Chipotle is a place I frequent, so I have a good sense of what to expect. On this visit, I picked up dinner and ordered a chicken bowl along with an extra side of chicken from the new protein meal options. The meal was prepared as ordered. It was hot and overall fresh, which I appreciated. However, I have noticed lately that the overall quality seems to have shifted slightly. One example was the cheese. It appeared different from what I am used to. Instead of being light and easy to distribute throughout the bowl, it had melted into one solid mass and did not pull apart easily. It came up in one full piece, and I ended up removing it altogether. I also intentionally ordered the chicken on the side instead of having them add a double portion directly to the bowl. There have been ongoing concerns about portion sizes, and I wanted to see the difference. The amount of chicken in the side container was noticeably not equivalent to what was in my bowl. The portion that is added to the meal should feel consistent to what is given in the side portion. Chipotle's prices have increased over time, which raises expectations around value and consistency. If customers feel the need to order extra meat just to ensure an adequate portion, that becomes a value issue. This Chipotle location gives the tiiiiiniest servings. I went with my mother recently and she got a very healthy looking steak bowl -- a good amount of meat, toppings and serving of guac. As she was being taken care of, I had a different gentleman who actually scooped up my steak and then proceeded to siphon so of it OFF the spoon before dumping the rest into my bowl. It was a meager serving, followed by all meager servings of the sides/toppings. At the end, my bowl was about half the size of my mom's. As the customer, I'm tried of having to say something or worry about this when I go in. This is on the Chipotle location and how they're trained. This never happens at the newer Chipotle that's on 46, so I am done coming to this location and will only bring my business there. It is tasty, has a decent price point and is relatively healthy (especially when compared health-wise to the big name burger chains). Let me start by saying that. If you are looking for an authentic Mexican meal, Chipotle Mexican Grill is not the place for you. Probably the most Mexican thing about Chipotle is that the word "Mexican" is in the business name. However, all in all, Chipotle Mexican Grill is still a great option if you are looking for a quick fast-food type meal. I usually order the burrito bowl and while I mix it up with the proteins, I woukd say that I get either the steak or the chicken the most. Lately, I have been having the carnitas more and more. This review was meant for the location at 277 high water lane When I requested my meal and they were applying the protein, rice beans, etc. I explained to them what I wanted and when they were putting chicken on my tacos, they were putting a very marginal amount which is less than what their routine amount is I know this because I eat chipotle often and I do not mind paying for extra meat mind you However, the person running the register told the guy making my tacos. Hey did he request extra meat and I looked at him and said I didn't request extra meat. I request the appropriate portion and he ignored me and I said hey did you hear me and he ignored me again so I just left and I said enjoy those tacos and he said have a good day, sir. This chipotle tends to be very backed up and there are areas in which they can grow in customer service. From a food perspective, the new pollo chicken is excellent. I always love to get chips & queso as well. The chipotle app is fantastic and always makes life easier to order on there. I didn't have enough time to pack a lunch yesterday, so my friend and I made a last minute decision to have Chipotle! It's been a minute, so I was totally ready. I placed my order online for an 11:45 am pickup time. The website was easy to navigate and I chose my meal in record time. If you're curious about my order, you know you are... it was a chicken salad, no rice, fajita veggies, black beans, fresh tomato salsa, sour cream, cheese, guac (upcharge!), and their AMAZINGLY delicious Chipotle-honey vinaigrette. I literally could eat that on everything...make sure you get this even if you're not having a salad! I arrived at the time I selected, walked up to the front left of the restaurant and had my order in now time, especially since it was pre-paid. I always love going to this location and have never had a bad experience until today. I walked up and was the only person in line, the girl behind the counter was cleaning the counter, she kept cleaning it and cleaning without even looking up to acknowledge that I was there. after a bit I said "hello" and she looked up said "hi" and continued to clean the counter (which already looked very clean). after some more time I asked her if she was waiting for somebody else to come take my order, to which she responded "no, I'm just cleaning the counter" with a face that was obviously over it/ annoyed, I don't know if maybe she had a rough day. I'm not an impatient person, however coming from the food industry myself I feel that it is basic customer service to at the very least acknowledge that there is a human being standing in front of you, I would have been content with a simple "I'll be with you in one second". Chipotle in Sanford Is a pigsty! Chipotle is always busy because the food is awesome. That being said, the Manager of this location on the afternoon of July 24, 2002, needs better organizational and delegation skills. You have four people behind the line and only two are working- assign one of the stationary workers to empty the overflowing trash bins by the front door. Another employee is going from table to table spreading crumbs around and not even getting them off of the table. Also, not washing the rag between tables or carrying cleaner with him. The line was filthy! Detritus everywhere. When they lifted the empty rice bin to replace it the bottom of the steamer was filled with rice soup. Who doesn't love Chipotle? Fresh ingredients,choice of meats, taco or burrito or burrito bowl! I was so glad when this location opened close to my job but like every location, lunch time is very busy. The lines are long but not as long as the Lake Mary location. The restaurant is in the WP Ball shopping plaza, a great location. I really wanted Chipotle for lunch without the hassle of fighting through the line so I ordered online. I believe this is one the best tools ever. My estimated pick up time was 1245 but I got I call from the manager saying I can pick up my order earlier if I want because they weren't too busy that day. I got there at 1215 pm, parked in the order online/fax order parking space (yes there is an assigned parking space for online/ faxed orders..how cool is that) and my order was ready. What this location does well is the fact that they have a separate line/register for online orders. I was out of the restaurant within 10 minutes. My food was delicious as usual. I ordered the chicken burrito bowl and I love to add a side of their salad dressing because it gives it a little kick. New Chipotle location and I am so excited it's in the neighborhood. There is a small outside seating area with tables and umbrellas for shade, a necessity in Central Florida. The inside is a bit more compact in comparison to other locations, but overall a nicely designed restaurant layout. At this new location it looks like staff are friendly but still working out the flow and some training. Great place to grab some tacos and guacamole. My only issue with Chipotle (not just this location) is that I wish they served fresh jalapeño as a topping. Otherwise, a great place to have some fast casual Mexican food. read more

After waiting in line for almost 20min on a Sat 3pm, they said they have no guacamole at all. To me, that's an important reason why I go to Chipotle. If you're out of something as popular ad guac, you should be letting people know as soon as they walk in. If I knew, I would've gone somewhere else. But since I had waited 20min in line, I got the food anyway. They put very little meat on both my bowls, and when I asked for a bit more, they added a red mark on my bowl. I love Chipotle! Well, who doesn't? I enjoy the freshness of the ingredients with all the additional toppings and the lovely packaging that you can take home with. My usual favorite is their topping with corn in it and the guacamole. This time I ordered about half the amount of brown rice with beans and chicken with all the toppings. As always the chicken was well seasoned, hot and fresh and the service was quick. I was in line for about 5 minutes which isn't bad at all considering it was dinner hour. The restaurant lobby looked pretty empty and very bare. What I mean by bare is they had a very industrial-contemporary type of decor. The one thing I like most about this spot is the location. Right off from the Target parking lot on WP Ball and Rinehart just near 417 and Walmart. The parking lot can be slim during lunch hour because you only have one way in and out. The patio area looks pretty decent. As far as cost, my burrito bowl was $6.99 with everything but they charge extra for the guacamole. If you're on a calorie restricted diet, I would not suggest eating here. I calculated what I ordered and according to my food calculator: 1110 calories! This is the 4th time they have messed up my order on door dash, and I called them they offered to remake it I stated the reason I ordered it was because I just got off from work and didn't want to drive down so just refund it, but they replied we will remake it I said no I want it refunded she said okay I am getting that refund hung up and didn't even give me a refund time.
