Fast forward to this time... what happened?? Last year the chicken sandwich had a thick, juicy chicken breast/patty. This time? They literally threw a chicken tender on my sandwich. And I know it was a tender because my friend ordered chicken tenders, and they looked exactly the same... except hers were BIGGER than the one on my sandwich. Be serious. The lettuce was one sad, soggy, pale little piece fighting for its life. Not crisp. Not fresh. Just... present. Like it clocked in but didn't want to be there. The Yas sauce wasn't nonexistent, but they were definitely stingy with it. I had to add ranch because it just wasn't hitting. The fries weren't even crunchy. Just cold and hard like they had beef with me personally. Not crispy. Not warm. Just... stale with attitude. The mac and cheese tasted like it came straight out of a Kraft box. No personality. No flavor. Not even vibes. The drink was also mid. It didn't save the meal. And before anyone says "maybe they were closing", we ordered at 6PM. They close at 9. Oh, and the grand finale? Food poisoning. Both of us throwing up within an hour of eating. The chicken was dry, and apparently also dangerous. Now that's talent. What happened?? The quality drop needs to be studied. Definitely not coming back.

But on this day, I thought to myself, "Self, I really hate making that busy-as-hell left turn on South Broadway in Salem. What if we took a journey to the Andover location instead?" And so it was. I enter this cozy little restaurant carefully tucked against a slightly submerged parking garage. Although, I probably shouldn't say "little" because the interior was noticeably larger than its Salem counterpart. It's also noisy AF in there when it gets busier than a New York subway. So naturally, I ordered my usual to-go (a Country Classic with an extra egg and hashbrowns for those who don't know). Only it wasn't *quite* ready on time. Which, to be fair, is kind of a minor point. Thing is, they have to shout your name whenever your order is finally ready. This in and of itself can prove to be quite the challenge when bellowing atop the already roaring crowd of customers impeding the otherwise accessible pickup shelves. I'll do my best to describe the interior since I wasn't really able to take pictures. But try to imagine an L-shaped dining area with the longest part hosting a row of countertop seats facing the windows. Beyond that sits a rather modest dining area with a few more tables. Next to that sits the gender neutral restrooms. It's strange and cramp, particularly when the place is packed tighter than a sardine can. Sufficed to say, I'm not much a fan of the interior design here. Being the partial recluse that I am, I offer the following best practice for a place so riotous: mobile order that shiz, cuh! Seriously. I had to put in my noise cancelling earbuds to appease my misophonia. The good news is....the food is still awesome. The eggs? Creamier than crème fraîche. Taters? Eh, I don't why...but these seemed way more seasoned the very first time I tried them. Fortunately, they actually pair rather well with their refined version of ketchup. The bacon? Well...let's just say I wish it were served well done. Not sure if I'm able to request that. But I'll scope out my options next time and get back to you all. That's it though. Nice place, WAY easier to get to than its Salem counterpart, but a bit too cramp and noisy for my taste which means....I'll likely ever dine in here. It's all good though, because I'm still giving Crack'd Kitchen & Coffee in Andover 4 Country Classics with all the fixins out of 5.

The food sucked and what's made it worse since they gave him a dollar tip on a five dollar order which is no great shake but it's probably more than they get normally. I think there are about five fries in the small fry. The place in Merrimac was at least double that And the hamburger was cold borderline frozen. I would love to have the opportunity to talk to the rich bastard who probably owns this place and just takes no pride and what they produce there. Comes to count the money I would think and nothing else. God bless America. Reading the terrible reviews of this place I can't believe that corporate doesn't step in and put their foot down. So if there are any people who really like fast food I would suggest you try that Burger King on the Salisbury Merrimac mass line on Route 110 right off of 495. There was a giant Starbucks right near it. I hold no grudge against the Burger King himself I hear he's a nice guy who has been wounded to his soul by the incompetence which surrounds him.

Worst service ever. They refused to fill my order, took my money anyway and wouldn't give it back, and when I tried to complain they pretended they couldn't hear me and walked away. Edit: Jacob's thoughtful and seemingly remorseful response belies his true intention (or lack thereof) to continue running this disgraceful franchise the same way it always has been run. Jacob has been leaving cookie-cutter sympathetic responses to bad reviews for over a year and a half: obviously, nothing is changing. This pathetic attempt to placate us and dodge responsibility only reveals how deep the rot runs at this Chipotle: they spend more resources and effort on training a PR expert to respond to nasty Yelp reviews than they spend on addressing the problems that cause these reviews. If anything, this comment from Jacob only underscores the necessity of voting with our wallets to drive this franchise into the ground. To my fellow consumers of fast casual Mexican fare: We are better than this. We must be better than this. This institution has earned nothing but our contempt, and we must spend our money accordingly. I placed an online order for four meals, and every single one was wrong. Two were missing ingredients but were still edible. However, the other two contained dairy, which is unacceptable since both my wife and daughter have dairy allergies. We had to throw those meals away entirely. Mistakes happen, but this goes beyond that. The portion sizes have noticeably dropped, orders are consistently incorrect, and your allergy protocols are nonexistent. To make matters worse, your phone line states you won't pick up, and your online system, "Pepper," is useless and stuck in an endless loop. How are customers supposed to get help? I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these issues. It's unacceptable for a restaurant to jeopardize customer safety and satisfaction like this. read more

Let me start of with the fact I am a traveler. I have been to Spain, New Mexico, LA, Atlanta and Austin. So I am in the position of measuring things different...and vegi' (no red meat nor poultry). What I am saying is that if you are from an area that is urban and cosmopolitan then take a moment to recall where you are. I order burritos, enchiladas, and a few standard items.They are served clean, fresh and in a reasonably timed manner. My orders are never wrong and the staff is friendly. The reason I did not give a 5 is because Chipotle is Chipotle. It is "Mexican" food on the go. It should not be confused with a place like Casa Romero in Boston, it is in a quiet suburb. If you haven't visited a chipotle before, I am dearly sorry. The experience is amazing. You may observe the employees freshly chop and cook your food, according to your own customization. The only downside to Chipotle, is the overly long line, but this isn't as bad as it looks. The lines at Chipotle, and especially this one may seem intimidating, but this is due to the extreme popularity of the joint. In five minutes, you will surely have your order taken, for the service is very quick. I always have a very pleasant experience at Chipotle, and I hope you will too. read more

Worst chipotle experience I've ever had. It took the staff 20 minutes to make me a chicken quesadilla and ring me up. Staff had no urgency despite a decently long line. My quesadilla had nearly no chicken or cheese in it. Usually there is enough food to fill the tortilla, but there was nothing on either end of the tortilla beside the tortilla itself. All around a brutal experience that I haven't had at chipotle until tonight, but was poor enough for me to consider not going back to that location. read more

This is actually one of the better locations for chipotle, and the premier place to get fast food in North Andover and Andover. My son stops here all the time. I would recommend getting the salads, as you save 300 calories by not eating the tortilla. The guacamole is great, and is always fresh. I would highly recommend getting it on just about everything! read more

They sometimes add a gratuity for parties of six or more in some upscale restaurants but NOT for a party of two. Be aware of that ilegal practice on this restaurant! I asked the server to remove it to let me choose the tip and said the system didn't allow her to do that. Then asked to speak to the manager to challenge this scam practice and they said he only comes on Thursdays and asked me to call by phone on that day. How convenient that he is not there to face customers.
