Good Chipotle. Staff worked quickly. The place was clean and pleasant. Spacious interior perfect for a group meal. Ingredients were fresh too. The one thing I didn't like is the portion sizes. I know it depends on the location and staff, but I always order extra rice and lettuce and they REALLY held back. FUN FACT: if you order online with the app, you can get extra servings of up to three base ingredients for free (so not queso, guac, meats). Overall, it's good. Second time in 30 days picking up order from online. The chips were once again days old (or tasted like it). Very rubbery, stale. Further, this didn't happen the first visit but our second visit....the chicken salad appeared to be pulled chicken that looked like carnitas. Same with my husbands burrito. It totally appears to be pulled/shredded chicken. Their chicken used to be in nice, cut chunks. Our kids quesadillas appeared like that too. No the thick chunky chicken pieces. They also got one order of salsa wrong (Ordered 3). They' were all green tomatillo and not the pico de Gallo we ordered. To drive over, get home, and then see all this was very frustrating. Next time we'll need to check our order, look at the chicken and taste the chips before we even leave. (If we really feel the desire to go back). I don't know what the training is at this location but my burrito was not even wrapped properly to a point where the wrapper had to add a second wrap around the initial wrap. UPDATE!!! I was encouraged to try this location again. I placed my order with the app. I arrived to pick up my food and it wasn't on the shelf. I stepped to the side. A couple of minutes later another customer came up and his order wasn't on the shelf. The employee came from the counter and spoke with him. Then she went back to work. So, I walked over and said, "excuse me, I'm missing an order." I was instructed to write it down and show my confirmation that I had ordered from the app. I was fine with that. But, the employee walked the other gentlemen's order to him when it was done and apologized and reviewed his order. With me, she gave me my bag and walked away. I am missing a juice box and fruit for the kids quesadilla. And, the burritos aren't even labeled to know which is which. This is my final straw with this location. I'm actually going to complain to Chipotle. Don't waste your money here. I will either travel further to another Chipotle or eat at Chubby's tacos. read more

I cannot stand this location to be completely honest. I walked in one day (was the only one there) and received no greeting at all. The staff just looked at me, and I had to literally ask "can I order?" After a head nod (guess they aren't into verbal communication) I proceeded to build my bowl. The portions were pretty stingy compared to other locations but I'm on a diet so hey whatever. After I checked out, there was still no "thank you" "have a good day" or "bye." Ive been to the New Wake Forest chipotle about 5 times before today, and so far today has been the worst visit yet. I walked in to lane and when I was up the man would mumble so i'd have to ask him what he was saying. I guess he started getting pissed at me so he would talk to me with an attitude for the rest of my visit. I asked for sour cream and there was something in it so he sees it and SCOUPS IT UP and puts it in my bowl. Not only that while he was making my bowl he spilled lettuce on the table thing and there was old lettuce and some yellow thing there before hand. so when he finished making my bowl he brushed all the stuff on the table into his hand and threw it back in the lettuce bucket thingy. It was extremely hot in the restaurant. Was not inviting to dine in. The employees were sweating. It was pretty gross and totally not their fault. I asked someone if AC was broken and they said no it is usually hot in there all the time. They said they have told management but nothing has changed even though many customers have complained about it. Very sad! Come on they can do better for their employees and customers. Tried twice with online orders. Delivery was great. The food both times was just so below quality. Ordered salad first time. About six pieces of steak with other toppings just drowning it. Gave it a second chance and same issue. This time however no dressing included. WITH A SALAD. called restaurant directly and someone named Alex answered. Said he was the manager but would not give me his last name. Explained my issues and he said he couldn't help. Just poor food, even worse customer service. This location in Wake Forest a few door from the Chick-fil-A SUCKS!!! Given the social distancing they have two ways of ordering, wake-in or pre-order. I chose the latter. I was told to come pick my order up at 6:30pm. After a 25 minutes in the parking lot I then had to stand outside for an additional 30. After getting frustrated by the work staff poor customer service and delay i asked for a refund. Two young ladies, one black the other white spoke of 2 different policies. The first one took my name and number then told me it would take 7 days to refund my account. Meanwhile the second young lady said that all refunds would ba made at the end of the day. She thanked everyone for their patience and stoamed back in the building after the 2 had a debate about why they were both out there having to in my opinion chastised the customers for wondering about the extreme wait without explanation. There stood well over 20 people hostage and hungrywith 2 uncertain refund policy. Trying to help keep this local business open had several of us wondering. That would be a question with the proper staff representatives. Folks have options, rude, unorganized and inefficient employees make for loss of income. What a way my time and money. I'll never eat there again. When my order finally made its way out I tossed it in the trash. How many people does it really take to make 2 bowls of food??! They really messed up my order which was quite simple if they only took the time to listen to me the supposingly valued paying customer! Chipotle is a fast paced restaurant and if you really need 3 people squished in 1 line there is a problem. Being in the restaurant business for over 30 years (owner), still at my age I can take on the task of handling that entire line all by myself!! without skipping a beat. It's quite simple. 'Bowl" rice, beans chicken corn on the side of the bowl lettuce on top tomatoes on 1 bowl a dollap of sour cream side of guac. Very simple step by step, I received the total opposite of what I asked for and there were only 2 orders like that. And to boot these were suppose to be create your own meals kids! These young adults need to be trained properly if not it's not going to work! Wake forest folk like what they want very simple. I was not impressed with the service and the containers that the food sits in are very messy and dirty. Presentation presentation! I gotta say I worked at a place like this for almost five years so I know how busy it can get and didn't mind having to wait a minute, but the staff were moving very quickly and honestly killing it! Guy at point was very nice and when the customer in front of me asked him to take some veggies off his bowl he did it the right way and the clean way! This Chipotle is easily the best in the triangle. It's impossible to have everything on the whole line perfect or right off the grill 100% of the time, so I wish people would ease up when it comes to that stuff, but this is a great location. The employees are great people, hardworking, and care about quality. If you're not happy with the portions, you can always ask for more and they're happy to do that for you. I do know, however, that this location can get extremely busy and ordering online or on the app isn't really the best option because they get super overwhelmed! Going through the line usually guarantees you'll have it the way you like it and will save you time when it's busy. I never get sick of this place! read more

By far the worst burrito bowl I have had from Chipotle since 2007. This new store is very convenient to my home - I sure hope they work out all the kinks. This was my second bowl in a row in which something was undercooked or in this case over cooked rice that were huge mushy balls of rice throughout the entire bowl. We have received delivery meals from Chiptole several times during the Pandemic. They always have something wrong in our order. Usually an item is forgotten or something is made wrong. Whenever we order a kids meal the driver always forgets the drink. This also is the stingiest Chipotle. I always ask for extra lettuce on my bowl and never receive it. The burritos are significantly smaller than from other Chipotles. The icing on the cake was tonight when a delivery took well over an hour to arrive. All of the food was cold, items were missing, and the driver just shrugged it off. I am done ordering from them. read more

This place is so RACIST!!!!! The workers in your face will fill a white person plate up with steak and other food but when it's a black person they refuse to do the same. I've been in line behind a white person and saw for my own eyes that they gave a white man tons of food !!!! I wanted a chicken burrito, chicken bowl and 2 steak tacos w/ grilled onions/peppers. The customer in front of me ordered the last of the chicken. Only then did the employee tell the cooked she needed more chicken cooked. Then, I was told that there were no more grilled onions & peppers b/c no one had cut any more up. We opted out to get steak on everything, mistake! The steak was cold and hard. (just not fresh) The taco shells were cold as heck. I recommend if you want Chipotle go to the one on Falls or Capital Blvd. If you want tacos in Wake Forest just go to Moe's or Chronic Taco! read more
