The chips were incredibly greasy, with a noticable amount of grease in the to go box, and I don't think I would ever call that queso "cheese". Not worth the money at all. They screwed up my order and gave me the Korean Chicken burrito instead of the Spicoli burrito. Unfortunately I didn't find out until I was already back at my office. I called and told them and they processed a refund for the burrito and offered to replace it. I couldn't go back out as my lunch break had ended, so I ate as much of the chicken in the burrito as I could find, which wasn't much. I still want the Spicoli burrito, but don't know if I want to give them another shot.

The beans were the thick/smooth style topped with cheese and I would say just average so nothing special. I tasted the steak and Al pastor by them self to taste the meat before I put hot sauce on the tacos so I could see which one was better because one always is but not this time because they were both good. The steak taco with cilantro and onions was very good with seasoned steak and the corn tortillas stood out because they had a good corn flavor. The Al pastor was the same but with tasty pork. This Mexican food truck is unique because it also has breakfast items and some American items. I was going to get a couple tacos but something caught my eye on the menu that you don't really see on Mexican food trucks, chimichangas are on the menu so I ordered them at 2 for $8. My lunch took about 5 minutes and I was able to get one Asada and one Al pastor so they let you mix the meats. They looked good with a nice golden color to them. The asada was my first try and the meat was very moist with that hot melty cheese. The Al pastor was was also moist meat with melty cheese and everything a fresh chimichanga should be. To my surprise the meats had no fat or gristle and just tender moist meat with the Al pastor being my favorite. Overall the chimichangas were pretty good and hot to order with the flavors of the meat not being the best I have ever had because I have had tastier seasoned Asada and bigger flavor Al pastor but the fresh quality from a truck was what gets them the 4 stars and the fact that they are even on a truck menu at all.

The two different sauces were not hot at all and I didn't care for them compared to other Mexican places. The burrito tasted good but was not as meaty as other trucks I have tried. The reason for two stars was because of the fat and gristle in the meat which was was about every other bite and I ate the fat and pulled out the gristle. See my gristle picture which was the bigger pieces from just half of the burrito, I ate the smaller ones. This really turns off some people but I can deal with it with out completely giving them a bad review. Over all the street burrito was good and tasty but next time I will try another meat like chicken that would not have fat and gristle. This would have been a solid three stars if the burrito was a little more meaty and better trimmed.

We stopped in Friday night and had the fish taco dinner special--really good. Love the freshly made pico! Hubby got the enchiladas and he was pretty happy with his choice too! :-) Our server was great--friendly and on top of things. We're so glad Gabriel has his own spot now. Definitely rooting for him and we'll keep coming back!

I really enjoy finding good food trucks and I am glad this is in Oconomowoc daily. Gabriel and Rosa are the owners and are always very friendly. Everything is made to order, fairly fast and good proportions. I enjoy the Mexican style tacos (meat, onions and cilantro on a corn tortilla) over the American style, you can get both. The salsa verde is really good, pretty good kick and is very flavorful. Not sure what they add to that, but I've never had salsa verde like that. I get the steak tacos (Mexican style), my son usually opts for the ground beef. All fresh and made to order. They may be backed up with people and orders, so be patient if there are people ahead of you and it may take a bit of time to get your order but well worth it.
