Haven't had a real problem here in about 4 years. Yeah, it gets busy at lunch, but where doesn't? The food has been decent, the staff very quick, and pride is alright for what you get. To all my Chipotle loving friends: Do not ever order anything from the West Mifflin Chipotle!!! We placed an order to be picked up at 1215 for $37.77. When I arrived outside the door there was a line of people waiting for their food...complaint for another day. When the employee asked the name of the order, it was under my wife, so that's what I told her. Of course, it was not under that name or any other combination of names. So I called my wife to provide me the information on the order. While talking with my wife, the girl starts arguing with me that we didn't place an order or it was placed to the wrong Chipotle. I explained to her that we order here all the time and this has never been an issue. But to be safe, I had my wife screen shot the order and send it to me. While I'm waiting for the text to come through with the order information, the girl proceeds to help other guests. Ok - fine. It took about 2 minutes for the text to come through with all the information and when she came back out I preceded to show her the information was correct. Even the screen shot wasn't enough to convince her I placed an order. Now she informs me that I should have received a confirmation email(wtf?!) Called my wife back and of course, no confirmation email, but it is already showing as a pending transaction from the credit union. At this point I asked her to speak with the manager and guess what?! She's the manager!! I finally told her that I'm getting no where here and you too concerned about with arguing with me about whether I placed an order or not, even though I clearly did. Her exact words were to call the bank and dispute the charges, because without this confirmation email, there was nothing she could do. In the middle of all this I nice gentleman had overheard the situation and tried explaining to her what she could do(he said he worked in a similar store) but she found a reason for that not to be possible either. It was simply take my order and make the food and write it off on your end. She did go back into the store one final time and when she came back out she finally offered to just make the order, but she decided that she needed to get one final word in about how I never placed an order and that she was doing me a favor. I told her forget and that I was calling corporate to complain. Of course when I asked her for the number, she told me that it was nothing more than an email system and someone will get back to you. Yes I emailed them and was told it will take 24-48hrs to respond. BTW, I called corporate (303) 595-4000 Denver, CO and spoke with Ken. I like chipotle. I however do not like this chipotle. The workers here need a hard reality check. I went in with my son. Line was long we were okay just chatting and enjoying some time together. When we go up to order it went down hill quick! The guy who takes your order was so rude and gross. He was picking chicken up with his hands. There were utensils available but he did not use them. I spoke up when it was time for mine. I asked him not use his hands. He got smart with me and said I have gloves on. I told him I didn't care that I just watched him touch unsanitary handles. He seriously rolled his eyes and grabbed a little plastic container that they use for there salsa. He threw it away after he was done against the wall where the trash was looked at me and said next. I was like whoa wait he wouldn't acknowledge me. I moved on the next area where the girl there was just as nasty. She used her hands to put cheese on my bowl. I guess it's just their thing there. But for real I watched them touch a pen, the register and the cooler with the same gloves they touch my food. Perhaps I'm just picky or whatever but I'm not going back. They are dirty in there. Not to mention slow as hell. Half of the workers look high. I'll stick to my own chicken bowls. read more

My husband and I love Chipotle! We frequent the one in Greensburg the most. It is calm, nice music, quick, friendly, clean.. I could go on and on. We were there recently and the line was out of the door and around the building- no problem we waited 25 min- there was plenty of food and the employees were very friendly and just kept working, they stayed calm, the back kitchen was working hard to keep the food fresh and bins full. I state all of this to show the glaring difference at the west mifflin chipotle.... Every time I go to the west mifflin chipotle there is utter chaos... There could be 2 or 20 people in line and the staff is screaming at each other, yelling out for no actual reason, making noise, texting WITH GLOVES ON, running out of food, bumping into each other, never cleaning the place. I was there recently and the girl that was heating the tortillas was so rude to a customer I couldn't believe it. He asked for a burrito and she said oh you want a burger? I guess I could fashion you a burger... He repeated his burrito request and the girl kept going on and on- the MANAGER then jumped in and was laughing and adding to it- the kid was visibly uncomfortable. Finally another employee told them to knock it off. I downloaded the chipotle app for this location alone, to hopefully avoid being inside for longer than I have to... I am also afraid to use said app at the west mifflin chipotle for fear the idiots behind the counter won't know what to do. They have not improved. I reviewed them a year ago and thought they were better the last two times I came here. Nope! Incompetent management still rules. Stupid, inefficient and less than clean. The restroom smells so bad that you cannot go in there. It smells like the fryers exhaust into the toilets. Anyway, I have no optimism that things will improve after today's experience. Returned the today, for a 45 minute wait for two burritos. If that's what you can call the loosely wrapped oozing blob I received. I didn't get a bowl, so I had no intention of having to use utensils, but this was so ridiculous that a fork was necessary. The line was long, but got up there relatively quickly. Only to stand there, without explanation, while online orders were completed for what felt like a long time (more than a few minutes, think closer to 10). I feel like this is not the best way to go about fulfilling those orders when the restaurant is clearly packed. I also would like to thank whomever for the giant piece of grayish green avocado (I hope) in our guacamole. Not very appetizing. While bacterial illnesses may keep people away, repeatedly poor service and products will be what loses my interest. read more

Always love every chipotle I go to except for this one! When you walk in, there is ALWAYS a long line that wraps around the room, takes up too much room, and is slow. The food is always good, but the workers are extremely slow. They are always out of brown rice when I have gone (atleast 3 times) and low on barbacoa. It's just a little ridiculous. The seating is never open, and when there is open seating, it's not cleaned. Only stop here when I actually have no other choice. Not a good individual store. Find the next nearest chipotle to go to. Also, they give you the smallest portion!! I normally can't finish a whole burrito or even close to it, when I go here I always finish the entire burrito and am still hungry. My wife and I are long-term Chipotle fans. We were first introduced in Akron, OH and then Columbus, OH. We can't wait to get back to these locations. Tonight there were so many employees on hand we couldn't count. That's not so bad except they were running out of staples like chicken, mild salsa, beans and rice... One worker pulled the empty bean tub and upon returning with a new one stopped to notice how filthy the work station was. No matter, he set the bean tub in its place and kept right on. Then, when I watched as our chicken was cut up, I noticed this work station was dirty too. Nobody cares to clean their work station as they go. While our food was being prepared, the line backed up at the register because the cashier was standing in the back on his phone. The line workers we're calling for 'Patrick' several times while people's food was getting cold. Seriously? Onto the dining room. Tables were a mess and needed wiped off. Notice the common theme of nobody cleaning. The soda station had straw papers and napkins laying all around and looked like nobody services this area all day and into the evening. Bottom line, we ate our dinner, but there were too many employees on hand who were bumping into each other out of complete disorganization. read more

Slowest, worst Chipotle at which I have ever eaten. I consistently leave this establishment angry because of how poorly it is run. There are usually only two people on the line (including the cashier) and the rest of the employees are just loitering in the back. The line backs up, even at low volume times, and you will wait 20 minutes no matter when you go. Even if there are sufficient employees working the line, it's slow, because they move in a lackadaisical manner with no sense of urgency or concern for moving people through the line. It's the worst near closing time because all of the employees are doing their clean up jobs and side work and there is only one person serving the clientele. If reviews were based on food alone, this chipotle would probably earn 4 stars, which is the only reason I return. This needs a new manager and an entirely new staff. read more

Every time we try and order from this place they're out of something (and always out of hard tacos) which they won't list on the website. If you order online they can't refund you because it's through door dash, even if your the one picking it up. Line is usually long and place is always a mess. Never had any problems at any other chipotles and generally enjoy eating their food but this ones a bust. Going to have to find elsewhere to eat for work lunches from now on read more

I come here once a week and I see no problem with the food or staff. I am so sick of seeing people bitching about this chipotle in century 3. The reason they are slow or seem broken or the restaurant doesn't always look like that perfect 10 you little shits want is because these people are so busy fill tons of orders online and in store plus they have to stop and wash there hands every 30 mins because of this covid shit!! And on top of all that they take shit from fat ass lazy people who don't wanna bring a lunch from home or they don't wanna cook for themselves at home cause they lazy. You all need to show more respect for the people who actually come to work to feed you instead of sitting at home collecting an unemployment check. Pretty typical Chipotle... I came here on New Year's Eve. The line was practically out the door, but thankfully it moved pretty quickly. I ordered chips and guacamole to share with my co-worker and a burrito bowl for myself. The chips and guac were very tasty! The guac was good, and the chips were perfectly light, crispy, and salty. However, my burrito bowl was disappointing. There was way too much rice, sour cream, and cheese and too little chicken, salsa, and lettuce. read more

This Chipotle was located near our hotel and we decided to have lunch here before heading out to a Pirates game at PNC Park. While crowded the staff kept the line moving and quickly assembled out order. We found the staff friendly and efficient and was eating after a 5-minute wait. The food was good and typical of other Chipolte's, they get you in and get you out quick, and that's what I wanted. When busy the staff seems to let the trash cans over fill and fails to promptly clean tables. During our visit the trash cans were full and their were messy tables throughout the dining area. I will visit this Chipolte again when I am in the area hoping that the messy state of the restaurant was a one time event. read more

I was telling someone the other day how I think Chipotle should be one of the five food groups. Yes, I love Chipotle. I have eaten here at least once a week for probably two months...or longer. I love the Subway-esque watch your food while it's being made thing and getting to pick how much of each ingredient gets put in your food. I eat both the bowls and burritos, lately preferring a vegetable bowl with guacamole (guac is free on veggi bowls and burritos!) and a side of chips. Everything is super fresh and I get a delicious meal for around $10. A go-to place for a quick, cheap, yummy meal. read more

So tonight I went to one of my favorite restaurants tonight, only to be disappointed.... when I ordered my food i had to keep asking for more because they were giving only half the portion size.... when I went to check out my friends and I all showed our fire IDs because our previous visit the girl had told us they gave a first responder discount.... this time, however, I am told that because we were volunteer firefighters and not police officers that we could not get the discount.... I was highly upset wbout this because it seems like the person was saying that because we were all Volunteers and not Paid or in uniforms that we didnt deserve it... in an area that is made up of mostly volunteer firefighters that kind of upset me... This is first time at this Chipotle's. I went to there early Saturday evening. The first thing I noticed was the volume of the music being played in the restaurant. Too loud. When my turn came I had to repeat everything I said twice to all three of the servers. The person manning the cash register was yelling about on line orders not being ready to other servers as she cashed me out. Not taking the time to thank me or my wife for the business. I know we were probably just another person she had to deal with, but I still think you need to look someone in the eye and at least acknowledge them. The tables were filthy. The trash cans overflowing. The food was excellent. I may go back when they are less busy. Someone needs to take the time to teach customer service. read more

Chipotle tastes delicious so let's not even argue about that. Like all chipotles it's gets very busy during certain hours however with new online ordering it is much faster and easier. However one time I ordered online and they gave me the wrong meat in my tacos so make sure to check before you leave. Parking lot can be difficult to find a spot in. Staff is mostly pleasant but the restaurant could be cleaner, fruit flies are often by the lemons and I don't like that. read more

I am not very happy with this particular Chipotle. I've been to this location a handful of times since it is very close to my home. I have tried to order online twice now and both times have been a disaster, especially because I have had two small children with me and the whole point is NOT to wait and be able to go in and get out quickly. The first time I ordered online they completely lost my order and had to go make it when I got there. The manager apologized and even threw in two drinks free of charge for me. That was fine and I was okay with that. The second time, today, though was not cool at all. I was to pick up my order at 11:15. I got there at 11:20 and they apparently hadn't even started on the order. I could have honestly got in line and ordered 20 burritos by the time the girl in the back finished my order. I think she was having a mental breakdown in the back. I understand everyone has bad days but she was running around barely doing anything, dropping several gloves on the floor, and doing everything so so slow. It was frustrating to me to say the least. My children were less than patient because it was past their lunch time. No one apologized or tried to make it right. I got my food at 11:35!! It was 20 minutes PAST the order pick up time and 15 minutes with my small children waiting. You guys need to get it together. I enjoy Chipotle, but this location needs better management and better trained employees. I'm not planning on returning to this place anytime soon and I highly discourage anyone to use their online ordering, especially at this location. read more

I hate this chipotle. It's dirty and parking is the worst! The guacamole was way too salty and the red onion was in huge chunks, also the chicken was defintely on the burnt crunchy and not very good side. This location also has no chips almost every time I go. I find this location to be the absolute most unacceptable chipotle to date. You need to clean up, have a much better trained staff and then maybe I would consider coming back to your location. Other than that stick to literally any other chipotle they are 100 times better than this one. here is my personal message to management. You are pathetic in the way you run this chipotle. read more

6 months ago I bought a chicken burrito here and it contained some unknown substance, I e-mailed the company and they responded quickly. Sent me fee coupons. I went again this week ordered a steak burrito, it contained grisely meat with no taste. I think it's time to find somewhere else for burritos. read more

SLOWWWW. Always a line at this one no matter the time of day. Management needs to be a leader and motivate the workers.

This is the worst Chipolte that I've ever visited honestly. On a regular basis, with 8 people in front of me, I find myself waiting between 15-20 mins. The people working there seem confused at best. Don't bother getting a burrio, get a bowl. The people they have rolling the burritos are usually the newbies, the last area you would want to put someone. It's also hard to believe that 2-3 people could screw up making a burrito or bowl when all they need to focus on is a few ingredients but, yes they do, every time. You may often find that you will need to demand that they redo your food after they add a gallon of sour cream or give you the wrong beans. It's also a crap shoot if you are going to get a pinch of meat that is the size of a tablespoon, or what would equate to double meat. The manager seems only concerned about their team calling out double beef but is CLUELESS to watching the overall quality. She watched as the burrito roller completely destoryed my burrito with 1/3 of the ingredients pushing out of the burrito. I stood there waiting for HER to say someting and after the manager started to put that in my bag I then said something. She acted as if I was crazy to request this as sour cream dripped down her wrist and beans / rice were falling to the prep table below. Really? It's almost as if they are intentionally messing up everything you can possibly think of to drive people away. I live no where near another Chipolte since moving and honestly that's a shame. I was a 2-3 time a week visitor down to maybe once every other week now. While this place remains very busy when you drive by, I doubt this place will be open for long. They will either realize that they arent profitable serving one burrito an hour or will be shut down for the filthy conditions that one immediately notices upon entering. One can also only assume it is worse in the food prep areas. Just visit the bathrooms for a better look. They have been open for a short period of time however the bathrooms have so much dirt built upon dirt that the only thing they can do at this point is remodel. Again, this place needs shut down asap and redone. Senior management really needs to take a look at this place and either help them or find the right people to run this place. In the past 6 times that I have been there, they have run out of something that I am ordering like Chicken, beef, or rice. That's like McDonald's running out of beef or buns. I think I can put it best when I say, that just driving past a Chipolte would inspire me if hungry to stop with the family. Now we opt for something else 90% of the time when we travel past another Chipolte throughout the Pittsburgh area. The RT 51 Chipolte has turned us off that bad from the brand.
