Decent location the atmosphere is ok. Large space with tables really close. Really interesting different options for food choices. 4 of us met for lunch and all were very happy. Fajitas, enchiladas, mushroom tacos were all well liked. The soup was excellent but just lukewarm. Would have been really great if it was hot. Drinks were excellent. Holy guacamole, this place is fantastic! My husband and I rolled into Bandoleros in Andover for lunch and rolled out very happy (and very full). I went for the poblano chile, which was absolutely delicious--perfectly stuffed with great texture and draped in a red sauce that made me want to lick the plate (I refrained, but barely). My husband ordered the tacos al pastor on blue corn tortillas with avocado crema, and based on the speed at which they disappeared, I'd say they were a hit. The rice side dish was so good we were both fighting over the last bites--who knew rice could cause marital discord? Drinks were on point too. He enjoyed his beer, and I was living my best life with a spicy margarita rimmed with tajin. Chef's kiss. The space itself is absolutely beautiful, and our server was amazing--attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. We're already planning our next visit. We are so excited for this new neighborhood Mexican restaurant and the food did not disappoint! My sons devoured the birria tacos and my mezcal old-fashioned was delish. The churros were so good my husband had to get a second order to go. We'll definitely be back. read more

Food was excellent, a cut above your average Mexican restaurant. Drinks were expensive - $4.50 for a Coke and not even offered a refill. The decor was minimalist and could use some pizzazz and color to give it a warmer feeling. i would definitely return for the delicious food and wish the owners well as they make the space their own. read more

They are still working through getting the hang of it. Service is spotty and a bit lacking. The immediate feel of the place is warehouse like.... Think Costco or Home Depot. Lighting is sever and all the surfaces feel cold. Food is "almost" as good as at Devens but not a wow. Probably will not return but we will try Concord and hope for the best. I wish them well but the vibe is a bit off at this location. read more

We got take out, and all our food was quite good as we had heard from friends. I recommend any burrito as they put Queso on it which was a great call. I did go around 1pm on a weekday for pick up so there was no one else there and service was quick. It does seem nice inside so I may try dining in, and sample more of the menu next time. read more

The food is always great here. Unfortunately we like to take out. They have an odd process where you place an order online. Then the order has to be acknowledged by the front person to be sent to the kitchen. Well 9 out of 10 times I wait 10 minutes and no acknowledgment so I have to call the restaurant to get them to send my order to the kitchen. You are given a time to pickup. When you get there to pickup, your order may be ready. However if it is Friday or Saturday evening your order will not have even been started and you will be waiting 30-40 minutes. This is a usual occurrence and needs better management to match the quality of the food. read more

The restaurant is very beautiful and the food is insta presentation worthy. However, if you're expecting your food to taste like it looks good elsewhere. We ordered guac, tamalitos and chicharrones for appetizers. The guac was like they took the pico and mixed with a little bit of avocado. The corn tamales we requested cheese, we received chicken but decided to try. The meat was rubbery and the masa was flavorless. The chicharrones were ok. For dinner we got tacos, flautas and enchiladas. The enchiladas seemed to have mole sauce not enchilada sauce on them beware also quite spicy. The rest of the food was meh. For dessert we tried the churros which were good minus the side sauces. Why did they have milk? Makes no sense!! The house margarita was weak and the coconut mojito. Seemed to not have alcohol specially at $15 we didn't get a second round. Our tab was $160. So definitely not worth it. Service was slow and requests were missed during food order. Love the vibe but the food is just ok. It's pricey for what it is and not a huge menu. Waitstaff was very nice, though.

Lovely decor and ambiance. We were seated immediately in the last available table on a Sat evening about 5:30. Service was prompt and polite. We ordered the Parrilada for 2. It had grilled steak, chicken, shrimp, some kind of large cuts of warm cheese, rice etc. Not your average Mexican covered with melted cheese and sauce. Delish and plenty of food. Went on I believe their first opening weekend. For that reason alone, they really did a great job. A couple things to work out. Staff seemed very stressed out, like, snapping at each other behind the bar, some intense conversation between a bartender and a bar back. The manager at the front was just literally screaming names off the waitlist. "JOHN!" At a level that made everyone in the restaurant stop and wince. Maybe we need to be loud, but more context, "PARTY OF 3 FOR JOHN!" Or "JOHN, party of 3" Might not have sounded like he was about to start a brawl by screaming someone's name. The restaurant is very small. The food was delicious. They got our elotes incorrect, we wanted them on the cob, but it came out off the cob as a dip but nothing to dip them in. Rest of the food and drinks were great. The bartender dropped the check but it wasn't ours. We pushed it back and let him know it wasn't our food or drinks on there. He apologized and dropped another check. Still not ours. We waited 5 minutes and he never checked on us again so I went to the host stand to sort it out. Eventually got the correct food and drink check, we paid and left. Whole visit was about 2 hours. For a very busy Saturday at dinner time, these are minor things. I'm sure they'll work out the kinks and we'll be back. read more

This place just opened but it won't be a secret for very long. Delicious food that was served efficiently and with a smile. The staff are very inviting and easy to talk to. Also it's an intimate setting so not too loud or bright. read more

Ok so, I wasn't even going to leave a review, but then I had to. It was our first time here, so we didn't know what to expect, all we knew was that this place was "new". So upon entering, there was not really much of a wait. I stood before this younger male worker, at the hostess sand wiping menus and completely had no clue that I was standing in front of him just wanting to request a table for two. It was just my mother and I. I don't know if he just didn't see me or was just completely checked out... spaced out more like it. Anyway after capturing his attention, we finally got sat, and First came the chips and the bottle of water, no drinking glasses, those came much later. Followed by side dishes. And then the silverware. All at different times. It would've been nice to have one manager or adult supervisor stop by the table just to ask how things were, but there was really no interaction from any kind of management whatsoever. It's a Friday night at 8pm, Any sort of supervisor would've been fine or some grown-up member of leadership. As for the food, we both ordered the chicken fajitas and we both asked for corn tortillas. When we opened up the packaging for the tortillas they were both literally cracked and fell apart when you tried to roll them into a taco. We asked for cheese because traditionally, although maybe not in Mexico, but we wanted more queso Blanco or just white cheese to add to the fajita and he brought it and then charged us two dollars without telling us they'll be an extra charge. We don't mind at all but at least let your guests know. He was nice. The taste overall was pretty bland, I enjoyed my chicken however my mother said that her portion was described as way more vegetables and very oily versus protein. "Hardly any chicken" ...The side dishes of the rice and beans were rather tasteless and cold. It wasn't very nice at all. We won't be coming back but I hope they kind of get their act together here. Neither good nor bad. The steak fajitas were a cold and bland. I really enjoyed the small portion of black beans. Wish there was more. The queso and chips had good flavor but again, the portions were small. We finished and waited 20 minutes after the table was cleared before our server came back with the bill. Ordered the Cmichanga, but it was not fried. It came as a normal burrito. It was very good, but be aware it is PACKED with rice & beans with just a comically small portion of meat. In my case, chicken. Again, still good but you're paying $20 for a burrito with very little meat so just know tbat going in. Id give it a 3/5 solely due to that & the fact it is not deep fried which is what a chimichaga actually is read more

Crave worthy tacos! Great service! Will absolutely come back- the guacamole was great also. Parking can be tricky, but worth the effort.

The food was delicious and the service was ok. The issue I had with Bandoleros is the kid meals only included the meal. Every restaurant I have ever been to with my grandchildren included a drink and dessert with the kids meal. It should be noted on the menu that the small plastic cup of lemonade is $4.50 extra. read more

We were a group of four who all loved our meals. The wait staff was friendly, competent, knowledgable and efficient. The margaritas were excellent as was the food. The only tip I want to share is for vegetarians. Their rice is cooked in chicken broth, so that leaves out a lot of choices for vegetarians and vegans. However, I still had a great meal.
