I live within walking distance of this Chick-fil-A and used to appreciate the convenience, but over the last year, I've seen a noticeable decline in both product quality and portion size. I always order my fries without salt due to dietary reasons, yet my last few orders have come salted. That's a basic customization that shouldn't be overlooked, especially when it's consistently requested. Even more frustrating is the portioning: fries used to be served in full containers, but now it feels like they're being strategically stacked to give the illusion of a full order. During my recent order I received a medium fry that literally had five fries. I'm not someone who complains lightly. I contacted the Chick-fil-A Cares hotline and the store directly about these issues last year. I followed up for two months with no response. My wife and I come here in the mornings often to have breakfast on the way to work and we always have to get chairs off our table so we can sit down to eat. It doesn't make sense that this isn't part of the opening procedure before they open and not something that the customers are expected to do. Roosevelt Chic-fil-a is by far the worst chic-fil-a we ever been. I despised this location so much I stopped going here for months and I am actually okay with it. Unfortunately, this is the closest chic-fil-a where we live and to be honest I will rather go to Publix and get their chicken tenders than me going here. We had so much issues when we first started going here, one time we waited for almost 20 minutes in the drive thru and we asked why was our order taking a long time and they told us it's because we ordered a complicated order LOL. my husband ordered a chicken sandwich and maybe he just wanted something to remove or maybe to add on and that is not complicated at all. That is one of the issue we have with them. Parking here is bad just because this chic-fil-a is so busy. Food: I always go for the chicken noodle soup, it is good and I love that it is hot and the carrot is super soft. the fries always comes fresh and same as the chicken tenders. On my last visit I had a pleasant surprise. They mistakenly gave me someone else's order. The order was a bigger $$ than mine. When I called Chik-Fil-A they took my name & told me my meal will be waiting next time I visit. I did not believe it at first. The next time I visited I asked about it & they gave me my past order. A pleasant surprise. If you want a great tasting & fresh sandwich for lunch, for me, nothing beats the Grilled Chicken sandwich at Chik-Fil-A. Other favorites are the Chicken Noodle Soup & kale salad. The soup is thick with chicken pieces & noodles. The Kale salad with a light lemony taste is sooo good. Everything I've ordered have been satisfying and I keep coming back. There's no indoor dining just orders to go. The app is easy to use & you can accumulate points to redeem. It just magically pulls me in at times and after a rock solid workout this afternoon, it was time to treat myself. It sits in a great location on Roosevelt Blvd. Very easy to find with the can't miss tall sign out front. Every time I come here, the drive-thru is packed and backed up majorly. You think that would make things easier inside - NOT! Lines are not short very often in here. Many people who didn't want to wait at the drive thru come in and do take take-out. Now, on first appearance, there is nothing very spectacular about the interior of this fast-food outlet. It's basic in design - few taller tables and some of the basic four-seater tables. It also stood out that the floor had not been swept for hours. Here's where I became a victim! I was sitting on one of the shorter tables waiting for a taller one while waiting for my treat. Then, as I was getting up and pivoting to make my move, my left leg was shot blood red from an exploding ketchup package that a "courteous" customer left behind on the deck. It was a frustrating moment - but it was just a moment. I usually order the nuggets meal and get a frosted beverage. It was just fries and lemonade frosted today. It was terrific as always. So, what make Chick-Fil-A so special? Usually shops that appear unkept lose customers. Not here. The heart of Chick-Fil-A is about superb customer service and an excellent product. And even being closed on Sundays runs against the logic of a store being #3 in fast-food restaurant earnings. These are the things that keep people coming again and again - and I'll be back too! This review isn't about the food that this Chick-fil-A dishes up. (Though it is consistently good--always hot & fresh.) Rather, I want to note the service and vibe that this busy location exudes. I recently dined in and, as I finished my breakfast, couldn't help but make several observations. First, more than one smiling staff member passed by my table during my visit and asked how I was doing. Such a simple gesture, but so noted. There was also a uniformed police officer eating breakfast by himself and I saw another patron thank him for his service. It's no wonder Chick-fil-A is such a wildly successful fast food chain: when you put good energy and positivity out into the universe, I wholeheartedly believe it comes back to you ten-fold. Every other Chick-fil-A has the drive thru and customer service down pat, except THIS location. Finally they've gotten the drive thru a little in order, where mobile orders are on the outside and the drive thru is on the inside, that way the workers don't have to walk across the mobile line and wait for the traffic to clear to give guest their food. It wasn't the numerous times that I've gotten my food straight from the kitchen and the food is lukewarm, no. What really got me today, was the 8 count nugget I got. They really had the audacity to cut my 7th nugget in half to make two smaller nuggets. The customer service here if you eat inside is top notch. Clifford was our go-to guy and took care of our dining needs. I ordered the grilled chicken combo and my boy went with the spicy chicken combo. We both subbed out our side for the tortilla soup and chicken noodle soup, but still ordered two large fries as an afterthought. Gotta' have the waffle fries! The soups were really delicious, too. Unfortunately, they were out of the original BBQ Sauce which was very disappointing so Clifford suggested their Chick-fil-A Sauce instead. Wow. First time for me and now I have a second favorite. Definitively give it a try. Overall, exceptional experience at this location and it's a nice touch that they use real flowers for table decor. Yes I touched it. Oh and try the lemonade mixed with ice cream smoothie, but still order their original lemonade to share. They were out of regular sized cups so we were upgraded for free. Yay. P.S. Service is giving McDonalds energy at this location and although it's the closest to my home I will not be back. Oakleaf and Mandarin have much better service. I ordered 3 meals- one for myself and 2 for my children. The food was delivered in the drive thru line but they didn't bring any of our drinks for a $30 order then asked if we had drinks with our meal...then brought back the two peach lemonades and left the soft drink. I told them we still didn't have all of our drinks and was asked to pull up to the wait area where we waited 5 more minutes for A COKE!!! Eventually my daughter had to use the bathroom so we went in and I proceeded to speak with a manager about the wait. As I walked in the gay lead (an overweight Latino or Hawaiian) outside spotted me going in and asked someone in the window to make a Coke. How unprofessional...and I told this to the manager as I watched him do it while I was speaking with her. She said she would find out why and I told her I would like the answer after I take my daughter to the bathroom. When I came back to her she said they brought your soda to your truck. And I told her that's not what I asked her and why did I have to wait so long for it?! She sat there looking stupid and blank and I asked her do I not get anything for my family's inconvenience and she simply replied no. So I let her know I will be reviewing her establishment. Our order was not fully correct as conveyed to the next stop, the charged amount was correct. This resulted in our getting most if our order right away but waiting in line till all the cars in both lines were assisted and left. What held us up? A small half cut tea and an ice-cream cone. I have been a regular here for nearly 15 years. It used to be a great CFA. Always a bit on the busy side but nothing the staff couldn't handle. Ever since the remodel it has gotten progressively worse. The place is overflowing all the time. The drive through is a nightmare. I always use the mobile app and it would be helpful if more people did, but even that doesn't help if you're stuck waiting 30 minutes in the drive thru at an otherwise fast food place. Even using the mobile app where my order is exact and spelled out perfectly they are still getting wrong. I don't have that kind of time to be waiting so long for food only for it to be wrong and then my only recourse is to go inside or sit and wait again. Also seems to be too many "special days" making it way too crowded all the Dear Owner/ Operator: Please figure out what's going wrong with your location. Employees are obviously worn out from the constant barrage of cars and are getting it wrong all too often. It doesn't seem to matter what time of day I come it's ALWAYS ridiculously over crowded. I'm sure that's good for business but I'll take mine elsewhere if it can't be quick, reliable, hot, and worth my time. Update: Taking a star away from this location because dang! Even when ordering on the app where it is spelled out perfectly they are still leaving items out. People are still line jumping in the drive thru and nothing will ever be done about that. Whoever has left reviews about the food being correct and being hot obviously hasn't suffered multiple let downs. The last few times I have ordered here my food has been lukewarm and not worth going back to correct. Then the guy that took the order to my car almost threw the bag at me without, and didn't even bring my sauces, and when I asked for them he gave me an attitude and said "when when I get a chance i will". Last the lady that brought the sauces only brought 2!!!! We had ordered 7 nugget meals, we asked for more and we were told that that is the most the could give.
