Seems like an average Chipotle. There is some parking on the side. The location is clean. The workers at the counter seemed nice. I cannot pinpoint exactly why the food doesn't taste up to par as it usually is, maybe it's because they're so busy. Of course I give chipotle a 5. I love all the meat choices and have always enjoyed the sofritas a lot! It's so good. I got that the last several times but today I went for barbacoa beef. I loved using my rewards for free guacamole and of course I got a bag of their delicious chips. Drink was watermelon lemonade and my meal was great! We traveled and this is the first time we tried this location. I ordered online so it will save my time. First, the rice is a little under cook. It's still a little hard. Second, all of the labels in the burrito bowls was wrong. I labeled it based on each bowl and all of the label mixed up. Great Chipotle location, and there was no line when we arrived at 11 am on a Friday. The staff is friendly and efficient and made our orders correctly. When my wife told them about her gluten allergy, they immediately changed gloves and wiped down the counter before making her food. Highly recommend this location, and we will be back the next time we're in the Flagstaff area. read more

Horrible Chipotle location. Every table was dirty with rice and bits of salsa. The trash can was overflowing. We wiped down our own table and then watched an employee finally come over to the trash can. We thought they would empty it, but instead they just punched down the trash with their fist and left it, with the rim covered in food bits. The order prep line where staff slide your order down to add your toppings was smeared with sour cream and cheese and not being wiped up. There were 6 employees behind the counter who all seemed apathetic. We got so disgusted we tossed our food and left. We did try to talk to the cashier to ask about the manager, and were told the manager was on the grill and busy. Never going back. read more

All the tables were dirty. We were sitting there a while because we have two small children, while we we're sitting there was a lot of people eating and leaving and none of the tables were cleaned. Other times my orders have always been messed up but when she is working my things are always there and correct. She seems the best the few who have amazing attention to details. This place has a drive thru. You have to order ahead of time and then you can pick it up in the drive thru. Except they don't make your order. I'm currently sitting in the parking lot and according to the app they haven't even started making it. And my estimated time to pick it up was 30 minutes ago. Management needs to be fired or employees do. This is the third time this has happened. Every time I have to go inside and they have to make it. Why is nobody looking at the stuff they orders? What's the point of even having a drive thru? If this place can't handle it they never should have put in a drive thru. There's not even anybody in this place. It's not busy. I love Chipotle, but corporate needs to shut this place down. There are only so many red flags I can let pass at a restaurant before I throw my food away and walk out. 1. Start with the bathroom; there was a major leak in the sink, and water was all over the floor. 2. There were no trash bins outside, and the inside bins were completely full with food spilling over the top. 3. 80% of tables were not wiped down and still have food bits on them. 4. The floor had napkins and food on it. 5. The serving containers had bits of other food; for instance, the sour cream bin had lots of corn, and the guacamole bin had lettuce. To top it all off, one of the cooks was blasting his Bluetooth speaker with trashy rap music over the usual "cool" vibe music that plays in the seating area. It was so loud it was hard to hear the cashier. It may have sounded good for the cook where he was, but from where we were in the restaurant, it sounded like noise. The food looked fresh, but with so many red flags, what other aspects are they neglecting? I've seen enough episodes of Kitchen Nightmares to be pretty confident the sanitary practices are probably not up to par. Me and my GF bought our food, and before we took one bite, we decided to walk out. We've both had food poisoning before and would rather burn $25 than to be sick for the rest of the week. read more

I've been coming to this restaurant since it opened in late May right after Covid, etc.. I watched them hire quite the staff but most seemed to fade away. You know.. nobody wants to work. There was also a credit card issue because of a technical issue that had nothing to do with the restaurant. Things have settled down and its a great place to eat. It's inexpensive and the food is great! They have a recent new manager who goes to the edge to please.. As this NEW restaurant settles down, it will deliver what everyone expects. I like the staff and come here quite a bit. I see the manager teaching the staff how to welcome guests and regulars.. Overall, for late 2022 and the world in a bit of a shambles, this store does a great job! PS It is easier to be nice to people, give people and staff the benefit of the doubt, etc.. ZERO STARS. First time Chipotle customer here. Tried to order the other day but almost EVERYTHING on the menu said "Unavailable." Today, many things still said "Unavailable," but I tried anyway. Ordered in the App. Paid for my food. Drove to get the food. "Angel," the self proclaimed "Manager," said the order was "not in the system" and that "there is nothing I can do about it." No apology, no, "I'm happy to make your order now," no offer to refund. He refused to do ANYTHING to remedy what is clearly a problem on their end. When I asked for a refund, he said, "Go online." I asked for something from him to prove they did not give me my order so I could get a refund from some stranger online. He closed the window and walked away. He came back later, still refused to provide me anything to prove I did not get my order, LOCKED the window and walked away again. Apparently, a middle-aged woman sitting in her car is so very threatening, he must lock the window (eye-roll). Here I am, calmly sitting in my car and he will do NOTHING to help me. Note to the owner of this store. I have called to file a police report for theft, and am waiting to hear back from the Flagstaff Police Department officer. I don't know how you picked this completely inept person to manage your restaurant, but I guarantee you will lose business if you keep him working for you. Perhaps train him to actually be remotely helpful and pleasant to a customer would be a start. I will certainly never be back to any Chipotle if this is how they treat a first time customer. Truly the WORST service EVER. *** UPDATE *** Spoke to a LOVELY person named Ashley at the WEST side location. She also offered me the name of the General Manager and took my phone number so he could call me to talk to me about this. I was very pleased with her help and decided to forego the police report. Tip for Chipotle... Start hiring WOMEN as your managers. The women I have spoken with are TRULY customer service oriented. Left a bad review a few months back and noted how management was not doing their jobs correctly. Lately however things have changed big time! No more weird mishaps and all the kinks have been smoothed out from initial opening. Workers are still as amazing as before and food is still great. Ok we LOVE Chipotle but DO NOT under any circumstances go to this restaurant!!! The first 30-60 days they were open (May-June 2022), they were cash only. Surprising in this day and age but the food was Chipotle-decent. Went there 2-3 weeks ago and they announced they had a "rice shortage ". Went to the west side Chipotle and they had plenty of rice (& everything else). Fast forward to tonight: the sign in the window said "Sorry no guac, steak or chicken". West side Chipotle ? No problem. Will NEVER go back to the east side Flagstaff Chipotle and STRONGLY recommend anyone reading this review to do the same ... smh read more
