Sizable portions so we took some home. What a find in WestOC. A special call out: the employees we interacted with were are happy - happy to welcome you, serve you, open doors, and they help each other. Often hard to find an overall, universal good vibe like this. Highly recommend giving them a try. And don't let the busy parking lot deter you. There was plenty of seating inside. Enjoy! Visited Pancho & Lefty's while in OC over the summer. We were seated after a short wait. Prior to placing our order, the waitress let us know that there were some items not available as it was sold out. But we still stayed. Really nice and chill ambiance. Started with some appetizers and got the tortilla chips with 3 dips- salsa, queso, and guacamole. All three were delicious! We all ordered different items, I got the seafood burrito and it was served with a side of rice. It was okay. Didn't really wow me but it was a good sized burrito. The burrito was okay. The salsa is good, the menu is varied, and the food was pretty good, though I would've hoped for just a little more meat in the portion size. We went to Pancho & Lefty's on a Saturday afternoon at 3 pm. We were served very good salsa and thick, tasteless thick chips. Then we waited for 45 minutes for our food. We asked the waitress why our taco salad with chicken and chicken quesadilla was taking so long to be served. Her reply was that many orders were given at once so it was taking longer in the kitchen. No apology was offered. Later as the food was finally served by the manager, we mentioned the wait and again no apology was offered. My chicken in the taco salad was overcooked and tough. Great atmosphere, friendly and responsive staff. Food was good - we got the Lefty's Lust burrito and the Eastern Shore quesadilla (with regular tortilla). The burrito was solid but not life changing. I was in Ocean City for the annual car show over the weekend. Had a long day and decided to stop at one of my favorite places. I always order the same thing when I purchase food from this restaurant. I always ask them not to put sauce on it because it's a bit spicy. Unfortunately when I get my food spicy sauce is on it every time, I'm not sure who's working in the kitchen but it's happened every single time. That's it for me. It was a long day and I didn't feel like going back to the restaurant and I was starving. How hard is it to take a few minutes to make sure the food is fixed according to the customer's request. Located near Hoopers - I could see parking being a chore, though we ubered here and had no issue. I wouldn't say it's a particularly large place, so if reservations are possible get them. We sat in a large booth on the left wall and ordered drinks - mine just a diet soda. Table chips and salsa weren't bad - though the salsa was a little on the spicy side. Definitely had a bite to it. As an appetizer we shared the three pack of dippers - avocado, queso, and pico, which were good. For my entree I ended up settling on the safe bet of chicken fajitas - which came with tortillas and interior additions. Usually rice come with fajitas - but not here. Also, I only got 3 tortillas which for some reason was acceptable - I needed like 5. Overall it was good, but just plain to me. read more

The chips and salsa on the table were just fine, nothing special about their salsa and does not seem homemade, could use more flavor, maybe more cilantro? I loved the street corn wings! So I'm guessing the street corn is rly good too. For the blackened shrimp burrito I def wouldn't order anything blackened. I loved the bites without shrimp but the shrimp was overly salty and spicy. EXTREMELY salty. I literally picked it out. Next time I'll ask for grilled (which wasn't an option but I'll see if they'll do it). Their fiesta rice that came with it was good. And there was an avocado spicy dressing too which I liked. I thought overall it was pretty good, I'd go back! Lots of their offerings have mushrooms as an option instead of meat. Service was great. Of course the kids meals went uneaten. My daughters enchiladas were not very good, and my wife's taco meal was just so so. I will have to say that my fajitas were pretty good. Sigh, another one bites the dust. We just haven't been happy w any of the Mex places we have tried in OC. I loved the decor, my skinny spicy margarita and the queso on the nachos. That was it. Beef enchiladas were ok, chicken enchiladas had no flavor. The steak tacos had some kind of marinade (soy? sesame?) that gave them an odd Asian flavor. Even the chocolate peanut butter fried ice cream was meh. Try Mariachi in Reho for some great Mex if that's what you are craving. read more

They tried to poison me. I had ordered the "house margarita." What came out looked like a house margarita but it was far from it!! Whoever made the drink had rimmed it with an unknown pepper that burned my lips on contact! I proceeded to experience this severe pain for two hours. I had to leave the restaurant before the food came out. The worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant in my 29 years of life. It came with sour cream, guac, lettuce, and pico. Very good. My wife got a Tijuana Shrimp caesar salad. She enjoyed it a lot. Said the pico was a bit spicy but very good. We were the first in @ 5pm... we're very specific with our order as I can't have rice due to diabetes. Both my son and I requested replacement for the rice like guacamole or avocado. Well, order came without anything request. Not only did it have rice on the side, the burrito was loaded with rice!!! WTHK! I normally am quite easy with servers as my brother was one for many years and I fully understand their work. But, you are being paid for a service... I can at least expect what I asked for. We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated since there were quite a few parties before we arrived. They are definitely working out some kinks due to limited seating and being a newly opened restaurant. However the hostess was very friendly and accommodating to our party of four. Our server, Kylie was very quick, friendly, and efficient. We were able to receive our food very quick once we we ordered our dishes. We ordered the Con Queso Spicy dip for appetizer and it was not spicy at all but still good. Then I ordered the Seafood Fiesta burrito which was also good. The scallops and shrimp tasted fresh. Food is excellent. Came here during the off season and Taco Tuesday is amazing. Both my son and I ordered the Birria tacos. Comes with 3 big tacos and rice. The sauce is amazing to dip the tacos in. The taco section listed the prices of the different meats you can get on your tacos & said $15 for beef tacos. One of them? Two? Three? I kind of guessed that $15 meant 3 or so tacos, but it came out to be $4 for the one I got on my bill? I'm not really sure what happened. The rice tasted like Uncle Ben's 90 second warm up, but putting the hot sauce in it made it really good. Oh, I wanted to note- they put spices and hot sauce right on the table, no need to ask! The chorizo queso was absolute the best I've ever had! I've been to every Mexican restaurant and theirs is the best by far. We had a party of 10 and got lucky and got a spot at the bar. Our bartender Michael was very accommodating to our louder crowd. Josh the manager was busting his tail helping the servers, getting us chips and doing anything that needed to be done.
