Probably one of the worst Chipotles I have ever been to. Food: Extremely inconsistent. The first few times I came here, the chicken was dry and burnt. Most other times, the fajitas were burnt. Interior: It's always a mess in the story. Tables unwiped, and trash EVERYWHERE, which is why I always take my food to go. Staff: Not the most customer oriented staff. They always seem nonchalant about what they're doing, which shows when you get burnt food and the place looks a mess. They really need better training or something. read more

Ah, Methuen Chipotle, where to begin... The restaurant is filthy with food trash all over the seating area, tables, and floor, not to mention the floor and counters of the kitchen. Gross. The employees move at a snails pace. It took me ten minutes to get to the cash register and I was only three people back from ordering when I got in line, it's super slow. I'm pretty sure the guy spooning out the guacamole was trying to save some for himself at the end of the night or something. When he put just over a tablespoon of guacamole on my bowl I asked him if he could hit me harder, he refused, when I told him he was giving me way less than usual he responded "oops" with an attitude that wasn't appreciated. When I finally got to check out the employee disappeared, leaving a huge line of people waiting for almost five minutes to pay for their food. The guacamole grinch thought it was funny. At that point I left without food, or paying. This seems to be a recurring theme for Chipotle. I won't be going back. Especially with prices creeping towards $20 for a bowl with guacamole and the ever present risk of food poisoning. read more

I've been to many Mexican restaurants near the border and at Mexico. I have to say this chipotle does not deserve the title of Mexican restaurant what so ever. This place is simply just an American restaurant that outsources migrant labor. At the very least you could teach them the English words of the ingredients. Do not go to this place because it was the food, it wasn't gross or anything, it was the effects of the food that caused it, 2 hours after eating it l had a large gas that felt like l was about to poop but instead was a large fart that smelled bad, after a few hours l felt the urge to poop and when l looked at my poop, it was like a diarrhea texture, the next day in the morning l felt the same thing that happened on Sunday but worse; my gut was hurting because of the steak burrito and the chicken taco with guacamole and hot sauce that l ate and at the afternoon l started to get a fever above 100°f and it started to get worse, 101.3, 102.3, 103, 105.2 and 105.8. well, first and foremost, I went to the location that's in Methuen, which is always busy which I don't but the customer service was horrible. I was to do my order and it's not the first kid that ask you can I help you? What do you want you know down the kid the very first kid was very polite and I was asking you know to get a and then some tacos and then the other kid that comes around I don't remember his name, but kind of a short height a little bit more on the chubby side literally just grabbed the two without asking the other guy what was the order? other station to get the rice and back and says to me you have two. I said to him no I only have one bowl and tacos. He took my tacos, my tortillas and wrap them into a foil I said no diesel for my tacos and then complains to the other guy that he needs to communicate and I stepped in and said well, you need to give him time you didn't give him a chance to tell you what was the order. so basically I did not like my experience there and he response was oh we have a 15 minute window you know to get the orders in and out and I responded to him. I don't care about your 15 minutes. This is a food service you're not supposed to be rushing the customer to get their food There is no reason for that. So I will not be going back to that location or any location of chipotle ever again. read more

I placed an app order tonight for pickup, nothing complicated just a burrito, bowl and chips and queso. When I got to my car I checked the bag and realized I was missing the chips. i went back inside and was told that I didn't have chips "because they are out of chips". I then responded that no one advised me of that and was told "when you opened the bag and came back in I told you." There was no attempt to make it right or offer a refund or substitution. I just walked in there & ordered a chicken & cheese quesadilla. The girl put not a full scoop of chicken on it so I asked her if she could put a little more chicken on it? She then put 4 or 5 more little flakes on it, slides it down to the cheese girl who sprinkles a minimal amount of cheese on it. She proceeds to tell the cashier to ring up a double chicken quesadilla. I asked her if I heard her correctly & she says "yes, 2 scoops is a double quesadilla" (when there actually wasn't even 1 full scoop) I told her to keep it & walked out. I've eaten at Chipotle's all over the country and have never had as bad of an experience as I did at this location. Went to get burritos with my family after shopping at The Loop. They gave us the smallest scoops and when we asked for more, the woman seemed bothered by it. The place was also filthy. We asked them to clean off a table since the only two available were quite dirty. The four of us stood there holding our food (and a toddler) while waiting for someone to come wipe down a table. We waited for five minutes and nobody came so we ended up cleaning a table ourselves! 20 minutes later, someone came and cleaned the filthy table next to us but didn't bother cleaning the floor. This Chipotle is poorly managed and neither I or my family, who live about a mile away, will be back. We'd prefer to give our money to an establishment that respects and values their customers. read more

when i arrived, they said they ran out of white rice and it would take 10 min to come out. there were others waiting there for who knows how long. they did not have any brown rice available nor did it look like they were preparing any. they did not have chips available to in-restaurant customers, despite a full shelf of chips available to only take out orders. i asked the cashier if they ever have chips for in-restaurant customers because the last time i came it was the same situation and he told me no. mind you, there were so many people waiting for takeout/delivery orders. additionally, last weekend, my parents online order was cancelled three times, presumably because the driver was unable to wait so long for the food to be prepared. read more

Asked the girl taking orders the cost of the new Garlic Guajillo Steak since the price is not listed on the menu board. Received a very unfriendly "I don't know the prices" reply. Figured it was same a other steak since not specified only to find out it's 20% more than other steak. The steak was very dry and the employee making my tacos basically just laid 3 tortillas in the bottom of the bowl and dumped toppings on top. I order from this store at least 2 times a week. And every time I order from this location my order is wrong. Today out of 5 items, 3 were incorrect. One of the bowls was completely wrong, the kids meal was missing the chips and milk, and the burrito had no guac. My son started to eat the burrito and about half way he realized it had no guac, which I paid for. When I arrived back to the Methuen store, the manager Briana was anything but helpful. She was very rude and insinuated that I removed the kids items from the bag and said that because we had eat most of the burrito she wasn't doing anything to fix THEIR mistake. That I was trying to take advantage of the store and get extra food. All the times my order was incorrect I never came back to complain or replace it. But today was way too many items wrong or missing. Then I asked for the refund for the guac $2.25 and she said she could not do it. She only could give me a side of it. After her insulting insinuations, I left the store without my order. Either the wrong order, or the correct one. There was someone else inside the store that kept staring at me and seemed to want to fight and started arguing with me. I confronted him and Briana said that he did not work there.
