This place is located off of highway 70 and Oro Dam Boulevard ( you can see it when you exit the freeway). Ross, Harbor Freight and Domino's are also in this shopping complex. I stopped here on my way to Chico. It has outdoor seating and a drive thru. It is very clean inside and the prep area looked good too. You can also order on line using their app! I wasn't very hungry so I ordered the kids quesadilla that comes with rice and beans. They also include a children's drink and a VERY small bag of chips. Not bad for 5 bucks! The male employee wasn't sure how to make a quesadilla...it came out kind of sloppy but still tasted ok. The hot salsa was awesome ! They have some new items on the menu that looked intetesting. You have many choices but make sure it's included so they don't upsell you! I would go here again. I gave it 4 stars because the cheese wasn't melted. The employees seem professional and clean. Damn. I just read the reviews on this location and it's not very good. That being said, I'm going to do my best to deliver a review from my personal experience. One word, Chipotlane. I love it. Having this drive through has been pretty amazing. I also order through the app before picking up and so have had minimal contact with the employees. Even in very brief pick ups I can tell when someone is over it and practically throws the food at me but that's hit or miss. The food is fairly consistent and may change based on who's preparing it. For instance, I thought I'd found the perfect bowl and was happy to make it my go-to order but the next time I had it it tasted very different. My main complaint about Chipotle across the board is the food is ALWAYS cold. I have to strategically order certain items on the side so I can heat them up when I get home. I don't want any extra work. Also, the alleged large size guac.. stop playing on my time. Chipotle is basic but convenient. Healthy-ish but constantly cold. Ps. Ordered 3 tacos, I literally got 3 pieces of meat on each taco, one piece of bell pepper 2 pieces of beans, the only reasonable portion was the salsa and sour cream that is clearly mixed with water for how runny and insipid it tasted. I sat down 2 minutes after receiving my tacos and I bite into an ice cube... they were cold and disgusting. I could not eat that at all. On 6/23/21 we ordered tacos and chips + guac through the website and picked up in the Chipotlane. Our order was not done on time and when we came home we found out the tacos were made really sloppy, the tortillas were overly greasy and there was hardly any meat on them. On top of that the guacamole was brown. I called and the manager promised to credit the chips + guac on my card which (surprisingly?) did not happen. She was not too concerned about the tacos, so I assume they're supposed to be sloppy, greasy and practically meatless. Our college team was traveling back from Butte college and before our team of 25 even got within 100 yards of the place, one of their employees told us we were closed and don't have the staff for us. We were hesitant to go but we were all out of options coming into town so late in the evening. We took a chance and the service was good. They got us through the line quickly and they do have the new mixed greens when ordering vegan with free guacamole (for which they gave pretty healthy portions). The beans and meat have never been healthy portions but we did ask for extra beans and we were not charged. Hopefully, they will get some more traffic and the reviews will improve overtime. We don't normally eat at Chipotle but when you are in Oroville and it's after 9pm there are not a lot of options. read more

This is not a keto bowl. First of all the kid started loading the bowls with lettuce, I told him, no cauliflower rice, he proceeded to tell me it was extra, whatever, I asked him to dump the lettuce from my bowl, my mom kept hers as is. They ran out of cauliflower rice so the bottom of my bowl was pretty empty. Then he ended up adding beef instead of chicken, was ready to throw HOT sauce on them, we went for medium but it was supposed have tomatillo. On both the carnitas was like the dried scrapings from the cutting board, crispy dried scrapings, nothing moist about it. The guy behind the counter was the worst at customer service, rushing me along even though there was nobody else in line. I could have put up with just letting him know how I felt about his manners but then to get home and find this crappy food put me over the edge. I won't be going to this Chipotle again. Disgusting!! I don't have anything against Chipotle in general, but this location is awful! We stopped for a couple of burritos last night. The tortillas were stale like the kind you find in the back of the fridge. The beans were half empty and burnt/caked to the side of the tub. The meat looked like it had been sitting there for hours, guac was brown.. you get the picture. One lady doing all of the work (from tortilla to cash register) while some other employees stood around behind her. Against our better judgement, we still ordered. We pass through Oroville about 6 times a month. We were very excited when we found out this restaurant was going in. It is one of our favorite food chains. Today while visiting people here we decided to go here for lunch when they opened. I didn't leave a review on our first visit because of it just opening and the staff was trying to figure things out. Today the place was not busy and service and portions were slow and little. I had to ask for double chicken because the staff members first scoop had 6 pieces of cut up chicken which is about half of what is in normal scoop. After getting our three meals, we went to sit down and the tables were filthy with dust and had hair on one of them. Hope this place gets better as we will not return for sometime. read more
