I love the ice cream! They have a lot of good flavors and the texture is perfect. For some reason this location consistently gets my order wrong though. Some employees are amazing and so friendly! Some seem like they really don't want to be there so customer service is hit or miss. I've been going weekly since it's been hot lately, and twice in my recent four visits they got the flavor wrong. The first time I luckily started eating it in my car and noticed it was wrong so they fixed it right away when I went back in the store. The second time I took it home to eat so didn't realize it until it was too late to be fixed. I wish they would repeat back the flavors to you when you checkout or at some point during the ordering process to be sure they're correct. I guess the lesson for myself and others is to check all of the flavors in your bowl before you leave this store. read more

First time trying this local favorite and it did not disappoint! Handel's had so many different flavors it was kind of overwhelming, but I finally settled on the raspberry cheesecake chunk in a waffle cone. The ice cream was rich and delicious and it had real chunks of cheesecake in it. I think one of the reasons why this place is so popular is because of the portion sizes. I got a small and it was huge! Even on a cold winter day, Handel's was busy on a Friday night. The service was incredibly fast and the workers were all super sweet. There's a small corner in the store with benches and a table if you're lucky you can snag a spot to enjoy your treat. My husband loves nuts in his ice cream and I'm a peanut butter lover. He had rocky road and I think mine was called Peanut Butter Dream. I went to the Orem location and it's so beautiful I wanted to just move in. The place is sparkling white. The servers look like old time soda jerks with their crisp white uniforms and their hats. I had one scoop of the Coconut and almost turned around to have them add another scoop it was that divine. I knew my husband loves ice cream as much as I do so I got a quart to go. Very disappointed! I was here on Wednesday for my Yelp Elite Badge Day perk and it was such a pleasure. The worker was very nice and super helpful. This time was like a total 180. The sign outside clearly says "MASKS REQUIRED" but there were at least 6 people waiting in line that had no masks on or in their possession. I have posted photos but put emojis on their eyes to protect their identity. The workers were very frazzled and rude. We had a coupon but didn't realize that it was for the Lehi location. The worker yelled and pointed aggressively instead of just nicely notifying us. We were a little taken aback. She was frustrated and just asked "Do you even know what you want?" We had to quickly tell her. Thankfully they had the flavors we wanted. When we were at check out, the other customers surrounding us were maskless and they were having a hard time with the register.
