I would like to express that I had a very negative experience at this location. The customer service was terrible. The employee cutting the meat showed highly unsanitary behavior--at one point, he put a piece of meat in his mouth in front of all the customers. Additionally, I was initially told there was no meat available, but after stepping out for just a couple of minutes and coming back, the meat was already ready. I believe honest communication and respectful treatment would have made a big difference. I also noticed there were no napkins, sauces, or basic items available for customers. I hope management takes this into consideration and works on improving both hygiene standards and customer service. read more

I came to write this review originally because I came in at 10:05 and the 2 female employees were literally closing the store, grill being cleaned, I go to order, she says "just so you know there's no lettuce, rice, chicken, or protein." What's the point of chipotle staying open until 11:00? Anyway, the most important part about this to me, is that I went here around a month ago, and the food was absolutely disgusting. I couldn't even eat it. This happened to me like 5 times in a row, and I figured maybe sometimes it was just hit or miss, and I could sometimes get chicken that had just been out a little long. Only a week ago did I go to the chipotle in tanger, and then I remembered how much I actually liked chipotle. Chipotle Mexican Grill is my go-to when it comes to fast food options. It has a decent price point,is good, is relatively healthy (especially when compared to those fast food burger chains) and you can get in and out in a relatively quick amount of time (even if the lines can get pretty crazy). This particular location is on International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach and is convenient to Interstate 95 if you are traveling and want a quick meal. The service was friendly and while the place had a few dirty tables, it was right after the lunch rush and it seemed they were a bit short staffed (as many businesses are). I went with a chicken burrito bowl and they were not skimpy on toppings and again, service was friendly. I also have to give the team kudos on dealing with a rather arrogant woman ahead of me. They kept their smiles intact and remained professional as she was, well, she was behaving how I hope most of our mothers taught us not to be. All in all, it was a positive experience. read more

I came here after work tonight just to be treated poorly due to a rush. I too work on the service and food industry and I understand how busy a Friday night can get. However, just because there's a rush doesn't mean you treat people poorly for literally ordering food. Out of all people I was treated poorly by the general manager I was told " it's a Friday night during a rush" basically saying what did I expect on a Friday night during a rush. All this after I made a comment to my sister about how I was being rushed and they were making the food incorrectly because they were rushing and just throwing it together. If you know what you want, skip this location. They are ALWAYS out of something and it's often the proteins or the sour cream or the corn salsa or the fajita veggies. Even when they have the fajita veggies, they are usually undercooked and crunchy. On the other hand, If you like crunchy green peppers in your burritos and you don't care what kind of meat is in it or whether they have the ingredients you want, stop on in. I should have turned around and left (others did) when I saw piles of food debris left on the serving line and that the dining room was dirty. My boyfriend and I eat at Chipotle pretty frequently and we stopped at this one. The service was good and they gave really good portions but the chicken was absolutely charred. We had to pull all the chicken out of our meal because it was so burnt you couldn't chew it. When we first walked in the people in front of us were requesting a refund for the food they had received. When we were checking out the workers were talking about how the person cooking had burnt the steak that morning. They only had chicken and barbacoa my guess is they had burnt everything. read more

My job keeps me mobile throughout central Florida so I eat at either chipotle or places like pollo tropical most days for a healthy alternative. This location has been out of dressing every single time I have gone in for a salad. I too have just experienced the rude, disrespectful and crappy food today at this location. I ordered 2 bowls, the first two they piled on the meat but mine they skimped on. When I asked for a little more meat on mine, the server kind of snapped and said "if we put more on than we're supposed to, we'll get yelled at!". Chips were stale and the Carnitas Bowl I ordered didn't taste good. The meat was cold and the rice wasn't thoroughly cooked, rice was too crunchy. The staff wasn't friendly at all. They got me with the new riced cauliflower with cilantro lime commercials. I ordered that with Carne Asada, black beans, mild salsa, veggies, cheese and lettuce. I must say the meat was overcooked and tough, and the cauliflower was two dollars extra and bland. My lunch with a bottle of water was $13.67 and not worth repeating. I have never gone to this location and not had a problem, the staff to put it politely are assholes, the quality is subpar, and the service is horrible. Anytime I travel I tend to stop at chipotle because it's a quick and healthy meal. The food I will say was delicious. They put red peppers in the chicken bowl which is usually not there. Loved it! Typically, I go to the chipotle on cornerstone because it's cleaner and the food is always fresh but they ran out of a couple of sauces that I like on my food. So, I decided to give the one on international a chance but when I had walk in, it was a few employee laughing and one young lady ran away so I was bit confused on what was going on. I walk up to order & one employee said just one moment so something told me look at the floor between the food and the grill.
