstairs to get the wine which is locked up in a room. And then when it did come, I had to bring it up to the server station and ask for it in a clean glass...smudges and wong lipstick color were the clues. Chocolate cake was fine, but not outstanding as other diners exclaim. Springville, you got to get your game up!

Aubrey is, without a doubt, the best server I've ever had! She was attentive, kind, considerate, and checked in on us at the perfect times. Props to her for working while pregnant, as well! We enjoyed the food so much. We got the charcuterie starter, some raspberry lemonade, and then I got the blackened salmon. Everything was delicious, the salmon was perfectly moist, and the flavors were incredible! We enjoyed our experience at Magleby's thoroughly and can't wait to come back.

My husband and I have been here twice now. We have enjoyed it both times. Great ambiance and great service. Everything we have ordered we have really enjoyed. The food is very flavorful and filling.

We love coming to Maglebys! Their rolls are incredible and they'll bring you more if asked. Our food was high quality and the staff was very helpful. My only complaint is that I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and I don't think the noodles were strained well enough. The sauce was great but underneath the noodles there was a puddle of water. I'm still giving them 4 stars though because other than that the food really was delicious!

My family loves Magleby's! We love their ambience, their service, their food and their desserts! It's in a cute part of town. Parking is always available. Everything we order there is delicious! They even have entertainment. We enjoyed listening to the violinist, Derek Xia! When we go to Provo to visit our daughters in college , we go to Magleby's each time!

Magelby's is pretty hit or miss for me. Breakfast is ALWAYS a hit. Dinner is what's a potential miss. The wedge salad was so yummy and I wish I had gotten a full size for dinner because that would have been perfect. I also had the Alfredo which was pretty watery and not super flavorful unfortunately. The steak was good and mashed potatoes are impossible to mess up. As far as desserts go the Chocolate cake was by far the best! Service is pretty good especially for how busy they get. The ambiance is fun and a little more dressy.

We came for Breakfast, and this was my first time here and my wife's first time since she was little. We had the French Toast and she absolutely loved it. It was pretty good, but I prefer Kneaders French Toast over these ones. Y'all have to come try it for yourselves for sure. It's a nice restaurant to come sit down and enjoy a meal, it feels very at-home. They waitress was super nice and we loved her. She was kind to our daughter and was patient with us. Great experience overall!

Stopped in finally to try their end of the month seafood buffet. The food was great, but I don't feel like it was worth the $60/person. The staff were attentive and kind, and the platters with the food were constantly being replaced and restocked. Magelby's has an interesting decor. It's a nicer sit down, but I can't quite put me finger on what the theme actually is. I recommend sticking to the normal, non-buffet days of you want to visit Z

We arrived to a busy restaurant and even without a reservation for a table of 6, they were able to promptly seat us. Our server was on point offering recommendations and making sure our entire experience was good. We had a variety of food ordered from salads, seafood pasta, sandwiches and chicken. I ordered the chicken Marsala and it was moist and flavorful - a good portion to fill my belly. It came with the option of soup or salad and served with steamed veggies. The veggies appeared to be fresh rather than the frozen ones many other places serve. Overall it was a great dining experience with good food, good service and a good atmosphere where we could easily converse and enjoy a dinner out with our group.

When we arrived and sat down, we were greeted by Joe telling us that "House rules, you're not allowed to order the same item". Lol. Love that guy! We both ordered Denver omelets, one without onions, extra mushrooms, French toast, and grits and one without mushrooms, hash browns, and pancakes. First off, the pancakes were amazing! They're light, had crispy edges, and had a wonderful flavor. But the best thing was it was in the shape of little donuts, which was a nice surprise. Our entrees came but were somehow got switched. We didn't realize it at first but both were still good. Unfortunately, my wife put Chalula on hers and I put Tobasco on mine and we don't like each other's choice of condiments. The other unfortunate thing was that I had an eggshell in my omelet. Even though we had these misfortunes you can't hide the flavor of these dishes and they certainly don't skimp on toppings. My grits were too sweet today. If it's too sweet for me, it must've been really sweet. The only other criticism I saw was that they were filling the syrup bottles from large Log Cabin jugs. They also were using Idahoan shredded potatoes from a large carton. I can understand the potatoes but how great would it be to have freshly made syrup. Still a great experience and they are still one of the best breakfast places on the state.

My husband got the eggs & diced ham with a side of biscuits and gravy. My son got the French Dip because you can order breakfast or lunch at 10 am. Everyone ate a good portion if not all of their food. It was good. We will definitely be back. For the food but more for the service!

Pleasant so we drove to the Spanish Fork location. My mother-in-law was opposed to us stopping here because she has a bad experience 30 years ago. We talked her into giving ac second chance. I ordered #2 Hanks Country Breakfast which included a chicken fried steak, hash browns, eggs, and biscuits and gravy. The chicken fried steak was crispy and not too much gristle like you would get with most cfs. The gravy was had a nice hearty flavor and with black pepper infused with the gravy. This gravy tastes really familiar to me. I thought I took a picture of my dish. I guess I didn't. The gravy was the same gravy that was on the biscuits and gravy. Again, very familiar with the b & g. The hash browns were cooked in butter not oil and had a nice light brown crust on both sides. I really appreciated this. My scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy and had a nice firm texture. I also ordered the Crazy Eights which is supposed to be "Italian Donuts" with Carmel and chocolate sauce drizzled on top with a chocolate dipping sauce. The "Italian Donuts" turned out to be the Utah Scone chopped up in triangles. I enjoyed the caramel drizzle but not the chocolate sauce, which was too bitter for my tastes. After thinking about why the biscuits and gravy tastes so familiar, they remind me of the biscuits and gravy from the IHG (Holiday Inn, etc) hotels I frequented when I was on the road. These b&g are supplied by Sysco Foods. Like I said, they taste a little too familiar for me. I'm not complaining, I really like these! What I am complaining about is how you order. I think using the phone at the table to order our food reminds me of the old "Training Table" restaurant chain. I didn't appreciate the "rules" on how we needed to order and that we couldn't split the check. They didn't even deliver the food to our table. I definitely won't be leaving a tip for service! My other complaint were the restrooms. They were nasty. I would've rather went in the bushes behind the building. Check your restrooms!!!! Good thing I didn't go in there before I ate.

However, we did have one drink server where we had some issues with, but our main waitress was lovely. For starters, our table shared the baked ricotta, balsamic glazed brussel sprouts, and bread rolls with honey and butter. The brussel sprouts were good, but the bread rolls were my favorite! They were so incredibly soft and pillowy. They honestly didn't even need the bread and butter! I was most excited for the baked ricotta, but unfortunately it was a disappointment for me. Ricotta is a very mild cheese to begin with, but I tasted absolutely zero flavor from it and it was mostly just adding a textural element to the bread. The fig walnut guanciale jam was overpoweringly sweet and the guanciale was also nonexistent. Overall, what I expected to be a flavorful combination, fell pretty flat and bland for me. Onto the main, I got to try the Block burger and the house made gnocchi. The burger was a standard burger, nothing too crazy. I was surprised the patty was actually moist because it was cooked well done. The same jam from the baked ricotta was used, so wasn't a big fan of it because again the overwhelmingly sweet didn't do much to elevate the burger. I also missed any flavor from the truffle cheese sauce. So it was a pretty average burger. My gnocchi definitely tasted better than it looked. Another friend also got the same dish and it looked like they just split our portions in half and served it on two separate plates. In general, I wasn't a big fan of this dish. The braised short rib was very tender, but the whole plate sat in a pool of salty sauce. I couldn't really make out any other flavors. The scoop of crème fraiche tasted exactly like sour cream and was not the consistency that I expected. The gnocchi's were made well, but I prefer mine a little firmer. However, this is complete personal preference. Overall, service was good, but food fell severely short of what I expected. I was so excited for all of these elevated flavors and ingredients, but, sadly, none of them came through.
