    Gus

They were so attentive to Gus he is my handsome fur love Labrador Retriever... I started going to lees Summit animal clinic and had the worst experience... they would not respond to phone calls, emails etc The days of family owned businesses gone But, Chipman animal clinic made me feel that Gus was secure, safe...that is all we want...to some of us our fur babies are not just pets they are our children...

Always nice to me and my dogs. They are walk-in only, so a wait can be expected but I never mind due to guaranteed excellent care.

This week one of our rats took a turn for the worse and the whole team at the facility was so sweet and kind. They got us in before closing time to put little Nibbles down. From the moment I walked in they took care of us, ushering us back into a room with a fluffy blanket for her to lay on while we waited. They let me go back with her while they put her down and even made ink prints of her tiny feet for my 2 girls. We truly appreciate the upstanding care from everyone we encountered.

I took him up to Pleasant Hill Animal and they said can we do a rectal check and I told them yes is clear and they had done an x-ray and they said everything looks good. It looks like he ate today because his stomach is full and I'm thinking to myself. Why is his stomach full? He didn't eat yet. So I waited took him back again and they said everything looked good, but can we do a rectal exam and I said so a rectal exam and nothing so I took him back in February 2022 still with the same problem and they said could they do an erectile exam and I said OK go ahead was over a year and a half or less and still, they couldn't find any problem. The problem was getting worse at that point. So I took him back the next month and they said what can we do a rectal exam and I said you just did one last month how many times do you wanna look up there? They kept charging me and doing nothing and it's not about the money. It's about my dog all this time he was suffering and all this time they were taking him in the back saying they were doing rectal exams. Maybe they were maybe they weren't but I don't know. It seems like one or two would've been sufficient. So I left with him then I made an appointment for Raymore Vet veterinarian hospital. That was on a Tuesday and they said well let's try his diet first and I said OK so three days later on a Friday the 13th I took back to Raymore and I said he's not getting any better and she said I know you've already done three or four rectal exam, but would you mind if we do one so we can try todetermine what's going on? I told them OK go ahead. They came back out and told me he was full of cancer. That dog was laying on a cool surface that explains why he was having diarrhea and not being able to go because he had blockage in there. The diarrhea was caused from the cancer. There were other now off the top of my head I can't think of them because every time I talk about this I'm so furious. I basically paid to let my and die. If you have a problem, even a minor one my honest opinion I would never take an there again ever and I've never been back since then. They blocked me on their website because I told the story which it's the honest to God truth I'm not want to lie and I don't like people that do lie. I'm just telling my story so other people won't lose their the way I did it. It's just 100% honesty. And it goes to show you what kind of people they are they blocked me because of my honesty or is it because of their lack of knowledge and not helping an animal the way they should be capable of helping all of the times I took him there the couldn't come up with anything but within three Raymore Vet veterinarian had him diagnosed. People just beware if you love your them there.

On our seven year old Shih Tsu, "Callie's birthday, the groomer at Crysler Animal Hospital discovered swollen lymph nodes. The clinic there did some blood tests and forwarded a sample to the KU Veterinary School for analysis. KU definitively affirmed lymphoma and suspected a possible cancer present. Dr. Erica Nowlin at Crysler suggested further testing at BluePearl Pet Hospital as they are an oncology hospital and would be able to confirm cancer. We easily booked an appointment and Callie was seen by Dr. Heather Heeb on Thursday 5/28/26. We were impressed with the thoroughness of the examination and testing results. We were offered a plethora of treatment options. But we came away with the realization, Callie will succumb to this disease. On Friday 5/29/26, we made two phone calls to BluePearl, leaving two voice mail messages. Neither were acknowledged nor did we receive a callback. On Monday 6/1/26 7:20 a.m. we called and again left a voicemail at the tone requesting an Rx for prednisone which Dr. Heeb had suggested for comfort. Due to the unresponsiveness we experienced, we called the Crysler Hospital at 7:24 to expedite meds, as it was obvious that Callie was in discomfort. By 8:15, Dr. Jay Schweizer called to alert us that Callie's meds were ready for pick up. Thanks so much to the caring, attentive team at Crysler for great COMMUNICATION. Below is a screenshot of the text message received from BluePearl. I would recommend an improvement in communication from the team at BluePearl regarding aftercare.

My dog fell off the bed and wasn't walking on his hind legs is why we rushed him to Green Summit. Instead of putting my dog on a stretcher they made my husband walk him into their facility. He was wobbly and fell twice on the hard floor before my husband picked him up and they put them in a room. When we called we informed them of our dogs condition and he couldn't put any pressure on his hind legs. He should have been put on a stretcher from the car to get seen. So the new vet came in (a Man with tats on his head) and they misdiagnosed him with an ACL injury and sent us home with steroids and pain pills. No Xray or tests were done. By that night our dog was completely paralyzed from the chest down. We took him to another vet and they said he definitely had a spinal cord injury. which should have been correctly diagnosed from the beginning. After a week of my doggy paralyzed he was no longer urinating, we called around town to see if we could get him in to release his bladder, and Green Summit was the ONLY one who could get him in. So again we took our dog to this vet. The same vet came in but this time not as a man, but as a woman in a wig and a stuffed bra on. He gave us the most vague answers on what we needed to do, so he referred us to an emergency vet. A $400 bill for them to recommend him to a different vet. We got to the emergency vet and after an hour they came in with horrible news, Diesel couldn't be fixed and was living in pain...we had to put my 6 year old guy to sleep. WHY DID YOU HAVE MY DOG EVEN ATTEMPT TO WALK INTO YOUR FACILITY??? We told you over the phone he had no movement in his back legs. I know he was probably wasn't able to be fixed, but with the right diagnosis maybe he wouldn't have suffered for a whole week

Over a month, we were making daily trips to Green Summit, then every other day, then a weekly visit while we waited for one of her puncture marks to close.
