Amazing!!!! Such a small little place but you must stop by. The food is amazing. Prices aren't that bad as well. Service was fast and friendly. Staff helping each other out. Got a bit busy and then there was a small wait to get in but.... I had the Three Amigos Steak Chalupa, Chicken Queso Crunch Taco and a Mini Beef Chimichanga served with Fiesta Rice $23 well worth it.... A++++++

The tacos were delicious except for the bang bang shrimp, they were bland and should just be called fried shrimp tacos. The cheese dip is amazing and we love it. Would highly recommend everything but the bang bang shrimp. Our waitress was amazing and the atmosphere is fun.

First time in Ocean City and this place was right down from where we were staying. Wasn't in the mood for seafood so took a chance with this place.... Would give a 4.5 if I could. Great atmosphere, friendly and responsive staff. Food was good - we got the Lefty's Lust burrito and the Eastern Shore quesadilla (with regular tortilla). The burrito was solid but not life changing. The quesadilla was really good. Drinks are on point.. again.. would have given a 4.5 if possible. Def solid choice for dinner.

Had dinner here one night while in OC this week. One doesn't think of Mexican while at the beach, but our team is a little different. Located near Hoopers - I could see parking being a chore, though we ubered here and had no issue. I wouldn't say it's a particularly large place, so if reservations are possible get them. We sat in a large booth on the left wall and ordered drinks - mine just a diet soda. Table chips and salsa weren't bad - though the salsa was a little on the spicy side. Definitely had a bite to it. As an appetizer we shared the three pack of dippers - avocado, queso, and pico, which were good. For my entree I ended up settling on the safe bet of chicken fajitas - which came with tortillas and interior additions. Usually rice come with fajitas - but not here. Also, I only got 3 tortillas which for some reason was acceptable - I needed like 5. Overall it was good, but just plain to me.

Food- chips and dips was a great place to start our meal. We got the Mexican corn, mahi taco, ahi tuna tacos, and wings. All had large portion sizes and super flavorful. Drinks- drinks were tasty. Vibe- really festive decor. Service- Kenzie helped us at the bar. She was helpful, attentive, and friendly.

    House margarita from hell.

They tried to poison me. I had ordered the "house margarita." What came out looked like a house margarita but it was far from it!! Whoever made the drink had rimmed it with an unknown pepper that burned my lips on contact! I proceeded to experience this severe pain for two hours. I had to leave the restaurant before the food came out. The worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant in my 29 years of life. Anyone should strongly consider going to this restaurant.

Food was decent; prices were fair and the service was great. This place is a decent addition to west OC after mockingbird closed.

We ordered a variety of street tacos, including the adobo costillas, chorizo, al pastor, and chicken tinga. Every one of them was flavorful, well-prepared, and packed with authentic taste. The salsa selection was outstanding, with each one bringing its own unique flavor and heat level. The charro beans were rich and savory, while the rice and black beans made excellent sides to round out the meal. What stands out most about Papi's is the consistency. Returning customers know what they're going to get: great food, generous flavors, and a reliable dining experience. I was disappointed that they didn't have chilaquiles on the menu (pictured here on Yelp, but not on their website - my fault not theirs). We got costilla tacos and a brunch combination. Really cannot complain about either. There's a collection of bottled hot sauces on the table and a bunch on the menu to order and customize as well. I was tempted to go with 3* here but the tacos were good, eggs were cooked perfectly, and the prices are reasonable especially considering how close to the beach you are.

Because of that, we respectfully asked about getting a refund. The staff told us only a manager could approve refunds, but the manager wasn't there at the time. No alternative solution was offered -- not a replacement meal, store credit, or any way to help resolve the situation. Since this is a family-owned restaurant it left us feeling stuck and unheard as customers. I understand policies exist, but spending that much money and leaving without being able to eat the food or get help addressing the issue was very frustrating. I hope management can improve how situations like this are handled so other customers don't have the same experience.

The food was amazing. The pour over, fresh ground coffee served with a shot glass of sparking water to refresh the palate set the stage for the care and level of food quality and service we could expect. The egg and cheese quesadillas were mouth watering and left us wanting for more. The egg and chorizo Mexican torta was so huge I didn't think I'd be able to eat it all, but each bite was rich with authentic Mexican flavors that I couldn't stop. We topped it off with the beautifully baked concha bun that finished us off perfectly. The location is great with plenty of parking and once warmer temperatures come, sitting outside on the patio next to the water will be the place to be. Can't wait to go back!

The vibes here are immaculate - this is what you imagine when you think coastal taqueria. From the wooden building to the bizarre layout, this is it. You can't go wrong with that! The hot sauces are homemade, the salsa tasted fresh, everything from a condiment perspective was good. Now again was it authentic, no, but come on... If you have to order two things I would get the corn appetizer - it is honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten in delaware, and then the surf and turf burrito because it is epic! Everything I tried was good. The drink situation could use some help...the margarita was fine, but i really wanted neat mezcal and that was incomprehsible to them to the point that I ended up with a mezcal margarita that had anejo mezcal in it...sad We'll be back!

As soon as we pulled in we noticed the lack of parking, honestly at no fault to the restaurant despite that being a complaint amongst reviews. I popped out and sent my bf on his manly duties to fight for a parking spot while I secured a table. I walked in and was immediately sat along the windows to the left of the hostess table. Granted, we are a party of two which absolutely helped a quick seating. Immediately our waiter greeted me and very kindly offered to either take my drink order or return when my bf arrived. In the middle of that time he dropped a pitcher of water, and rounded back very quickly once my bf was seated. We did a round of drinks and an appetizer to start. Ordering our meals halfway through our app. We stuck to non-alcoholic drinks as it was the back end of our trip (lol), so no review of the cocktails although a reliable source complimented the marg! We ordered the fried brussel sprouts as our app, there was no shortage of bacon nor balsamic glaze and we really enjoyed! For our meals we both ordered the steak fajitas with corn tortillas, and I asked for extra peppers. It ended up being a $2 upcharge however, I feel like I am always shorted veggies when I'm down the beach and they gave quite a generous amount. As for the fajitas/steak, it was very well seasoned and very tender. Ultimately we had enough leftover to take home and throw in a wrap for lunch! For the cost, I felt the portions were quite fair. Overall I think we will absolutely be back. Highlights are the service and the value of the meal. I've had some very awful experiences with restaurants in OC and this place definitely gave me some hope. I would love to come back for their awesome sounding happy hour, as well as to try some tacos!
