I understand inflation has hit every product. I refused to pay $13 for a burrito. Maybe if I was on the road and had no other options I would succumb. I suppose my other alternative is to go back to work and earn inflated dollars to match inflated expenditures. In the past, I patronize chipotle frequently, especially when I was on a diet and you could order a side of one of the meat portions for $2.50 . Now doing a side order which is about 2 ounces of meat is $7.50. Absurd. Clearly they do not want to sell 2 ounce portions of meat as a side order since the cost works out to be $60 a pound. This chipotle has always been pretty consistent and usually clean. I've been to other chipotles where it's just a dumpster fire, but this one there's always ample amount of food and they're always cooking the meats. They're pretty good about the portions here and although they're not packing the burrito with a crap ton of meat, I would say that the portions are good. read more

I love Chipotle but will never return to this one. I always get two soft tacos but have had trouble keeping the food juices from spilling out of the aluminum. I always ask to have them in a bowl to go instead but here, they charge you one guacamole serving to use a bowl when ordering tacos. I asked why that is and the response I got was "bowls are for bowls and aluminum is for tacos and burritos" with a side of attitude. Got the brisket burrito bowl. We paid $5 extra for nothing. Could barely find any brisket in the bowl. We dug around and found a few little pieces. Probably less than 2 tablespoons. Total rip off! Looked nothing like the ad. Horrible. Almost $20 for a bowl of rice and sour cream. read more

This Chipotle is terrible at online/delivery orders. They always forget something and their servings are a lot stingier than other locations. The picture attached is of my teenage son's untouched order of "double steak, double rice" (his go-to order at every chipotle). It's not even as much steak as most locations' single servings, despite paying for extra portions. If you've been to a Chipotle, you know what to expect here. This location is not super easy to get in and out of, but considering the general lack of options along Hampden, this place is pretty good. Tucked in the back corner of the marketplace anchored by Whole Foods, Chipotle shares a very narrow parking lot with a few other restaurants. I can't say that I've ever seen a huge line here, but I am sure that it happens. The staff seems pretty competent. Although consistent, I do think that sometimes they seem to skimp on portions. "And can I please get like a handful of cheese?" You mean like this three finger pinch more? No, like more, like a handful please. Is this 3 finger pinch more enough? No. Look, you're not saving the company any money here because you're just pissing off a ton of people watching this debacle. Handful of cheese. Now. Thank you. You know, typical fast casual restaurant stuff line stuff. Three stars. Pro tip: Always ask them to drain anything before they drop it onto whatever you're ordering. They forget. Every. I usually love Chipotle's, but this location only has 4 tables open to sit at . All of the others are closed off. We had to take our food to go and the cheese quesadilla had no cheese in it when we opened it up and there were hardly any chips with the chips and guacamole. I actually like this Chipotle when it is busier than when it is dead. When they are busy they are whipping up everything fresh and working through the line to get us all our food quickly. When this place is dead, sometimes the food is a bit off and I swear it is slower than when its packed. Still, this is one of the better ones. Generally good food and good sized portions. I echoed many of the Yelpers here mentioning about the small portion of their food. Today, I stopped by this location for a quick lunch. Friendly staff but they were very stingy with their food. I am not sure if they were trained to do so. I literally got less than 10 small pieces of chicken and you can literally count how many strands of lettuce on my bowl. Taste is consistent with other Chipotles. I had requested a side of sauce but it was forgotten until I asked a second time. Less than average location for a Chipotle. I'm definitely a fan of the food, just not at this particular location. The staff is slow and not engaging or even actually engaged. The guacamole was especially bland and the burrito not expertly rolled. In fact, the burrito was a sloppy mess that made me wish I'd gotten the bowl, tortilla on the side. I have gone to this chipotle for several years, and had good results. Last night I went and ordered my usual, a taco and chicken quesadilla, asking that it be in half and cut in triangles like they used to as I do not like the folded ones. They are more like a burrito. I get home and it is a cheese quesadilla, hardly any cheese, tough tortilla, could not eat. Went back today and saw manager and she said get in line and get another. Very negative, as if it were my fault, no concern that I had to drive back to the store. I came home and unwrapped it, there was 2 inches of empty tortilla around the edge and 3 small inches of meat and cheese, who wants to eat a plain tortilla? Now this cost me $8.70, a 2nd trip. I went at 2:30 so they would not be so busy, but met with nothing but negativity and a 3x2 quesadilla to eat. Served a pile of bullshit by the manager. Ordered a meal last night...chicken, brown rice, lotsa lettuce, corn salsa and guacamole. Paid in cash, came home and opened my foil to realize that they gave me someone else's plate of food, steak with lots of peppers, onions, and bullshit. Ate some last night, gave me a bountiful case of diarrhea last night and this morning! When I returned to the store and ordered what I wanted...chicken, brown rice, lotsa lettuce, corn salsa and guacamole (made and served by the EXACT SAME 3 PEOPLE from last night, including the manager)...the manager told me that she couldn't exchange the incorrect order that I brought in, for the correct order because I didn't bring in the receipt! I try and avoid writing about chains, but this is a darn good Chipotle location. I stopped in today and all three of the people behind the counter were sweet and genuine and so so helpful. I wasn't sure what I wanted due to dietary restrictions and the little ladies were just awesome. Seriously. I would drive out of my way across town to get to this location. The staff here must take happy pills, because they are always smiling and friendly. I frequent this Chipotle about 3-4x a week, because it's an easy place for me after a workout and they cater to my new vegetarian/vegan lifestyle really easily. I have always loved Chipotle, but this location is especially nice. It is very close to home. Everyone there is super friendly, the restaurant is clean, and it's always a good experience.
