Everything was made fresh and packaged beautifully. The place was clean and welcoming. The food was incredible! Even though I got it to go, it was amazing at home! I didn't take pictures because I started eating right away. The Caesar wrap with extra dressing was phenomenal! The chicken is really top-tier. The salad was also amazing and I had it the next day! The salad portion is huge. You could probably get a salad and chicken strips (or a wrap) to share! Looking forward to coming back. It was so worth it!

You place your order at one of the kiosks, then just watch the pickup screen until your order is ready. The whole process is quick, simple, and efficient. I ordered the seasonal Thai Chicken Wrap with fries, and honestly, it's one of the best wraps I've had in a while. The crispy chicken tenders, Asian herb mix, crispy shallots, and green papaya dressing all had their own distinct flavors, but together they created a wrap that was incredibly balanced and satisfying. It felt like every ingredient was thoughtfully seasoned and intentionally paired. The biggest compliment I can give? I loved it so much that I went back a second time the same week. Definitely worth a visit.

Love me a chicken sandwich and Birdcall gained my fandom. Decided to stop at Birdcall on my way…read morehome on a Sunday afternoon. The stream of customers remained steady during my visit so it was pretty obvious there are more folks who feel the same. Ordering is simple where diners step up to a kiosk and place their order (dine in or to go) and watch the screen by the pick up window for when orders are ready. I went with the Nashville Hot and added an extra of Mike's Hot Honey. What a wonderful splurge that was! The chicken is tasty and the side coleslaw was good (not overly wet). Birdcall offers tea (highly recommend the mango), sodas and beer, and margaritas. The dining area is pretty spacious and was well maintained during my visit. The dining patio faces Hampden so it may get a little noisy from the traffic. The restaurant and its facilities are accessible friendly too.

Honestly, I don't understand the hype around this place. I've given this place a solid try by…read moreeating here twice. The first time I went and dined in with my boyfriend. He did actually like his sandwich. I can't remember the name, but it was the one with the pimento cheese. I got the Korean sandwich, and my sandwich was so soggy with sauce that the bun was falling apart and the breading on the chicken was not one bit crispy, but instead had a mushy texture and kept falling completely off the cutlet. The flavor of the sauce was just too salty with a little bit of sweet, but no real flavor profile other than that. When I get a fried chicken sandwich I want it to have some crunch. That's half the fun of eating fried chicken, in my opinion. The tots were ok, but nothing to write home about. I got one of the dirty sodas, which sounded good in theory, but I really didn't like it and ended up just throwing it away. My boyfriend got the house made strawberry lemonade and said it just tasted too tart. Upon trying it, I agreed. I'm the type of person who almost always gets lemonade if they make it in house, but did not have a high opinion of this one. He didn't end up finishing his drink either. Today we ordered take out from Birdcall for our whole family. My boyfriend was there to pick it up when it came out, and we live only 5 minutes up the street. This time was the same- my breading just keeps falling off the chicken, even though this time I got no sauce on my sandwich. That's super disappointing and makes it harder to eat. My son doesn't like the chicken tenders either and says they taste bad. I tried a piece, and I don't think it tastes bad, but it is definitely bland. All of the chicken seems a bit overcooked judging by the dark color of the breading that has gone a bit past the golden brown you expect with good fried chicken as well as the slightly rubbery texture of the chicken. My boyfriend ordered separately but picked up both our orders. He got home and said his Starry has no flavoring whatsoever. I tried my son's lemonade and it again is just kind of sour in flavor, with not enough sugar added. I thought maybe the first time we ate their they maybe just had their ratios off in that batch of lemonade, but I specifically didn't order it with my meal this time because of the experience last time. I guess my instincts were correct because this time it still wasn't good. Overall I just always end up wondering why I spent the money to eat at this place when the food and drinks are so lackluster. I'd sooner eat at Raising Cane's where the chicken is super crispy, tasty, and the breading stays intact, and they have delicious lemonade that they make in house. I will say that the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice enough and the bathrooms were clean. It was over air conditioned, but that tends to be the case whenever you eat at a restaurant in the summer. Either way, I still don't get the hype around this place, re: the reviews I read. If I were you, I'd skip this place.

Now I want to make this location my go-to. Its location is convenient. On north end of the charming South Pearl Street, it's an easy access from I-25. Everything is so walkable from there to other shops on the same street or even on the other side of the highway. After entering the restaurant, I noticed that there is/was a large menu on the the left wall right at the entrance so I took the time to peruse before I turned my attention to the ordering counter. And there, a young lady with a very warm smile was already standing there staring at me with a pleasant "Hi". What an attentive service that was! I am pretty familiar with their menu although I did ask her some questions to which she replied with the needed information. One of the questions I had was about one of the sauces (that they offer complimentarily for chicken meat) and it's called piri piri. As far as I can remember, she said it's tomato based with a little spiciness (it might contain some red peppers as well.) Chimichurri was simply too ordinary as that is what I always get so I decided to go out of my way to do something not so ordinary; I got to be a little adventurous. What I ended up getting me was 1/2 of dark chicken, a side of smashed cucumber slices (salad) and a side of mac and cheese. Once my food was packed and ready, a different worker (male) handed me my food. He was also very polite and cordial. I always appreciate their top-notch customer service. I was on my way to work my side hustle downtown so this meal was what I needed to consume before that job assignment. Once I got to my car, I opened my bag and immediately started my early dinner. The dark chicken meat was perfected moist. The red sauce I got gave it a nice kick to the whole enjoyment of the main. The smashed cucumber is light and refreshing with some tanginess to it. The mac and cheese (I believe) is a vegan dish (am I right) but whatever they use to make the typical mac and cheese taste is/was still there with no sacrifice. And get this, nothing (absolutely NOTHING) was oversalted. Lately, I have been encountering more and more restaurant where they season their dishes with too much salt which truly upset me. Chook's conscientious way to cooking all the dishes is what I can appreciate the most. And the quality of ingredients they use are almost guaranteed. This place is simply not for chicken or sub or salad lovers. If you want to spend a casual after 5pm time, they do serve quality beers, wines and cocktails on top of soft drinks. As much as I appreciate this restaurant, I am not sure if it is talked about amongst my foodie friends. My sincere hope is that they utilize your business as often as I do. You deserve so much appreciation and accolades from them.

The food came out quickly, servers were all smiles, but the store was not as clean as you'd expect with so many employees standing around with little to occupy them. Ice was all over the beverage machine, the Peach Tea dispenser was empty (and still empty 20 minutes later), the floor was crumby, and napkins and dropped menus were under tables. Our food was fine. I liked the lemon basil chicken salad, and the side of chicken tortilla soup, while very small (5 oz., maybe?) was tasty but certainly not close to hot. My dining companion ordered the bacon cheddar melt sandwich--oops, out of bacon, so he settled for a turkey club sandwich, which was fine. The side of macaroni and cheese (again, very small) was good. We liked the small buttery cookies, pickle spear, and crackers. Since there were so few diners, the restaurant wasn't noisy. I downloaded the app (25 free points) but not going to rush back.

She seems like a highly motivated businesswoman here in Denver, also doing things or hosting events at her locations. As a healthcare worker, I was exited to see her making moves doing pop ups at hospitals! Overall, we love the food here. It's easy, quick, yummy & light on your stomach for lunch! We like the buffalo quick chick also to use as a buffalo dip. It's a good way to add protein throughout your week. We come here every month at least. Lastly, I like how the owner hires younger women. It seems like she inspires a lot of high school girls to have people facing jobs. As a customer I can see the encouragement among the girls at this location to help with confidence and training for their futures. It seems like a very positive business model for the future generation of women in Denver!
