Got large quacamole and the other lady seemed irritated that I wanted chips with that. When I asked the other lady who seemed like a manager why they were serving brown lettuce she said oh I'm sorry went in the back for a while. She switched out some pans and still no lettuce. She said sorry our bad, that's on us and then proceeded to charge me $20 for my food that is no good to me now. The young girl game me a half filled container of quac for full price. Neither one could be bothered to wipe the guacamole that was outside the bowl off. Just stuck it in the bag. There are actually companies that appreciate business especially now. Worst chipotle experience I've ever had and I've been a loyal Chipotle customer since 2002. Upon entering an empty restaurant immediately noticed that all the tables and the floor were dirty and covered in food. The two hand sanitizer stations were empty. The kids meals I ordered were prepared incorrectly (no sides, no fruit) and I was overcharged for two of them. All of the meat was burning as it had clearly been sitting out a long time. When the cashier (who was very nice) pulled out our tray it was covered in food which was appalling. I should have walked out then. The food was inedible for my kids due to the excessive spice. All three of them effective could only stomach the rice and lettuce. The chicken and pinto beans tasted like I was eating at a Popeyes. My 1-year had food poisoning last night and her crib was covered in cilantro rice. If you value your money or more importantly your health I would stay away. Complete disregard of sanitation and pride in this sad excuse for a Chipotle. The next Chipotle food scare will be at this place. read more

It is always good to know that there is a Chipotle nearby. When I walked into this one, I was surprised because I am used to Chiptotle having lines out the door. This one was empty on a Saturday. What stood out for me was the fact that there was no tofu :-( It's not even on the menu. When I asked the male worker with locks about the tofu, he stated that it's only "up North". Then, he asked, "Are you getting anything?" Well, damn, I hate to be rushed, so I ordered the veggie bowl and left. Although the food was good, I hate the fact that there wasn't tofu on the menu. I decided to order a Chipotle Burrito Bowl today and was excited to pick up my meal. However, I was extremely disappointed when I opened my bowl. There was barely any rice, steak, or lettuce. This is one of my favorite restaurants in California, so I was excited to see one while visiting the South. However, I was disappointed with the selections on the line to choose from. They were out of grilled peppers/onions, and no corn. The staff was not rude but did not give me the impression that they enjoyed their job. First off the male staff that had braids (long) he kept messing with them while standing in the area by the food line while asking another staff if we had ordered. I didn't say anything as I was waiting to see if he was going to wash his hands. He puts on the hat that does not fit around the braids, then he proceeds to wash his hands. The food was good, but as I was eating I looked up and notice the staff with the braids was still messing with his hair. It was just a turn off for me. So disappointed. Especially when I love chipotle. I asked for a chicken bowl with shredded lettuce. The chicken was cold and the worker literally gave me 4 pieces of shredded lettuce. I don't think it was unreasonable for me to ask for more but because it required the worker to go to the back and get a new batch of lettuce, she slammed the cover on the counter and sighed in disbelief. Like at some Subway's, some shout it out and are super cheery to make your sandwich, others, mumble it and hate putting your sandwich together. Chipotle isn't nearly that bad but they certainly aren't thrilled to be making your burrito or burrito bowl. Atmosphere- why are you getting 4 stars? Noise. We can't take our baby with us on date night here because it is just so noisy in there. From last I remember the the music was too loud, and overall just the noise is very loud. Like in the Genghis Grill it has a very high roof with very little noise absorbing materials. However, the atmosphere is also kind of neat because it is a very modern place. Very neat little place. Neat little noisy place, that is. However noisy it is, if you're lucky you can sit outside on a cool summer night. Very nice :)! We were glad to see Chipotle come to town - until we ate there. Over half a dozen visits, the main thing we noticed was how stingy they are on ingredients. Unlike a nearby competitor, which always gives a generous serving of everything, this Chipotle limits a soft taco to 6 little chunks of chicken and no more than 3 fried onions. We liked the flavor enough to come back a few more times, but yesterday's visit guaranteed we'll never eat here again. The kitchen was FULL of flies. They were on all of the meats, the rice, the vegetables, the tortillas. The staff stood behind the counter and watched them. This particular Chipotle gives heaping portions. The only concern I have is the taste of the food isn't consistent. I went one time and the corn basically blasted salt water into your mouth with every bite. During busy hours, the workers don't really seem to care about the job and their serving area gets messy as well as the way they prepare your food. I once had a lady take the corn bucket out and dump 2 heaping spoonfuls of corn & juice onto my bowl and then a ladle full of sour cream. It was gross. read more

Customer service: Poor, Wait time: long, service is slow, very unprofessional and inexperienced staff members, compared to other chipotle's I have been too. The staff seems like they don't know how to correct orders that they make mistakes on, they look very messy and disorganized when bringing out food to refill or cook. I walked in there one day ready to order and I was the only one in line, and the staff member literally ignored me not knowing what to do. So I stood there waiting for anyone out of the other 5 staff members hanging out in the back to take my order. A male staff member came a couple minutes later because he saw me standing there and another person had walked in through the entrance to order food. The only reason why I rate this place 1 star is because I like the food. If there was another chipotle nearby in Montgomery that has better customer service and don't ignore customer entering through their doors, believe me I would go there without hesitating. Either get a more experienced shift manager and/or retrain the whole entire staff on how actual customer service should be done. read more

Yeah, Chipotle! I live in Hawaii and haven't seen you for over two years! Was thriled to hear they were opening a franchise right here in Montgomery. Went here for lunch today with a group of 12. They were aleady busy and we took their line out the door. The wait wasn't horrible, maybe 15-20 minutes, and we actually got a full table for ourselves. I got the chicken burrito and it was just as good as I remembered it. Kudos to their guacamole as well! Once they settle down and train up more staff, they're going to have a booming business! I waited to write this review because I knew that when this Chipotle opened up, the staff was mostly from out of town, and so the customer service was not what could be expected once the place had been established. Now that we're several months in, it is safe to say that at least most of the staff is indeed local. Those of you who have lived around here any amount of time can probably deduce what exactly that means, and can therefore guess at the level of customer service that can be expected now. Specifically, there was one female behind the counter who seemed like she could barely contain her contempt for... I don't know what: having a job? Serving customers? I don't know what the attitude is for, but it's nothing new down here. Based on other reviews, it's clear to see that this Chipotle is already going downhill, which is too darn bad, because I was really, really excited to see one open up down here. Love Chipotle Grille but what I saw yesterday may make me rethink my decision. Went in around 2:40, got my meal, not super busy, so young white guy went to chopping veggies at chopping station on the side but in full view of where I was sitting. He had on gloves. The phone rang, he picked up the phone, answered it and handed it to someone else to talk, then went right back to chopping veggies with the same hand and glove. He did not change gloves after answering the phone. Pretty sure that is a health no-no. If he hasn't been trained to use clean gloves when handling food, what else was he not trained in? Or was he just lazy? I then started watching closer and actually saw several people do similar things without changing gloves. Those gloves are not to use all day! If you touch something other than raw food, you're supposed to change them!!! Ugh!!! read more
