Worst chipotle I've ever been to. Always a mess and out of something. Went in at 7pm and got two bowls. Nearly out of beans, gave each bowl like five beans and then out of lettuce, each bow got about one leaf of lettuce. Sour cream all over the side of the bowl, dude making it looks like he was wet from a pool with sweat. I get it, I've worked in kitchens but that's fucking disgusting. Then try and oh I can't have chips because "people online need them and we are low". I said, I'm literally here with money and those are chips... no dice. What a joke. I go there to get some food and a drink so I don't pass out, after working all day in the heat. No one in the store and it still takes 20 minutes to serve me. So I get my order and they take the person behind me. I checkout. Drinks are warm, the fridge is down. Ok that's fine I'll put some ice with it. Ice machine is down, they failed to tell me that so I bought a warm drink. No utensils whatsoever, wish they told me that before I ordered a bowl. Took 20 min for the employee to make 2 identical burritos for customer in front of me. This is at 3pm with no one else. 6 other employees are goofing off. He looked unsure and confused and apprehensive of making the burrittos. He was slow as molasses and hesitated grabbing ingredients. Truly the worst location. Ordered online via the app. Showed up 30 minutes after the requested time because food is never ready on time. When I showed up, they said the order wasn't in their system. I showed them the electronic confirmation on my phone. My credit card had been charged. They said well it wasn't in their system. Offered no solution. I had to demand they make the order. They made me stand in line with 10 other people in front even though it was their computer's error. The manager had no idea how to handle this glitch other than make me wait another 20 minutes - the order was over 60 minutes late. Will never return. Wish I could post with 0 stars. They don't deserve even one star. While the computer glitch wasn't their fault, the inability to figure out how to make it right was. read more

I was once a employee at this restaurant and would like to give everyone a little insight to everything basically the scoop from the inside. For our online orders after covid had hit we get over 300-400 orders every lunch rush. It's not impossible to get the orders correct I know that, but you also gotta see it from our point of view. We as a whole are going as fast as we can to make the food and package it as fast as possible. It's hard for us as workers to get by everyone or tell them their order times due to the fact is that we're going as fast as we humanly can. While I was working there a lot of staff would get sick and call out or get exposed to people with covid. Limited staffing was the big issue next to all the door dashers taking the wrong orders, college kids stealing them or that someone with the same name as them took the wrong one. I loved working with most of the staff and still keep in contact with them. We are in a pandemic and can't control how many orders or who's orders are where we only make them, bag them and set them out on the tables it's the customers responsibility to be there on time. I would always get mad when someone would show up an hour late or would say that their order isn't done but was right on the table. Trust me we don't like messing up and dealing with rude customers let alone want anyone to be upset. With all these negative comments about them is, in a sense, rude. I hope that this kinda helps with anyone who has or will be going there please be patient with the workers we are in a pandemic only getting paid minimum wage and some of them are getting paid less. I'm not a huge fan of Chipotle in general, but was a little extra disappointed in this one today. As far as their food, it isn't my total fave, but still ok, not disgusting or anything. The service today was ridiculous. The guy making the burrito- nice I guess but a little disinterested. When he was done, he put it near the register and went to help the next person. The cashier appeared from the dining room...and walked past me. She went into the kitchen, came back out and...walked past me. My friends at this point are sitting down and waiting for me. She finally came back, asked me what I had and started to hesitantly push buttons on the register. When I tried to give her my money, she asked me to hold on. I asked if a card would be easier, because I was sure my friends' food was getting cold. She called over another gal and explained in Portuguese that her register code wasn't working. (Word to the wise, don't talk in another language in front of customers. You never know if they speak the language.) Now, I will admit, I started to get pissy. Seriously, we are talking about almost 5 minutes at this time. The other girl now feels that she needs to recap my order and in doing so, grabs my cup with her hand all inside it. Um, no. I want a new cup. And I want to eat. Now please. I have money. Please take it. I just want to sit with my friends. After all this, I got my burrito and enjoyed it more than I expected to. Unhygienic, unprofessional, clumsy and not a vegetarian friendly franchise of Chipotle. While serving veggie fajitas, the server dropped few pieces of veggies in pork and she took out the veggies using the same spoon and put it in my veggie bowl. I just visited this location for the first time and had intended to write a review that it would have been better to order online so I wouldn't have had to interact with the rude and unprofessional staff, but after reading the reviews it seems that ordering online might have been even more of a train wreck. Seeing the frequency of similar issues in the reviews leads me to believe that management is at fault. I gave 2 starts because that got my order right and there was nothing wrong with the food or the place in general. it's clean & not gross- just what you'd expect from a normal, everyday Chipotle. But... the online ordering system is a MESS. this is specific to this location, as I regularly order through the app at a different location closer to my house and I've never had an issue. But this location is closer to the company I work at, so I go to this one when I'm on my lunch break. I ordered my food around 11:50am and the app said it would be ready by 12:15pm. I arrived around 12:20 and my food wasn't ready... then 12:25 rolled around... then 12:30... then 12:35... 12:40... and I finally received my food around 12:45, which is /half an hour/ after I expected it to be ready. I should mention that I only received my food at this time because managed to get an employee's attention and ask them to make my order- they hadn't even started it yet and it was due half an hour ago! There were people who walked in after me and they had gotten their food and were on their way long before the employees had even begun to think about preparing my order. I only have an hour for lunch and it really sucks to have to practically inhale a burrito bowl that I paid like $9.00 for because I don't have time to eat it. This was the 2nd time I've ordered on the app and this exact thing happened, so I know it wasn't just a bad day for the employees. I talked to a few other people who were also waiting for online orders and they expressed they were in similar situations as I was. In summary: It's a regular old Chipotle, but if you're in a rush, do NOT order on the app. Just wait in line. The line might be out the door but you will DEFINITELY get your food faster if you order the old fashioned way. read more

This place is ridiculous. We order take out occasionally because the kids love it. 90% of the time the order is incorrect. Not a complicated order because it's children's chicken quesadilla. Usually missing the chicken and/or the sides. Forget about getting a bowl correct. We use the app to report the issue and get $1 refund? I can't understand what the issue reports are used for because this continues to be an problem at this location. Where is the QC? I'd like to start by saying this is not a critique off he quality of food here. If I were to write a review about the food it would be overwhelmingly positive because I am a big fan of the Chipotle franchise. And I know what to expect from a Chipotle. To start, my burrito was wrapped so poorly it felt like an oversized taco in my hand. Usually at Chipotle a rewrap is offered after a bad wrap, but at this location the abysmal wrap apparently did not warrant this courtesy. Another thing I've come to expect at Chipotle is salsa being offered with my chips but did not receive any salsa with my chips. This didn't matter too much after I had to unwrap my burrito and poor the contents into my basket then shovel the innards of the burrito into my mouth with the chips. The problem with this scenario was the lack of chips I found in my bag. Not nearly enough to finish up my mess of a burrito. Again I really do enjoy the food at Chipotle I just will not be returning to this location even though it is the closest location to me. read more

Mehhhhh. It's Chipotle. It's the McDonalds of Mexican Food restaurants (literally, McD used to own the chain). I've been here a few times, and this last one is what my review is about today. I came one evening for dinner and the crew looked annoyed, sluggish, and generally pissed off. Obviously they hadn't smoked their usual bowl together before coming into work. When I walked in they were out of literally EVERYTHING. I've worked food service before, so I'm pretty chill about my food and waiting and yadda yadda, but this service was pretty bad. The chick making my burrito bowl didn't listen to anything I told her and just sighed when she got to each part in the line that she had to wait for that product to be made. Let me check those off for you: vegetables, black beans, and barbacoa. She rolled her eyes at me like, "Can't you just pick something else?" Um, no. Then I get to the "additives" portion of guac, pico, salsas, cheese, etc. The next girl that took over asked if I wanted cheese or sour cream and I said no. She looked at me like I had a third head. Some people don't eat dairy, dude, deal with it. The final annoyance came when the cashier called me "sweetheart" four separate times and she looked younger than me. Seriously? Again, Chipotle. Let me start off by saying that the service here is HORRENDOUS. Normally, I love going to Chipotle, whether it be in Arizona (home town) or Boston (college location). However, whenever I am in Andover, I dread going to this place because of how rude, careless, and unprofessional the workers are. Because the workers absolutely do not care about providing the best service, they serve slowly (because they are talking to each other instead of focusing on their customers), perform recklessly (they drop big pans in the back kitchen and disrupt the seating area), and give ridiculously small portions. When I was in today, I asked for a little bit more of the meat (since the worker only gave me a couple pieces of steak), and I was told to pay extra, even though I was not given the normal amount, initially. In addition, I have never been to a Chipotle that demands extra money for tortillas on the side when I order a bowl. At Chipotles in Arizona and Boston, I order three small flour tortillas (even five sometimes) on the side, and the workers ALWAYS gladly give them to me free of charge. This has been the first time coming to the North Andover Chipotle location since one year ago, and unfortunately, nothing has changed since the last time when my friends and I got so irritated by the service. I came here to complain about the price of the queso and guac. I bought a steak burrito with queso & guac and a plain soda water, $14 & change... Are you sh*tt*ng me??? Idk why this particular location is always so slow. It really doesn't matter how many customers are in there, they are still slow. It doesn't matter if you place the order online, still slow. My husband and I placed an online order and showed up about 15-20 minutes later. I waited in the car, he went in. He comes back to the car about 5 mins later with drinks, but no food. Apparently they didn't want to start making it until we had arrived...please explain to me how that makes sense? Why would we place an order in advance, just to have to wait when we get there? The whole point of placing an order online is to quickly grab and go. When we had finally gotten the food, they hadn't added extra rice or beans to one of our bowls. Chipotle's opened in North Andover, the site of the old Fresh City restaurant location. Friday night got there just in time as the line soon was almost to the door. The grill guys cooking the chicken passed along to the customers samples that were cups of grilled chicken, just a little spicy but yummy. The burritos here are awesome. Ordered the chips & salsa, small lunch brown bag 1/2 full of pita chips, and a small cup of salsa. Save your money on these the chips were just OK, and the salsa that came with the bag is too small to enjoy chips and salsa. I love the burritos here and I am happy I now do not have to travel to Nashua, NH to enjoy Chipotle's. read more

I was craving Mexican food and I mean seriously craving it. Just like a woman would crave pickle during pregnancy. I was in the parking lot and before I could step out of my car, I was wet. I mean wet in my mouth, I was salivating like a puppy who was just showed a yummy bone and meat. I got my fix of chicken bowl and a taco to go with it. Glanced over the cashier and saw that they were serving beer. voila! Boost me up with a Dos Equis please. A very enjoyable meal and my craving subsided after I hogged it all down in under 7 minutes. Pluses- The line moves fast, fresh ingredients and seating place. Minusus- If you in a hurry to grab some food during lunch, dinner this is not the place. Chipotle is one of my go-to restaurants as I love Mexican food. However, this particular restaurant always has long lines because the staff are apathetic and slow. I usually associate good value for my money at Chipotle, but they frequently only give the smallest of portions at this restaurant. Additionally, on multiple occasions the the soda machine didn't have ice and every time the seating area has been very messy. Don't even get me started on the state of the bathroom! Chipotle puts crack in their food and I'm addicted. I always get a burrito bowl with chicken, brown rice, black beans, medium and hot salsa, corn, lettuce, cheese and guac. Sometimes they don't drain my beans and I get a wet bowl. But I still demolish my food. I don't really care for the atmosphere - it's always full of loud, bratty teenagers. I hate to be harsh, but if I could give this location zero stars I would. Every time I've come to this location my experience has been miserable. The workers don't care at all about your food or your experience. No wait time has been once over an hour and 10 minutes and usually averages about 30 to 40 minutes more than my "promised" pickup time. Went to chipotle for dinner last night and it was the worst bowl I ever had. They ran out of queso, mild salsa, sour cream, and lettuce. All things that are pretty necessary for bowls. Very disappointed. Takes an hour to wait in line basically and they didn't even warn everyone what they were out of. Waited in that line for that long, I wasn't walking out with nothing.
