This particular Chipotle Mexican Grill location is in the same shopping plaza as the Target and is next to the T-Mobile and Taziki's. Pulling in, parking was not an issue, which is always a good thing. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff here are extremely friendly, but, at least on this visit, they only had like three proteins left and nothing was on the grill cooking. This was at close to four o'clock on a Sunday. They were also out of spoons and half the napkin dispensers were empty, as well. Again, I hope this was an anomaly. The ambiance was what you would expect from a Chipotle Mexican Grill. The team put a good amount of food in my bowl. Despite half the proteins missing, I will still give it five stars in the hopes that that is not the norm. read more

Food is overall decent. They need to let the beans drain before they add them to your burrito. Customer service is down in a bad way. This location has great customer service i stay an hour away and when I'm in the area I stop at this location versus the location closer to home. If I'm paying a nice penny for food I expect my bowl to look decent and they get the job done. I eat here one a week and I've never been dissatisfied. This location unlike other locations has lots of inside space and outside seating as well. The place is clean and the staff sitting in their ability to meets my needs of satisfaction. Well, the food is edible, but I wouldn't buy it again. Not a big fan of the sofritas seasoning, especially when it's combined with cilantro from the pico de gallo (I'm vegan, so the sofritas was the only plant based protein option, unless you count the beans). The chips are mediocre - too thick and lacking in flavor. The guacamole side came as a bonus for me trying this restaurant for the first time, and although it was very fresh, they could have chopped up the whole cilantro leaves before adding them into the mix. As for the ambience, it was good if you're looking for a restaurant that's packed to the gills with diners. A sports team and what seems like all their family members decided to get food right when it was time for me to pick up my to go order. It was standing room only and I had to yell for the cashier to even hear me. The cashier also never spoke, or if they did, it was drowned out by the cacophony of the sports team. The service was fine. There wasn't a long line at the restaurant at the time. I ordered a sofritas bowl and asked if they had fresh sofritas. The worker told me 5 minutes but she still made the bowl with the bottom of the barrel sofritas there. Then I asked for chips and guac but only got guac and had to ask again for the chips. To start the service is awful. They say they don't have enough workers so they lock the doors and tell everyone to make online orders. Then 15-20 people stand outside waiting for their food and no one gets anything until 30 minutes later. A lot of the food had been dropped into other containers. The floor around the entire facility was covered in trash and there was not a single table without food on it. The drink area was terrible. The counter was sticky, there were no straws and there were lids scattered everywhere. There was ice on the floor and piled on the machine. This was the most disappointing Chipotle experience ever. I can usually count on Chipotle to offer a pretty consistent experience no matter where you are. We arrived around 7:40p and decided to hang out on the patio and order via the app as opposed to waiting in the long line. We submitted our order around 7:45p with a promised pickup time of 8:00p. By 8:05p we went to check on the order which they had not started working on yet. Our order was not ready until 8:15 p. We could have gone through the line 2 or 3 times by then. When I checked my daughter's build your own tacos meal one of the shells was broken. I went up to ask for another one and they stated they were out of tacos and offered no additional options. I ordered chips and guacamole. My bag of chips were very overcooked. We asked for a replacement. Admittedly the second bag was much better. This used to be my goto pre pandemic, but I guess things have changed. I arrived about 5 minutes before my order ready time. Went to the lettered shelves for orders and my order was not there, no biggie I'm early. Waited because I understand that hey I'm early, 15 minutes later still no order and not even an acknowledgement of can I help you. After 20 minutes I was asked did you have an online order, i said yes but its not here. She asked my name and said it should be out there, I told here nothing was under my letter and she said they are not in any order that doesn't matter they are just placed out there, well if the letters don't matter why are they their, good grief. I found my order in the A section, said well the letters don't matter huh, was actually told no we just put them out. So after about 20 minutes or so I could have ordered at the counter and been gone, I grab my order and leave. I get home and of course my food is cold now so I guess it was ready on time I just couldn't get it on time and of course I'm in trouble for taking so long and letting the food letting the food get cold. Probably wont be using the mobile app again if this is the experience I should expect. Unfortunately they are the only option in the city so I will probably eat in again. read more

As we often travel, Chipotle is always an easy go-to place that we know we will get good, quality food. Therefore, when we drove into Montgomery, we figured that it would be good place to stop in and grab lunch. Out of all the times we have eaten at Chipotles around the country (which is A LOT), we have NEVER had such a terrible experience. The majority of the food items (meats, toppings, etc.) were empty, even though they had just recently opened, since it was 11:25 in the morning. The worker barely scooped any of each item into our meal. Like aforementioned, we eat at Chipotle A LOT, so we know this is not the normal serving size. There were four of us in our party. Two of us ordered chicken quesadillas, one children's quesadilla, and a pork bowl. All three of us that had chicken felt that the chicken tasted extremely odd. As we continued eating, we realized that the chicken had many steak pieces mixed in. Neither of which tasted normal. It almost tasted as if it had been sitting there overnight. I was only able to eat half of my quesadilla before having to run to the restroom to throw up. The others in my party didn't get sick, thankfully, but were unable to finish their food because the taste was so bad. As people who frequent Chipotle multiple times a week, we have always been extremely pleased with our meals. However, I can easily say that we will NEVER step foot in this location, again. read more

We ordered burritos and they were rolled horribly...to the point that all the ingredients were falling out and it was impossible to eat them. So we went back inside and explained the situation and asked if we could have another tortilla each so we could re-roll our burritos. This place hasn't even been open a month but it's ridiculously busy! I had to dock a star because I don't think the place is managed with enough staff to handle the amount of customers going through. We had to wait at least 20 minutes just to get our food. I think if they had at least 1 more person working the food line, the speed would've picked up significantly. You can tell the inexperience of the workers by how horribly they wrap burritos. The dude the other day didn't even roll it in the proper orientation so all the food ingredients weren't available with each bite. You know what I mean? Like all the meat upon first bite, then lettuce, then salsa...etc. I'm sure he'll get it right after wrapping 1000 more burritos. I usually order a whole bunch of stuff so wrapping my orders usually requires some skills and experience. The store was also poorly bussed. I didn't recall seeing a single worker bus any of the tables or keep the beverage area clean during the dinner time that we were here. They were all furiously trying to churn out food. Again, staffing will be key during these first few months, but I won't dock an extra point just yet. Anyway, for the first Chipotle to FINALLY open up in Montgomery, this is pretty huge. Attitude of the server last time I went was terrible. I asked for vegetables on my bowl and she says "that's all we have" which was about 2 peppers. Got large quacamole and the other lady seemed irritated that I wanted chips with that.
