I eat Chipotle 2-3 times a week and love it. First time at this location. This location is poorly run. My food was supposed to be ready at 7:50. Almost an hour late now (and still waiting) because they ran out of rice and are cooking more. Rice is cheap. Make a lot of it all the time. And while all your workers are standing around because there is no rice to complete the orders, have them clean up the place instead of staring at the rice cooker for 30 minutes. The place is filthy. We visited 20-25 mins after it opened in the morning and the food was from previous night. They shouldn't even open the store if they didn't have any items. Most of the items were unavailable and when asked about it I didn't get clear answer. When asked about fajitas they said we ran out of it at 11:10 in the morning!!! The rice was stale, guacamole was of brown color , there was watery salsa two bites.when I asked about guacamole and if they have freshly made in the back or are making it I was willing to wait, they said no. Guess what?! To top it all they just got fresh of everything made today as soon as my order was done. So does that mean I was served stale food for no reason? I was charged the full price though?! Today my online order was 35 minutes late beyond the promised time. The order did not have the guacamole I paid for, and to retaliate for me wanting a refund after waiting 30 minutes (which they refused to do, telling me to call the 1-800 number who took 16 minutes to give me a refund), the workers put hot sauce on my order instead of mild sauce. The worker who gave me my order and said, "Oh so very sorry for the wait," and I responded, "No, you're not," to which he responded, "No, I'm not." The restaurant was filthy on the serving counters. There were no forks in the to go bag nor were there forks on the counter in the restaurant. The line to eat in was almost out the door. There were at least four boys/men working at a glacial pace, taking time to chat rather than moving quickly. They were wise enough to be marking orders as picked up, but they weren't filled, so that they won't get hit by corporate for delays. Don't go here. Ever. read more

This may be my first Yelp review ever. If not, it is one of very few. But after coming to this Chipotle location many times I feel honor bound to warn my fellow diners of the absolute disaster this location is. I've never once come here without an issue. For example; one time I came in to order--"Sorry ,we are too busy for in store orders, you need to use the app. Currently there is an hour wait" Or the time I came in and asked for a burrito. "Sorry, we are out of burritos." Or my current visit where I purposely ordered ahead and scheduled a pickup time in advance in a futile attempt to avoid the madness only to arrive and have them say, "Sorry, we are behind. It will be another 30 mins before your order is ready. " So I decided to use my time wisely and put my wholehearted recommendation to avoid the Ithaca Chipotle at all costs. If it wasn't the only thing my vegetarian son ever wants to eat, I'd never come here again. But when your college kid pays any attention you just say, "Of course!" And finally, if you are driving, be careful. It's the most dangerous parking lot in Ithaca. Zero stars. Enjoy! read more

I don't know what's going on at this chipotle. This is the second time Iv visited and multiple issues. The staff blame it on being short staffed / Covid . There never seems to be a manager around to address issues. Both times that I have been here, I'm not the only one having issues or frustrated. I expected to wait in line but this line moves in reverse. There was 8 people in front of me and it took me 45min to get to the front. The staff look Miserable! They talk to you as if they are getting ready to go slit their wrists in the back. I wanted two steak bowls. The steak that the person tried to scoop me was very old and there was one scoop left, if that. The person tried to split it between both orders. So I said no thank you and asked how long for fresh steak. I was told 5min.... In the end, It was not 5 min. Fine, whatever. Then I get to the cashier and she tells me I can't have chips and guacamole because it's for online orders only! Your telling me I just waited 45 min and you can't give me a bag of chips! So I do what any normal person would do, I go online and order chips and salsa. I'm waiting for my steak anyways - might as well get my salsa. I'm fully committed at this point. Then I asked for the salad vinaigrette , it's the only thing that makes chipotle bowls worth this hour wait.... I can't even make this up, they are out of the vinaigrette!!!!!! Meanwhile the person next to me is also frustrated that they just waited in line and told they couldn't have chips either. The best part is that when I finally got home I had like 3chips in the bag and the guacamole was black and sour, couldn't even eat my guacamole. I found out after asking the counter what was causing a delay that they were only fulfilling orders for those that were there to ask. This further delayed my order to waiting nearly half an hour longer. I normally do not complain, but this was exceptionally terrible service. I've never been to a worse Chipotle. I've given this location several chances and each time is worse than the previous. My last experience involved an online order Saturday evening. Placed it at 5:45 with an estimated pick up time of 6:15. Arrived at 6:30 (because it's never on time) and they were 2 hours behind on online orders!! The orders they were making had promise times of 4:30 and 5:00. And yet people were still getting helped in line. On top of that, the entire restaurant was absolutely disgusting. Trash was on every table, the trash cans were overflowing, chips were scattered and crushed all over the floor. Adding to the chorus - this is the worst Chipotle. Seriously. I used to eat chipotle at least once a week when I lived in Syracuse (aka I'm a big fan) and was happy to see one in Ithaca when I moved here 3.5 years ago. I've tried ordering from this store maybe 15-20 times over the years, tried waiting in line vs ordering online, tried different times of day, and still each time is a new disaster. I finally gave up! The wait times are horrendous, and you usually don't get what you ordered anyway. 90+% of my orders didn't have chips, and most of them were missing something else too. When I've inquired about my order with the staff I've always been met with rudeness and weird excuses. Ex) After not receiving guac for several online orders (and never getting reimbursed for it!), I tried ordering through the line. When I asked for guac I was told they were out of it. I pointed at the guacamole right in front of us - "what's this?" I was like told that guac was for online orders only!!! What?! I've settled for ordering chipotle when I am visiting any other city other than Ithaca. You can't win with this place. Don't bother. read more

Check your food if you order online. They gave me the crap dried up bits of chicken and rice. We got two chicken bowls with tiny ity bits of chicken that were dry and crusty and broken down. The rice was broken and crunchy like the dried parts of the bottom of the pan. We barely got half the portion of chicken which I would have overlooked had the quality been better. I believe that they count on mobile orders grabbing and going so they unload the crap they wouldn't openly serve to the customers onsite. This establishment doesn't care. I put in a comment through their website so the owner/manager was made aware without having to leave a bad review but I was never even acknowledged, confirming they don't care.
