My family's bowls were wimpy with very small portions and burritos poorly wrapped. My vinaigrette dressing was forgotten. We were all disappointed in the quality of the food. They were super busy! I get that. But I've been in that busy Chipotle where there were lines out of the door and the food quality and amount was sufficient. Look. It's Chipotle. My expectations aren't high to begin with, I just want to leave with the food that I ordered. With that said the staff is hit or miss. There's one lovely woman there (I'm assuming the manager) who swiftly rushes to take care of errors. On the other hand there are some staff members who barely have a pulse. The food is FINE. I've had instances where the food is cold or extremely salty, but again-- it's Chipotle. I am not eating at a fine Mexican restaurant. I am paying no more than $10 for food that is (kinda, sorta) healthy-ish and filling. This location routinely has lines out the door so that's saying something. All in all...it's Chipotle. It's a standard three stars. If you're really lucky you might visit on a day when it's a solid five stars..but those days are so rare. read more

Very inconsistent quality here. Sometimes rice is too salty, sometimes meats are too dry. We've also had guacamole that looked too brown. For the last two years we have been coming to this location less and less. Today is probably one of the more disappointing experiences. After picking up our order and getting home, two bites into our food we realize that the rice had been undercooked. Undercooked rice can be a cause of food poisoning as it can contain spores of Bacillus Cereus. Please make sure your employees are more diligent with food control quality. read more

1. Workers are unprofessional, They don't have proper customers service skills. 2. They don't focus on customers while serving, always serve the wrong thing. 3. Quality of the food is doubtful. A employee was cleaning right next to the food with a wet sponge. 4. Cashier doesn't have a the right attitude he will disturb you multiple times asking you what you are getting while you are building your meal at the serving station. This should be "slow food", not fast food. The most inefficient and unprofessional Chitpole I've ever been. The staff there all looked miserable. They all seem to hate each other. One of the ladies was messing up every single order which was causing significant delay of the line (I wonder if she was doing in internationally coz it's difficult to believe that someone could be that bad). This Chipotle was terrible. The worst I have seen. I walk in and the line was pretty long. Now, I understand that they want to be swift and move the line along, but they are sacrificing quality. The workers had a bad attitude, and rushy. They looked like they did not want to work there. There was no white rice, or chips. Like seriously? The guy behind the counter rushing me by telling me that he's assuming the order is finished because I keep stopping. Popped in with my wife for a quick meal to go at 8.30pm. She got a bowl, I got a burrito. The steak looked like it had been sitting in its bin for half a day so went with a dry and burnt chicken instead. Portions were pitiful compared to other Chipotle locations on the west coast and down south. Despite that the man behind the counter still struggled to wrap my burrito, spilling some of its contents out onto a countertop and then pushing them back inside with a knife. Ordered a chicken bowl that was 80-90% rice with a tiny amount of beans and pico mixed in. There were 7 or 8 chunks of chicken in the entire bowl. Bowl was decently heavy but it was 90% just rice. if I wanted a bowl of white rice I would just go to a Chinese takeout place. pretty sure they should worry less about over portioning chicken than losing their customer base for good... read more

How hard is it to cook rice? Every time I come here it's a dice roll on whether or not it's like eating pebbles. Everything is fine except that they literally don't cook the rice all the way through. If you get a bowl that's undercooked rice (I.e. hard rice) you should not eat it! Undercooked rice contains bacteria (bacillus cereus) that causes food poisoning. Absolute worst and slowest service ever! Took us 40 minutes in line to order a bowl and quesadilla. Only 2 people were working the food assembly line and fulfilling online orders in between every person physically in the store. I was also extremely upset at the lack of covid precautions. At least 15 people in line all on top of each other. This location needs way better improvement! Do not recommend going here - go to ANY other chipotle. Terrible customer service. Went last night and at 8:30pm, there is an announcement that there is no more rice. No rice at chipotle?! Smh. Mind you, they close at 10pm. Needing a quick take away meal to take back to work, tried Chipotle which was located near the office. It is nothing fancy but I like Mexican style food and this was both filling and tasty. If I had to give this location a movie title it would be called nightmare on East Putnam ave- because not only is this location a nightmare to deal with but the people who work there (much like the actors in the film) are just tragic. My friends and I placed an order on Grubhub and our driver was sitting there for about 30 minutes. At first they told him it was coming but then after 30 minutes they told him they never got the order. We then called chipotle and they picked up the phone and hung up. We then called again and began explaining what happened and the associate just hung up on us. The grubhub driver then went inside chipotle when we were on the phone with him and talked to the manager who halfway through the conversation she just walked away... who just walks away mid conversation. He then started talking to someone next to him and it turned out to be another driver who had been waiting for an HOUR AND A HALF. I eat a lot of take out and at a lot of restaurants as well as I am a manager in the hospitality industry and would be fired if I ever just walked away from a transaction let alone hung up on two separate phone calls with out trying to resolve the issue. You know that feeling when you're dead tired and you have an even more tired kid who just finished intense sport practice, and all he wants is his weekly Chipotle burrito. I thought my husband put in the online order. He did not.... And my kid, who is awesome, stood with me in line, with no complaints for 20 minutes because he loves his Chipotle burritos (with extra chicken!!). The kitchen and production line looked fully staffed and were working very hard. They were in constant motion. The workers looked exhausted but kept making burritos and bowls. While waiting in the serpentine line, I spoke with moms trying to get dinner for their families, a ton of hungry teenagers, a cute couple on a date.... They all got fed. My boyfriend and I ordered two burritos through the Chipotle website for pickup at the Riverside, CT location. Upon arrival for pickup, the order was not available. Cashier was unable to find the order in the pickup queue. After my boyfriend showed the cashier the confirmation email from Chipotle of the two burritos, the cashier then answered the phone and walked away, no longer helping us. We then left the store. Witnessed a health violation two days ago. Very unsanitary restaurant. Worker with tons of sweat dripping off his nose going directly into the rice he was cooking. Called the restaurant to bring to their attention. Manager Jose did not care and suggested its due to new employees and that it is a training issue. I open the container and there is only lettuce, maybe half a handful of rice, and 1/4 handful of meat. NO cheese, NO sour cream. also, no urensils and no napkins. WTF!!!
