While on a business trip to Buffalo, I became incredibly homesick. To cheer myself up, I decided to look for a nice meal. I was a little concerned at first. I don't know why, but Buffalo doesn't have many restaurant reviews. With persistence, I found an entry for Chipotle, just 3 miles away from my hotel. SCORE! I never thought I'd be so happy to find Chipotle. I called a cab and off I went to buy the most expensive Chipotle meal ever, at a total of $30 ($7 burrito + $23 taxi fare). I ordered the usual: steak burrito, no beans, mild and medium salsa, corn, sour cream, cheese and lettuce. The steak was a tad too salty, but fresh off the grill. Everything else was as you would expect from a Chipotle. For its great food and ability to comfort a homesick person, this place earns four solid stars. read more

Despite the recent bad press, I always have and always will enjoy Chipotle. Love the rice, corn salsa, and guacamole. This restaurant can be a bit inconsistent - once the rice was over cooked, another time it was still crunchy. Sometimes the veggies are a little burned. Sometimes the corn isn't ripe. Okay it is sad that Chipotle is the best Mexican food in Buffalo (unless you can track down Lloyd), but I am thankful it is here. Worst chipotle ever the workers clearly do no look like they want to work here. Also why is the meat not grilled here it's cooked on a flat grill which is the equivalent of pan frying the meat. They were also skimpy on the meat rice and beans definitely can tell the difference from chipotles in Cali from the flavor and all. read more

I frequent Chipotle a lot, more than I care to admit. Ever since they opened in Buffalo, I've been a huge fan and could happily eat there every day if I could. I always order a rice bowl, and they used to give overflowing portions, enough where I could save some for lunch the next day. I was quite satisfied with that but it was understandable when I noticed there was a bit of a cut back with the serving size. However now they've gone a little too far. This location, which I go to most often, seems to be the worst offender of them all. I was actually insulted by how little rice they put in my RICE bowl last time, I couldn't believe it. I've also had to start asking for my guacamole on the side, because if they put it straight in my bowl, my rice bowl ends up being 90% guacamole. I suppose this is because you do have to pay extra for it so the serving size is a bit more generous. Ultimately they went from giving huge portions, to cutting back a little too much and I'm left wanting more after paying nearly $10 for my meal. I usually order via the app and have it waiting for me since the line here tends to get very long. I typically have great service and things are usually very clean and efficient.I am convinced you get more food if you order the bowl version of your burrito. read more

Fresh...fast...and delish. Go here at least twice a week....for under $10 you get the best stuff. Simple menu...always get the bowls....with salad .. meat...brown rice...sauteed peppers and onions....sour cream and sometimes guac. The line workers tried to move through customers way too quickly, making my own quesadilla as well as my friends very poorly. Originally, the workers only put cheese and barbacoa on it and checked us out. When I asked for more toppings, they told me it would cost extra and they only put the other ingredients in side cups. There food is semi- decent however there dining room is absolutely horrendous. The floors were filthy, There was food all over the place. The tables were not wiped down and whats up with the wooden chairs.If this place would take the time to clean they would have many more customers. As far as fast food Mexican goes, this place is pretty great. It surely doesn't hurt that the first time we had it, my girlfriend and I got a bunch of free food. Maybe the guy helping us thought we were cute, haha. But seriously, the burritos are pretty big and everything is pretty cheap given the size. I absolutely LOVE chipotle and normally only have good things to say! However, tonight I was craving it so bad and I realized it was the only thing around me open seeing it was 9:25pm! I arrived at this location a little before 9:40pm and the workers had already locked the doors and were cleaning up. I tried to go in but none of them would make eye contact to let me in and as we pulled away they were laughing. I understand how annoying it is to close up a restaurant having experience myself but if your hours say you close at 10pm I would appreciate if you stay open until then. Used to be a pretty good restaurant for a quick bite, but this location, in particular, has gone downhill. I ordered a burrito bowl with carnitas, which is supposed to have 4 oz. of meat according to their website. I received around 1.5 oz. The rice was also overcooked and gummy. I get a craving every week for this stuff, and I usually end up getting a chicken fajita burrito, extra rice, no sour cream and the rest of the fixin's. i once followed a girl's order in front of me and had them to put the salad dressing on the rice for my burrito. It was a huge mistake, the burrito was barely edible, it became too sweet. What a waste. Also the burrito bowls aren't satisfying for some reason. Might be because its a tad healthier? I had the worst service I've ever received at any chipotle I've ever been today. My mother and I came to have lunch together and she ordered a kids meal the gentleman on the hot station told her to pick her side for the taco she said she just wanted rice for the side. He filled all three SIDES of rice. She then explained she wanted her tacos with chicken in them. He said I already told you you only get three side and you picked rice for all three. She tried to explain she didn't know that didn't included the meat. He then said I told you you only get three side with an attitude. I them interjected that she didn't know that he then snapped back with more attitude. The girl in cold them stepped in and made them the way she wanted them made. No employee apologized to my mother for the confusion not even the older woman at the register. My mother and I come to chipotle regularly and don't think we'll be coming back for awhile. just recently we went in this store ,very poor service and really bad food quality.the rice I got for my daughters not even warm, I asked one of thing if it's hot the worker there said no but end up very spicy. I'm not one to complain I do really like their food but they should probably hire a more competent lunch hour cashier who can handle large volume and accept when she messes up someone's order and fix it. This location mirrors all other locations. Always clean and always well prepared food. Service is usually fast and pleasant but the lines during the day are usually a good 10-15 minute wait. This is due to the location and work lunch hours. Plus it's right off a huge shopping outlet so just keep the time in mind. Plus you can always go online and preorder for a pick up. read more

I have a question for Chipotle. Why did Chipotle partner with Doordash or any delivery service if they were going to treat customers who chose to have their Chipotle delivered differently than walk in customers? My delivery driver had a pickup time of 9PM. After about 7 minutes my driver checked on my order, and was told it's coming. At 9:11, the driver was told the same thing. At 9:15, the driver was told it's coming they have to take care of the walk-in customers first; are you kidding me? I'm a paying customer; my order was pre-paid. Why would the driver have to wait for my order to be prepared? My driver kept me updated and apologized, but unassigned the order since there was no way of knowing how long the order would take. I understand the drivers reasons for leaving; waiting on my order stops the driver from making money on another order. However, I don't understand why customers who choose to have their food delivery is treated like second rate citizens. DON'T PARTNER WITH DELIVERY COMPANIES IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE IT! Staff was extremely rude at this particular location. I came with my family for a "girls day out" lunch after shopping (on my recommendation because i've heard good things about their food). When I wasn't sure what I wanted and asked a couple questions about what would be included with my meal the server treated me like a idiot and rolled her eyes at me more than once. After being taken aback by her uncalled for rudeness I decided I was not going to order where she proceeded to THROW my ordered taco salad bowl with only some beef in there into the garbage. Not only was I glad I didn't finish my order but then I was subjected to hateful stares from both her and the manager after she took a break from finishing my family's order to go tell him of this apparently crazy situation I had apparently created. If I had not been there with my family I would have told her exactly what I thought of the situation and my own mother had to convince me not to call their corporate office despite her agreement with how wrongly the staff handled a simple question. Maybe that server was having a really bad day but it should never be taken out on a customer like she did. I will never return to another Chipotle and have no quarrels about sharing that experience with anyone thinking of going into a Chipotle. MOE'S is where its at!!! Chipotle must stand for The Devils Hole. This particular restaurant is always dirty, messy tables, food scraps on the floor and condiment bar, and don't get me started on the bathroom!! I understand they are busy, with the college kids and their friends and all, but can't they find the time to bus a table or two?! Geez!! The line moved quickly, but the girls behind the counter seemed annoyed, and mumbled when they asked what rice we wanted, and even more annoyed when we asked them to speak up! Another person in my party pointed and asked if a particular sauce was hot, and the girl asked him not to point above the glass. Not a PLEASE from her , just a "chicken head shake" and a DON'T POINT ABOVE THE GLASS. Is it policy? Is it food/health related? If so, maybe these ladies should be wearing hairnets?! I have to say, the girl who cashed us out was pleasant though. After getting home, we started to eat, the salsa was good but my chicken was dried out, and LOW AND BEHOLD...
