When we went today, I asked our waiter ahead of ordering if the $27.99 for each plate (that it states on the menu) was correct, or are they upcharging? He said "no, it's more..my manager tries to explain to us but we don't understand" and my answer to him was because there is no explanation, pure and simple. This is wrong, and dishonest..all those people, paying their bills not knowing they are being upcharged. We will NEVER, after 20 + years between Portland and Aransas Pass, EVER go back. They should be shut down for ripping people off. If you eat here, you better check your tickets for discrepancy. I wanted to tell the other two tables, on a Friday evening around 4:30, that they were all being charged more than they thought, but my husband said, nope it will come back to get them.
