My manager used the group ordering for our team last Friday. The food was delivered hot, however they omitted one meal for a team member. My manager contacted them immediately and received the worst customer service I have ever seen. They point to the driver, the driver points to them. They would not honor the order and have one delivered, nor would they credit the cost of the meal back to his card. The only option was to come in tomorrow and we will give you one. This was my first experience with Chipotle and I did enjoy the food , but the customer service was appalling. read more

I will literally die before I step foot in this location again. It used to be my favorite, but twice now I have vomited up my overpriced burrito bowl within hours of leaving this facility. I still like chipotle grill, however they're getting really stingy with their meat. I ordered their tacos and the server barely put any meat on the tacos. She only put about a teaspoon of meat on the tacos, and loaded it with waaaaay too much rice and other toppings to compensate. The last time I went their which was a while back they usually added a about double. There might be some people that aren't really into meat anyways, and don't care either way, but I myself am a meat lover. Therefore I DO CARE!!!! Anytime I order any meal that features meat I like a nice portion of meat. Unless I order a salad or a vegetarian dish then I don't care. But chipotle is starting to become overrated. I may just stick with flamingos in Downtown south bend. I get more meat and good quality for less. read more

The young lady that assembled my burrito and burrito bowl tonight was an absolute all star. I ordered around 730 and she was very kind and efficient and just wanted to make sure she got some sort of recognition for her hard work. Everything was delicious and the fact that she changed gloves after handling a messy burrito before my own, as to not contaminate my order, made my day because unfortunately that's not always the case especially in this sort of fast paced environment. They will not have your orders ready on time. Allow for 30+ minutes. This part is not necessarily the workers fault as management won't shut down online so they can appropriately catch up. I was very frustrated having to wait, and one of the employees was kind and understanding of our wait. However a part that is their fault is they don't make veggies when it's busy. I asked a different employee on a different day and his response was "they take a long time so we don't always make them" there was no line. It was about 4:45pm. No veggies, which they need to just remove as an option since it's too inconvenient for them to make. This has consistently been an issue the past year. read more

THIS LOCATION IS GARBAGE...my wife and I love chipotle and give this location a chance every time because of convenience but no more. For one, everything is out, the place is a complete disaster and no one ever knows what's going on. Just tonight my wife was there picking up dinner and a girl literally passed out in line and they wouldn't even give her a damn chip and a cup of water without having to pay for it! On top of that the cleanliness is horrendous.. using their aprons to wipe the counters after they just wiped the sweat off their face.. it's comical really. Worst chipotle experience I've ever had. I got to the store and the line was to the door. I've seen this at other stores at busy times and figured it shouldn't take that long so decided to stick it out. 20 min in and I'm only half way through the line. I'm too far gone now. Can't just leave and have wasted all that time. Let's waste some more while my groceries get salmonella in the car. Also I have to keep standing with a very sore back, because....I work out and I broke my back. It wasn't spinal though so... Watching the back end operation made my "McDonald's crew member of the 90's" heart break. The lack of cohesion among the staff was painful. At one point, at about 30 min in line and about to begin my order there was no one at the counter! What appeared to be a manager came out yelling, "where's my line? Where's my line?" I'm like, "wherefore art thou Romeo...get your bloody crew together!" I finally began my order and had to keep myself from rolling my eyes to far back in my head so they wouldn't get stuck. "Hey I'm the customer! See me here with the wallet? Pay attention!!!!" Sigh. I miss good customer service. Hope it's just a location thing, and that I don't have to avoid chipotle's in every state. So yeah, never going back to this place and also chipotle's should pull a Starbucks and shut down for a day to train their staff. Free burritos don't matter if there is no customer service and the burritos have the salt content of the Dead Sea...I forgot to mention that part. I order online a lot at this location. The last two times, and other times as well, I have had to ask for dressing for my salad, even though I'd added it to the ingredients on my order. The last time, the girl doing the online orders asked me "oh! You want dressing for your salad?!" Uh, Hellooooo! It IS a salad. And yes, my order included that ingredient for my salad. Service at this location often seems slow. Meanwhile... the 40 cars in line at Chick-fil-A across the parking lot, gets through the drive through lickety split. I generally like Chipotle. However, I have to say that I have a burning dislike for the particular franchise located at Main and Douglas in Mishawaka. Here's why: literally every single time I have gone there (a poor decision made from extreme hunger) I have waited a ridiculously long time for my food. I don't know why these other reviewers seem to think the line zips right along. This Chipotle is orders of magnitude slower than any other I have been to. The reason? Even if you're first in line, the workers on the line are making 12 other burritos that have been called in before yours. And the backlog of burritos sometimes means that your burrito gets halted in the middle of the line, while your meat, beans, rice, etc. get cold. This might be an unreasonable gripe, but I have literally never had this experience at any other Chipotle, nor at any other Chipotle-esque restaurant (Qdoba, etc.). Just this location. I've asked friends and acquaintances, and they agree that this one franchise seems really slow. And this is not coming from a single bad time--most recently I waited quite a while, despite coming in for lunch at 2 pm. So, warning to all who feel a need to eat in a hurry: if you go to this Chipotle, expect to wait a while to get your food. read more

The second time was yesterday and I was really scared to try it again I got a burrito bowl and a burrito because I wanted to try both the chicken and the steak. I shouldn't have done it.... Who in their right mind goes to a restaurant on a Saturday night during prime time dinner hours? This crazy Yelper does! As we pull up, chipotle was bangin'! The line was extremely long, all the seating was taken, and people were still pulling up to get their fix. We step in line and didn't wait but 3 minutes to start our order. The staff they had tonight was a wonderful team. They worked hard, got the order correct, were friendly, not to mention speedy! The steak was tender and flavorful, the veggies were fresh and crisp. I think that chipotle has one of the best business models and food around, So i'll give a couple reasons why I didn't give this review 5 stars. 1. The place is very small and cramped. There seems to be seating for about 20 people , expanded to maybe 30 in the summer if you count outside seating. For a location that has this much traffic it's not enough! 2. The seats are the most uncomfortable chairs i've ever sat on. They poke you, They hurt your ass, They look IKEA inspired, but are just awful. I think it's a play on complaint #1, if your ass is killing you, you wont stay long. Too much stainless steel in the place too, some decorating wouldn't kill the vibe. 3. They often run out of items, and the staff is more interested in scraping out the bottom of the salsa container then getting you the standard amount. I get the feeling that most of the staff hates working there in general. 4. For a place that seems to be leaning twords the "hip-trendy" crowd, why don't they have shrimp as a food option? or healthy items such as low fat sour cream, whole wheat tortillas? Seems like it would fit perfectly with there organic-hormone free meals..... thats my review. most of the time the food is fantastic and priced pretty fairly. Someone started making my tacos and then let them sit there for 10 minutes, yes TEN, while they slowly helped people around me ... most of which came up after I was standing there waiting with 1/2 made tacos. Chipotle food is always good, but this particular location was very disappointing for other reasons on my visit. First, they were VERY skimpy on rice/beans/veggies. When I asked for extra the server looked at me with a disgusted look and proceeded to give me a dab more, which still wouldn't have equaled a NORMAL serving at other Chipotles. Then, they were out of hot salsa, which is what I wanted. The server didn't even give me the option to wait until the made more. Just said, sorry and asked if I wanted anything else. Instead of waiting it out I just wanted to get out. Again, food was good, but it always is. As for this location, I will not return, and will go to a different one. read more

I would like to share my experience with the Mishawaka store that I frequent. Last night I went into Chipotle with high hopes, as usual. I was let down last night, tremendously. I ordered my usual bowl with a bag of chips and salsa on the side. Only to get home and find out they shorted me my chips- but managed to put a few salsa's of no use in my bag. Nearing the end of my bowl I take my last bite- only to feel a sharp poke at the roof of my mouth. I was mortified so I spit my food out immediately. When I looked at what I had taken it, it was a shard of bone with meat STILL attached, in stringy form. (Gross!) I've always had a good experience, minus wait time and the occasional bad customer service but I've never complained. Until now! I called the manager to alert her of what she was serving, and she handled herself very well. But I'm here to tell you I deserve more than a "free" meal for my shard of bone. I'm lucky I didn't choke on it or it didn't go through the roof of my mouth. I had to share my experience, I'm extremely disappointed with Chipotle. read more

Chipotle, how I love thee. I eat here almost weekly and I never get tired of it. It's so amazing to eat burritos that have FLAVOR and to have salsa options besides "bland" and "blander" here in Indiana. I love the homemade chips and guac, and the Burrito Bol with chicken. My only gripe is that the seating area is comparatively tiny and it can get slam-packed during lunch and dinner hours. Come on...who builds a restaurant in Indiana and puts half of the seating outdoors where it can't be used for 6 months of the year? Summertime is better for getting a seat due to the absence of ND undergrads and the outdoor tables not being covered in snow. I hear they're putting a new Chipotle in across the street from ND, so hopefully that will help relieve the overcrowding somewhat. read more

I don't have any problems with this location. The food seems to be produced at the same pace as all other Chipotle's. Love the barbacoa with extra veggies. Lately I've been on a burrito bowl kick and ordering a large order of chips to use to eat it. I also recommend the smokey tabasco sauce they have near the pop machine. I will agree with others that the seating area is small. If they're crowded, it's going to take a while to find a place to sit but it just gives more time for the burrito to marinate in the foil and get the cheese extra gooey...what's wrong with that? read more

Had this delivered to our house and it was terrible! I decided to order chipotle because I saw there commercial for the new quesadillas and they looked so fresh and full of meat and cheese that I was excited. I also ordered guacamole and chips. The quesadillas barely had any meat or cheese on them and the flavor was bland. The worst part was the guacamole, it was so bland! No salt, no lime juice, it was bad. All of this cost an upward of 50 bucks so it was a complete waste of money. Anyway I wouldn't suggest going and wasting your time unless you like wasting your money. This location is terrible. Crusty containers and filthy counters. Overflowing trash. There were plenty of staff working so I don't think that has to do with it. The worker scraped the bottom of the rice bin and put about 3 tbsp of crusty rice in my bowl while more rice was being prepared. I had to ask him to take out the crusty rice and just wait for the fresh batch. They wouldn't let you get chips unless you ordered online. So I said okay I'll pay for this food then if I order the chips online I can get them? The cashier said yes. Then someone in the to go area yelled over no and to not tell people that. They were out of several ingredients and the pop machine needed certain drinks changed over because they were out at the fountain.
