Sparky's is a great wings place. There are a variety of wings invluding the PB and J wings which are great. Their fries are great too.

Food is great. Convenient to order and quick. Ambience can really only be measured in negative stars. Not the place to stay and eat - although tables exist, this is really just a take-out or delivery place. Parking kinda sucks, too. But the parking on the whole street is awful in general. I'm not a wings kinda guy, but friends say they are awesome. Especially appreciated is the bewildering array of sauces available. The 'M80' Poppers are phenomenal, or so I'm told. Truly something for everyone. Only downer (and not worth dropping a star for is the fry grease. Sometimes the fries aren't crispy and often have a greasy taste to them. But the cheese sauce for the fries - Oh, My. But be careful, you can almost feel your coronary arteries solidifying... Open until 10PM, very convenient for late night game sessions. read more

I was recently introduced to this lovely little chicken place. I'm SO glad I was! My goal is to try every flavor! They have so many sauces for the wings and fingers, and so far they are ALL amazing! I highly recommend Flight of the Bumblebee, Shanghai Noon, and Terodactyl. Sublime was pretty good too! I always order online and it's delivered correctly and efficiently every time. The portions are huge and the food is always cooked fresh and delicious. The Cajun fries are super yummy too! This place is an iconic restaurant in Haverhill and has been around for a long time. The food here is amazing. Their chicken wings are never frozen which means they're never breaded. I would say they are gluten friendly - but if you have celiac just call ahead and ask whatever questions you need to, to make the best decision for you. So far I haven't had any issues with my gluten allergy. They have soooooooo many sauce options and the service is quick and kind. You can eat at this location or order to go. I normally get the wings but I've also had their bacon cheese fries and they were delicious. If you're around you should check them out. You won't be disappointed. read more

I grew up eating Sparky's. It used to be so good ! today I ordered it for the first time in a year and wow how it's changed. I'm not one for leaving reviews but I just wanted to show how disappointed I was. its like the grease was old, or it was refried. I don't know whats changed but there's no longer quality. I ordered three different types but the Tuscan was by far the worst one. And that used to be my favorite !! The breading was over fried or again, refried!!! I couldn't eat it. I bit one and spit it right out. The taste of old grease over powered the actual flavors. And it was so hard to bite, like it was fried and then they refried it just to warm it up. Rude service. Our order sat on the counter for 8 min before having to go back to the counter to ask for it. Neither the young woman nor the cook knew which sauce was on each set of wings. The young woman at the counter continued to ignore our requests and questions while attending to other patrons and phone orders. Don't be spooked by appearance - the flavor structure is decent. I particularly appreciate dry rubbed wings - which they have. I got lemon pepper and Cajun. If you're not into salty foods then you'll not like it here. They have a super vast selection of sauces and dry rubs...pretty beautiful choices. My issue is that their prices are a bit high. I mean...it's not Boston or NYC so chill. Let's strike up some specials will ya. There's not much difference between the 10 pc and 100 pc - you save a couple of pennies. Work experience ever at any establishment in Haverhill. Ordered some boneless wings via DoorDash and they were inedible. We actually got in the car and returned them to the place. We were told there was nothing they could do. The chicken tenders were the best they could get due to supply issues. I asked for a refund and was told to bring it up with DoorDash. Ummmm they didn't cook the nasty ass food! No apology, offer for replacement or anything. I informed the manger I would be leaving a review and he said "go ahead". Never ever again. read more

Absolutely awful! To start, I placed my order at 6pm and was notified by email that it would here by 7:30pm. I should have known then to cancel my order. I get another email at 6:57 saying the order has been pushed to 7:45. Sweet Lord. So I wait until 8:05 to call about my delivery. I spoke to a nice woman at Sparkys and she said the order is on its way, with a kind apology to boot! The food comes about 15 minutes later, the food was cold especially the fries which were inedible. I tried the wings and could only manage to eat 4 of my 10 wings before throwing it all away. The only flavoring that the chicken wings had was the coating on the outside, but the wings themselves had absolutely no taste. I highly recommend avoiding this place, especially if you're ordering delivery. They use ChowNow for delivery and it seems like they suck too. read more

I've been eating at Sparky's for quite some time. A few years actually. And I've always had a great experience. However, today I purchased my usual "healthy choice chicken sandwich with mayo" and when I received it, it appeared normally. I took a few bites and realized how rubbery and hard the texture of the chicken filet was. Which was quite unsettling. Not to mention it was only about half the size of the bun. These are problems I never usually run into. Assuming the staff would be understanding about this conflict, I was given immense amounts of attitude regarding the quality of the food. I was denied a partial refund and I was accused of eating "most of it" (refer to photo). They offered to remake it after going back and forth about whether or not enough was eaten which I said yes and then changed my mind after feeling disrespected. I was very polite about the whole situation and was not accommodated with the bare minimum of respect as a regular customer of this establishment. Work on your service and how you speak to customers who give you money. Things happen so take responsibility and make it a priority to take care of your clientele. And fix that chicken. read more

This evening some boneless tetradactyl wings were ordered using DoorDash. I got a 10 piece with extra blue cheese. I couldn't even finish 1 of em. I called and was told by the woman who answered the phone that it's a DoorDash problem not theirs. I packed everything up with the receipt and asked to speak to the manager and he tells me they can't get real chicken tenderloins and it is what it is. I said they're overcooked and tasted like cardboard. He did not care whatsoever. I left him with the food and receipt because they were not willing to do anything about the quality of the food they're selling. My friends Jamie and Andrea opened that restaurant years ago. I wish they never sold their place with their name on it. That used to be the best wing joint to go to, but due to the current ownership and customer service, I would not order from there again. Use at your own risk, and if you do, don't get the sorry excuse for boneless wings. Great place from start to finish. Walked in the door on a Friday night, and was immediately greeted by the owner at the counter. Told him it was my first time, and that I wanted to sample a few different wings. He then proceeded to give me a bunch of different sauce samples. After five or six samples, I picked out three. Chatted with the owner for a few minutes about the area before taking a seat with a beer to watch TV while waiting for my wings to arrive. As I sat I found myself really just taking in the action behind the counter. The owner clearly has great people skills - he was chatting with people on the phone and regulars as they came in the door. This guy gets it. A little about the menu - Wings came either bone in or boneless. Seemed like about 25 - 30 flavors to chose from. The menu offered lots of other options for people who aren't into wings. Nice beer selection (all bottles) Wings came out - they were great. I had PB+J, Firecracker, and Brushfire. All three were great, but I had a leaning towards both the PB+J and Firecracker. Wings came with macaroni salad, carrot sticks, celery, and some ranch dressing on the side. Prices seemed reasonable - especially seeing that all the sauces seemed to be made on premisses. Atmosphere - Clean, but a little messy / cluttered. There was some kind of display case next to the counter that seemed to served no purpose - I'm guessing it was meant to display the sauces and t-shirts, but it was pretty much empty when I looked at it. The trash barrel was also right next to the counter - seems like it would be better suited someplace else. Lastly, I liked t-shirts. I really liked the one on the wall of a chicken saying nervously... "What do you mean buffalo wings aren't made of buffalo?" I don't make it to Haverhill much, but this place is very much on my radar next time I'm in the area. read more

First off, any reviews downing this place should be immediately disregarded, don't expect a five star restaurant, it's a small New England style take out joint, they have an extended menu, but the place says "wings", which hands down are the best you're gonna find anywhere. They have bone in that area amazing, personally for me I go boneless all day, giant list of sauces, all amazing in their own right. PB&j a local favorite, don't judge, try it, firecracker for me! Plates to go have ranch or bleu cheese dip, mac salad, and some spice killing veg. Best take out chicken I've ever had. To those commenting on the owner or employees, I've personally never had issues with anyone in that business, they're all hard working, good people, providing an exceptional product. On a more personal note, if you're looking for vegan options, try not going somewhere with a giant chicken on the sign. Their game is chicken, not salad. What they do they do well. read more

I know you deliver but probably not this far. Frannie started my 50 cent Haverhill tour with this place and it was amazing! We split a wing sampler plate (we were pacing ourselves for the rest of the gastronomic tour) . We chose Jamaican me crazy , Hot Rod Buffalo (2nd degree hot) and Honey Garlic. Yum, yummier, yummiest! They were all good and, as I write this review, I am having a problem picking which one I liked best. It is like picking your favorite child - each is special in its own way. We always order take out so I can't speak to their delivery services. However, the last time we ordered we were told it would be 15 minutes and ended up having to wait 45. Which isn't a huge deal...If you're told it'll be 45 minutes. By far the best wings in Haverhill/surrounding area. A wide variety of options for sauces and pretty good sized wings as well. I'm from Buffalo NY area so take my wings seriously and these do not disappoint. Wish they offered pizza or something like that so on a pizza/wing night I didn't have to order from two places but it's well worth it.
