Went to Chipotle last night , the one in Buckeye on Watson next to Wing stop. The quality is starting to drop off. The later you go the worse things get as far as quality. The area that the food sits is always a mess and that maybe from them being so busy that they don't really pay attention to it but then when they do decide to clean up, your waiting at least 4-5 min and sometimes no one will acknowledge you standing there.last week , the fajita vegetables were kinda burnt, this time the brown rice was hard, but it was at the bottom of the container so note to self and a tip maybe for others, get there when there is plenty of the items to choose from, when they start to run low , maybe it's time to go. The staff is lack luster and maybe it's the later in the evening group who appears to not give a f@*#k. All really young people. No one appears to have any authority around there. Show some kind of enthusiasm maybe? And if you hate the job quit. They need a secret shopper to check on that place in the evening to watch them. This is the second time I have been to this chipotle and my experience was just as bad this time as it was the first time I went. I go to this one because it's the closest location but on both occasions the staff were rude and showed no customer service. I showed up at 8 pm only to be told they were out of almost everything besides chicken, rice, and beans. When I asked for chips they told me they were out however I seen the staff behind them making fresh chips and they had a full container of chips sitting out. When I asked why those chips weren't available they responded with "those are for the online orders" to which I noticed they only had two. When I spoke to the manager at check out about the issue her response was with an attitude that " you didn't hear my announcement when you came in?" As if it were our problem that we were asking for products that were clearly available. read more

Typical chipotle joint. Nothing out of the ordinary from any other chipotles. It is clean, the service is fast and food is great. Although all other factors are up to par, the meat proportion (I ordered half chicken half carnitas) was disappointingly unbalanced. Very minor complaint but we all know that feeling of getting to the last piece of meat and there's still a load of rice and other ingredients. It was packed when we stop over but the wait is not long. The staff was very efficient. Parking was spacious and bathroom was clean. Chipotle, whether for lunch, snack or dinner, will always be a win! read more

First time I ordered online the food was salty. I don't know if it was the pico or the guac but it seems like they dumped 2 pounds of salt in there somewhere. I ordered today online again and food tasted like someone has dumped a bucket of saltwater in my bowl. Seriously , do employees not taste the food there? I don't typically leave reviews, but this location is terrible. It's 8:30 at night and they don't close until 10pm. They're out of most of their meats, no corn, lettuce, etc. there's 4 online orders and a line full of people with only 1 person on the line making orders while everyone else is cleaning. The grill is already being cleaned and they're not putting anything else out. There was no prep for the last hour and a half of the night. Everyone was turning away after they were out of the meat options. Our order was filled with half scoops of everything to ration what was left of their stock to everyone else in line. I've been coming to this location for a few years now and the food is good so I come back. Recently these past few months they have stopped making fresh food around 8/8:30pm and they are open until 10:00pm. Don't order delivery. Usually half the order is lost and they don't give you a refund but a credit and you can only use one meal at a time. If you pick it up, be prepared to wait as they are always late it seems. Even if there is no one in line the front staff stands around while the to go folks try to keep up. My favorite is that they don't label anything so it's fun for the family to unwrap burritos to try and figure out which one is yours. I like chipotle but this location doesn't have their act together. Need Mexican? There are three better run options within a few blocks. read more

My wife and I used to come here fairly frequently (a couple times a week). But Chipotle's leadership are some of the greediest individuals in corporate America. Look at "inflation" and organizations who are seeing record profits year after year. Chipotle is leading the pack. I digress. Whoever is the GM who has implemented the extra for extra cheese is vial. Today I was helped by a young woman who was very nice. I had asked for two handfuls of cheese for the burrito that was made and she had stated that it would be $1.60 more for extra cheese. I said let me see what a normal portion looks like. Apparently three fingers is a normal portion? To who? Three fingers of a small woman is equivalent to one of mine as a grown man. So where is the consistency on portion control when you are telling your employees to measure using their own fingers instead say the portion cups you have at your disposal? I didn't know that three fingers is a source for measurement, this was not taught at the school I went to. Rather than take out my frustration on customer facing employee I appeal to my fellow Buckeye folks to boycott this establishment. We are only padding the wallets of management by paying more for what was considered average previously. Ok here is a shocker... I went to chipotle for the first time when I was recently in Arizona... talk about unexpected. But it was free and ummm yeah it was this or some other disgusting fast burger/taco joint... Why are there no good taquerias in the greater Phoenix Metropolitan area? WTH! I would riot over that if I lived out there. Thankfully I do not... So yeah back to chip-oat-lay. This place is the subway of burrito places. I doubt the tacos are worth it since they are small and the same price with much less food as the burritos I think... Pro Tip: Ask for stuff on the side, you often get a lil bit more if you do! But back to the burrito... I got a barbacoa meat burrito. Not sure what kinda meat barbacoa is, but it was aight i suppose. It coulda been cat meat for all I know. This joint is absolutely overboard with regards to carbs and thick hunnies wanting to eat here. I think I was the skinniest person there and I dont think I am skinny. The build it up burrito/taco concept is solid and better than some other joints that I have been to. I consider the food fair, but nothing special. This location has let me down. So sad. Their portions are half of what they used to be they don't even give you a full scoops anymore. The last times I've been there were right when they were supposed to be open. They unfortunately never open on time it's always 6-10 min after they should have already been open. And they're still running around trying to get things done. I'm not sure if they're under staffed or not but some people are on a schedule. This very last time I was there they didn't only open late, but a lot of the food items that should have been available were not. They under served and from the rush they were in had barely mopped the floors before opening. As a result the lady in front of us fell flat on her back. The line was building then after completing one order he walks to the back leaving no one to take or fill orders and the woman at the cash register to just look and stare at the growing line. The food tastes great like like most Chipotle however order in person and not on the chipotle app or website . When I order in person they have trouble closing the tortilla however through the app it is about half the size. I order two burritos and when I picked up the order the weight appeared off so I look to see if they missed a burrito or I forgot to add beans or rice. On Sunday 01/14/2024, I ordered 3 bowls, 2 chicken with guacamole, 1 carne asada with guacamole, 2 chips one with small guacamole and the other with queso dip.. 2 drinks.... Let's start with the service, attitude and was treated as though we were in some way putting the team member out by making our food. The cashier was friendly, however after paying and going to the beverage dispenser, she became just like the other team member... The ice machine was not dispensing ice and the root beer was only carbonated water, alerting the cashier as to the issue, she says oh there is no ice? and never came to correct the issue. My daughter again alerted the cashier she says, give me your cup and I will get you some ice from the back. (what about the other customers)? On to the food, the chicken and the carne asada meet was cold, the rice (white) was undercooked. I literally paid 50.66 for a lunch that was meh, and to top it all off we all had the tale tale signs of improperly handled/stored food, that evening and into the next morning... I have contacted Chipotle Corp... let's see if I get any response,,, I want my money back at minimum. I will be contacting the AZ dept of health services, to alert them of this location's issues... I dropped in during an epic drive from LA that was taking twice as long as googlemaps said it was going to take. Needless to say, I was super exhausted by the time we got to Buckeye at 9pm and my kids were HANGRY and I had been driving since noon. One of my children has multiple food allergies including corn and it is very overwhelming to find food spontaneously on the road. Chipotle was one of the few places open at that time so I took the risk. I could hardly think when we got inside and making split second decisions to order for 3 people was very overhwelming. Martha was extremely helpful and attentive and never once lost her upbeat and quick thinking personality while dealing with us. She made everything so much easier and by the time I was sitting down to eat, our anxiety went down several notches due to her helpfulness. Also the bathroom was very clean. Lost 1 star due to the worker who attempted to force me to look at the allergy guidelines to base my ordering decisions even after I told her I was so exhausted I was seeing double, with 2 small children having hangry meltdowns while she was interrupting the ordering process between Martha and I. Allergy guidelines are great to have but when the customer is begging you to just answer the questions, handing them this intense information to figure it out alone is basically shutting them down. read more

The service here is rude. They prioritize mobile orders so you might as well order online since you'll be in line for over 30 mins before they will take your order. We got up to the front they asked my brother what he wanted he said "a side of queso nd chicken pls" The girl couldn't hear him, so he repeated it nd she said "ok, anything else" he said yes pls a bag of chips. She said okay. We come up to pay nd she charges us for our food nd tries to rush us off. Meanwhile my brother didn't get his food, but he went before me nd she even asked us if we were tg we verbally said yes. So I tell her we didn't get the queso nd chips. Lunch breaks are only so long so when I'm standing out front for 10-15 minutes after 10:45 waiting for them to open their doors, im upset. Change the hours to open at 11am so nobody get disappointed. I ended up leaving to get food elsewhere after wasting half my break. read more
