It's been a while since I've been to Chipotle. I came back when they first opened. It was not good but I figured it was because they were new. Wrong. It's like they try to be awful. I ordered a salad. It was a LOT smaller than I remember. Definitely still hungry after I finished. Some of the lettuce was wilted like it was previously frozen. My husbands carnita burrito had huge chunks of fat in it. He eventually had to open it up and pick it all out. My daughter's bowl had several items missing from it. What a mess. Lastly, the woman at check out had a real attitude. I think I'm done with this place. read more

My wife placed an online order for pickup. Estimated time for pickup was 7:30pm. It wasn't actually ready until 8:20pm. Luckily she checked the bag before leaving because they forgot the queso. Plenty of pissed off customers sitting around waiting for their food. Apparently someone was waiting for over an hour. At the same time. Staff was telling people they were out of carnitas, chicken, and so on. Looking at some of the recent reviews it seems to be a common issue. I'm not sure what they need to do to fix this issue, but what I do know is that I would hate to work here under these conditions. read more

This is our go-to Chipotle, and we visit often. We always try to order ahead because the restaurant is usually packed during lunch and dinner, but our order is almost never ready when it's supposed to be. At this point, it's actually faster to stand in line and order in person than to use the app. On our most recent visit, we stood near the pickup counter for several minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Unfortunately, this isn't an isolated incident--it's happened repeatedly over multiple visits. In addition, the restaurant has looked increasingly unkempt lately. The prep line has been covered with food debris, and there have been boxes of tortilla chips sitting on the floor. We enjoy Chipotle and would like to keep coming back, but the consistent delays and lack of cleanliness have made our recent experiences disappointing. read more

Not only have I been served undercooked rice, but the portions tend to be VERY stingy to point of the bowl being half full even after asking for extra portions. Ordered online and received email that food would be ready within 15 minutes, I get there for pick up and waited an hour. Bottomline, they need to get rid of online ordering with Uber, DoorDash and all the rest of these apps. I hate to say it, it's slowing their business down and they are always short on staff and they don't have enough help to do both services online and in person. read more

Would not recommend coming here for food. My husband and I waited almost 12-15 minutes in line and nobody didn't even acknowledge us or bother to ask us if we're ready to order. All they were worried about was replacing the bowls and scooping out whatever it was in the assembly area for food. I think at that point we seemed invisible to the employees. When my husband got irritated and decided to leave, he ask for a manager and the lady who he was trying to ask for a manager was the actual manager on duty. She just ignored him and gave him attitude. So we decided to go somewhere else for dinner. Fast food workers expect to get $15/hr but they can't even give great customer service?? Yeah... okay. Bland Food and Zero Energy from the Staff. The Chipotle at 4495 Roosevelt Blvd was a disappointment from the moment I walked in. The food had almost no flavor--everything tasted watered‑down and thrown together without any care. Even the items that usually carry some seasonings were flat and forgettable. The service didn't help the experience either. The employees looked completely uninterested in being there. No greeting, no energy, no effort to make the line move smoothly. It felt like everyone behind the counter was just going through the motions and hoping the shift would end. Between the flavorless food and the unenthusiastic staff, this location really missed the mark. I won't be returning ever. read more

I am a big fan of Chipotle and ended up at this particular location when I was in the northern part of Jacksonville on business. I have to say that I was a bit bewildered with all of these negative reviews. The service was friendly and the food was fresh. The place was clean. It was consistent with what I have had at other Chipotle locations. My go-to at Chipotle is their burrito bowl. I went with a chicken bowl and it was adequately loaded and again, the team were extremely friendly and outgoing. All in all, I am a big fan of Chipotle. For fast food, it is tasty and relatively healthy (especially when compared to the fast food burger chains). If you are looking for a quick meal that is relatively healthy and pretty good, I would definitely recommend this Chipotle. read more

This chipotle deserves zero star! They have a promotion for a boorito and if you have your costume and use your app your entree will be $6.00 . I went here after work super excited and I have 2 orders of bowl. As they were ringing me, the total was $25. I asked why is it $25 not $12 because they have the promotion and I was wearing my costume. The employee said because I added queso and guacamole on my order. The manager came and said the same thing because I was arguing that it did not say on the advertisement that it's just Regular order! And the manager said that's was the asterisk are for!!! LOL on the advertisement on the asterisk it doesn't describe anything about the regular order or special order. That's why this is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! I left because I will not pay them the money that I believe what they did was soooooo wrong! To the manager who I talked to, get your act together! I'm always hesitant when ordering Chipotle, I like to see them prepare my bowl because I'm one of those, "uhmm can you add a little more cheese" "can I get the sauce and lettuce on the side" type of people. But, we placed our orders added are additions and the delivery was quick and efficient. I have to stay away from the red sauce, it's spicy and I love spice but something about their sauce hurts my stomach. It would've been the perfect bowl if I would've opted out of the sauce. My friends bowl was perfect though and unfortunately it's best to leave the romaine off because it's so weird reheating it with wilted lettuce. 10/19 around 8 at night I went into the store and ordered a burrito bowl with Queso. The guy added the Queso then toppings but when I asked him to add a little more Queso on top of the cheese he said "I would have to charge you for double Queso." I responded that he only gave me a small amount which is why I asked for a little more. He told me that it was 2 ounces, as if he could eye the amount of Queso he gave me. When I got to the register I told the cashier I had points for a side of Queso and asked if it could be added to my bowl, before bagging it. She went and asked the same guy and he said he would not add the Queso to the bowl and would only serve on the side to add myself. When I asked to speak to a manager he said he was the GM. I told him cancel to cancel my order and return my points for the side of Queso. read more

The manager needs to be retrained in hospitality. I understand it is a very busy restaurant. I put the wrong time on my pick up order. I asked if it could be changed. He told me there were 4 orders ahead of me. So I waited and waited. After he made 7 orders he let me know that there were still 3 orders ahead of me. He blatantly pushed me aside for asking for an accommodation. I spoke to someone that I thought was the manager to find out HE was the manager. I told them to cancel my order and to refund my money. The lady I spoke with said I had to unfortunately process that they the app. My sister went inside to get the food that we waited over an hour to get. The "manager" handed her a bag that was actually for a different person named Stacy Q. Bad service. I will never go there again and I work for a company that is nationwide. You can bet that 60 + people a day will hear my complaint for at least a month if not longer. Bad move bad manager. read more

I actually like this location and the employees are very friendly. The parking lot is a good size and being right next to the stop light on Roosevelt makes it very easy to get in and out. During lunch the food is a bit more fresh as it seems to get quite a crowd. Even with a line I have never waited too long though. In the evenings the steak can get a little dried out but other than that I haven't had any issues at this location. It is always clean inside and I will continue to come back. read more

My Wife, Son & I Love this locaton. Being in the navy for long enough, You get to see many stores and different ways of doing things. This store hands down is the best at it all. They move at a great pace and give amazing customer service! My family would like to give a special shoutout to PRINCESS! She is the heart and soul of the that location. even fellow Navy people mention how she is just an amazing employee. She gives amazing customer service, Communicates well to her fellow employees and never ever ceases to bring the energy. I will wrap up by saying... This was the absolute worst customer service ever. There was this one sweet girl trying to service a huge line @7:30PM, i didn't get her name but she had blonde hair, and a great personality. She asked for assistance from other workers many times and they were out of sight somewhere in the back just hanging out. They eventually came to the front after 20 minutes of us waiting, i have worked in management for many years & i would have fired the entire staff except for the nice white girl with blonde hair who was slaying because none of the other people wanted to work. They were also out of EVERYTHING. They had no mild salsa, no guacamole & the meat was hardly any. When they made my burrito i probably got 5 slices of carne asada bc they were low. i've been to many chipotles and they always ate prepping food in the back in case they run out but there was no one in the kitchen, i was getting worried that no one except the blonde girl worked there, this poor girl, she needs a raise & someone to tell her that she's doing great. So my husband went in person and they gave him passive aggressive remarks saying that someone must have taken our food. He had to make them get the manager to look at the computer screen since they didn't have want to help. He sat there for 30 mins seeing them make the order. I live in Ortega so this Chipotle is 2 minutes from my house. I was so excited to no longer have to drive to Riverside when I craved Chipotle. Unfortunately, this location is just not up to par. I have been a few times and the service/food has just been okay. This last time I went, it was terrible. Granted, it was rush hour and dinner time so I understand the pressure and the place was packed when I went. However, the place was understaffed and not able to keep up. There were at least 5 people waiting for their mobile orders and I didn't get mine until 15 minutes after the "promised time". I got in the car, checked my bag, I was missing a bag of chips and a bottled water that I ordered so we had to go back in. While I was waiting, I saw three employees outside taking out the trash, while one was actively using a vape. I didn't realize you needed three employees to take out trash. Usually it is just one or two for safety reasons. One guy was pushing the cart of trash while the others just talked and vaped. Finally, the food tasted very off. The white rice had way too much lime in it to the point where it was very sour. And the chicken was about triple the amount of spicy it usually is. I have never had any problems with any Chipotle in Jacksonville so I was very disappointed and extra disappointed that I had a bad experience at this brand new location. I ordered a chicken bowl. It said that it would be ready by 11am. It was ready on time. I will give them that. BUT when I opened it up to eat it, there was so much water in the bottom of the container. I couldn't taste anything. So I tossed it in the trash and went somewhere else to get lunch. Let me start by saying I love a good steak bowl. This one was good but not great. What made this a 4 star meal instead of 3 was the guy prepping the food. I'm not sure if he is a psychic or what but he was on his game today. The steak is my favorite part of the bowl, he scoops it out looked at it for a second and went back and added more. Depends on who is working. Always check your to go bag. Mine has been wrong 3 of the last 4 times. It is impossible to get them on the phone. I had to drive back and wait for them to remake everything while they rolled their eyes. I don't want to give my money to people who make mistakes and treat me like I'm inconveniencing them. It's a shame because some people there are great. I don't know if I will ever be back at this point. Go to Moe's down the street instead. read more

I hardly ever have anything bad to say about chipotle but today I was pissed. There was no white rice, and no timeline as to when it would be ready. No big deal. Then there was no steak, and definitely no one cooking any (you can see the grills). I was definitely ticked at that point, but wherever, we opted for pollo asado. The man who was making my bowls must not have been having a good day, he was visibly upset and he was, for lack of better terms, THROWING the salsa, sour cream, etc, onto my bowl. Then he gave me the skimpiest portion of guacamole I've ever gotten at any chipotle. The man who rang me out was very pleasant thankfully. Aside from the horrible service, the pollo asado was very good, and everything was delicious as usual, but I will be thinking twice before returning to this particular location. read more
