Do not visit this Chipotle. After traveling all day, I did a mobile order pickup for my family for a late dinner. It was ready promptly at my pickup time. I arrived to pick up and one of the workers handed me my order. When arriving back at the hotel, I proceeded to unbox the 4 entrees. NOT 1 of the 4 entrees was correct!!!! My kids wouldn't eat the food since every single one had spicy salsa. We had received chicken on all 4 and I had ordered and paid for steak! Reached out to customer service immediately thinking they'd make it right. I was told they were "sorry for my bad experience" but in no way could they compensate me for the dinners that were now in the garbage. They didn't even try to make it right. No coupons for a free entree. No refund or partial refund. Nothing. Do NOT visit. I will spend my money elsewhere. ETA: after reaching out to customer service again, we were compensated with 4 free entree coupons which we used for dine in. I've been to many chipotles in my time, and this place gets a close second for the worst I've ever been to. This chipotle simply serves as a giant conglomerate to take your money on the premise that you won't be coming back (which won't matter as it's in a touristy vacation town). The food was horrible and bland, there was ginormous chunks of onion that weren't properly cut, and the employees were extremely lazy and slow. Not to mention that none of the tables were clean and every single trash can was filled to the brim with trash falling out. read more

This review is for the West Ocean City, MD location. This evening shortly after 5pm January 17, 2025 we entered the restaurant after driving 10 miles to eat there and sadly the place was a mess. We only had a few customers in line ahead of us. My wife went over to see what drinks were available. She came back and asked do I really want to order here tonight? Looking around in all seriousness there were zero clean tables. Even the chairs had food on them, and looking at the trash cans as we left you could see they clearly hadn't been emptied all day. There were only 3 staff members that I could see. Clearly they were under staffed for it now being the dinner hour on a Friday. I never was close enough to see if the food was even fresh and ready to be served because seeing no place to sit and eat we simply went to a neighboring place to eat. I would think management could and should do better both in staffing and seeing that the place is clean enough for people to enjoy a meal in. Yes I understand that it was busy with summer vacationers, however the filth did not accumulate over the last couple of hours. Standard Chipotle experience really - at this point it would take a serious issue or poor experience to warrant a 3 or under review. Stopped in for lunch around noon on a Friday where there was a small crowd of the usual customers that come into chipotle and order their usual spread. I have booked this down to a science with reviewing Chipotle's: 1.) PORTION - I have been to these where I left just as hungry as when I stepped foot in the door, and I have left some where I almost (almost) couldn't finish. When spooning on the protein- 1.5 spoons is the standard, I got 2 spoons. Sour cream- half a spoon is standard, I got a half. Well done overall. Also in this category can be the wrapping of the burrito. Which I will tell you, is the biggest variable of a burrito. On this trip I gotta softball instead of a burrito. Tough. Just got a fork and knife and ate it. 2.) CLEANLINESS - Place was clean. Seemed like they do a good job of taking care of things. Floors were swept, table tops wiped. Etc. 3.) SERVICE - Along with portion, the employees were friendly and personable. Was a fan. 4.) TASTE - things were fresh and the standard when it comes to Chipotle. read more

Best service I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. Visiting Ocean City during the off-season and didn't expect much but what I got was WAAAY better. The usual order but my on-the-spectrum toddler was overstimulated, an angel of an employee who sympathized because she has 6 children of her own recognized this and gave him a clementine in a sauce container. She said that it was bright so physically appealing but it also doubled as a noisemaker therefore satisfying his need to make some kind of audio chaos. It was perfect, he played with it during the whole meal as he ate & in the end he ate the clementine. I get a bowl w/ rice, chicken, cheese and guacamole, my wife gets the same and my guy gets the children's meal. It's off-season so the parking was plentiful and the wait was non-existent. It was everything I've come to expect from Chipotle in terms of food but the service made my night. Five stars is the least I could do. Really bad experience. The person making my bowl dumped two full scoops of hot salsa on it and was about add a third before I asked them to please not add more. It literally started to slosh out of the side of the bowl, they had to get a new lid although it kept leaking out still. I don't know if the person was new and in training but that doesn't change the fact that my bowl was inedible. Will not be back. read more

I come to this chipotle at least once a week and am extremely disappointed every time. I often get a steak bowl which, sometimes has a strip or two of fat. But this time as pictured below almost every piece of steak was unable to be eaten because of it being purely fat. The staff is always kind which is the only reason I'm giving two stars. Updating review and changing to one star because in addition to the below, dinner seems to have given me food poisoning. Not an uncommon problem with Chipotle, but the first time it's happened to me. Chipotle is generally a decent option on travel so I stopped here. Never before have I had such skimpy portions. I should have known something was up when the three people in front of me all asked for extra cheese. When I asked for an extra scoop of salsa it was put in a container and I was billed for it. Salsa isn't even a critical / more expensive item that's tracked! When I asked for extra cheese I was asked if I wanted to double it (fyi, apparently that means they give you more and they charge you). No, I don't want double. I want the amount that I'm normally given at Chipotle. The same thing happened with the guacamole. If I'm going to spend $17 on a meal, there are much, much better places to go than Chipotle. No comment on whether they skimp on the meat since I don't eat it. read more

This store was poorly functioning despite being fully staffed. The portions given were pathetic. I had asked for extra chicken and was given a scoop with 4 pieces of chicken. My burrito was carelessly wrapped and fell apart on the way home, so I had to learn how to wrap it on my own. My bag of chips had a huge hole in he bottom that spilled everywhere in my room. Horrible service. We came in around 8:50 and the sign said they close at 10. They locked the doors after we walked in. Not even 9pm! And then while others were trying to open the doors, one of their staff members or the manager literally screamed at the top of their lungs " WE'RE CLOSED", he said it so loud and with such anger and stomped his way to the door. We stopped in for a quick dinner while vacationing.. disgusting & every single worker we interacted with was rude. The place has food & trash all over the floor and tables. Every trash can was overfilled. No ice in the drink machine and soda was spilt all over the counter. The first worker making our food was very snappy and kept loudly asking when she could go home. I had placed a group order here and I am very dissapointed after spending so much money. We ordered a few burritos with cokes and chips and queso. The bag we received contained the burritos and chips but no drink or queso. The burritos also didn't have any queso, which was very disappointing. If you read any of my reviews, you'll know that I rarely give chains 4 stars. Chipotle definitely deserves it! I could not wait for this Chipotle to open. Oh, if only it was closer to my workplace. *HINT HINT CHIPOTLE PEOPLE: Bring a franchise to Berlin, pretty please! I promise to eat there often.* Anyhoo... when I went, there were a gazillion people in line, but they managed to move me in and out of there within 10-15 minutes or so. Not bad. Still, it's hard for me to make it out to the eastern end of West OC during lunch hour, I'm afraid. Why eat at Chipotle? If you've eaten there before, you know why. If not, let me tell you why it's head and shoulders above McDonalds, Arby's, Wendy's, Subway, Chick-Fil-A, Taco Bell, KFC, etc. etc. For one, it's healthy -- especially if you refrain from putting a bunch of cheese, guac, and sour cream all over everything. But even if you do, and the calorie count goes "cha-ching", your meal will still be better for you and taste better than anything you'll get at other fast food places. Chipotle also makes an effort to invest in organic and sustainable farming practices. I assure you other fast food chains care nothing for these things; watch or read "Fast Food Nation". Additionally, kudos to Chipotle for having the courage to boldly post calorie counts on the overhead menu so that everyone can make informed decisions. One caveat: if you hate cilantro, I'm afraid you will hate Chipotle. Lucky for me, I looooove cilantro! read more

First to review? What an honor, even if it is just Chipotle. The newest location on Delmarva (soon to be surpassed by the Rehoboth outlets location) has a solid staff eager to please with all of the normal Chipotle fixins done right. It's got a great location, too: right across the Route 50 bridge in Seaside Village, alongside Applebees and Chick-Fil-A. At most, maybe a 7 minute drive from the beach! I went once in August and it was mobbed, then visited earlier today and it was pretty calm, yet stayed steady. I'm super happy a Chipotle is here! Just hope it can generate enough business in the off season. read more

What a welcome find in OC! After a day of walking on The Boardwalk, eating fries from Thrashers and downing Diet Coke like it's cool, it's great to find a place where I can have something vegan and healthy. If I ate another fried meal I'd make myself run a 5k. As a I expected, everything was great. I got my usual - half portion brown rice, fajita veggies, black beans, sofritas, pico, medium salsa, and guacamole. This chipotle isn't the greatest but it's not completely terrible. The portions aren't that big, they lack sour cream and fail to refill it after numerous hours. I understand that this is the only chipotle in Ocean City, but that shouldn't be an excuse to be stingy with the resources. People Come here because they are expecting packed bowls and burritos and are hungry, not because they want a light thing to eat. After spending my fair share at different Chipotle's I can tell you that this one is closer to the bottom end of the scale. The work station was disgusting with bits of food everywhere. Even while we waited for the items to be prepared the employees did not clean their station!
