I am a fan of Chipotle but I typically do not patronize this location. The first thing I noticed was the team is not as welcoming as other locations. Next, I ordered a steak bowl, and the serving sizes are much smaller. I was barely given a scoop of steak and I asked if she could put more steak on it and she responded "yeah, if you wanna pay for it" I explained that it is a lot less than other locations and she responded "you can have more if you pay for it' without looking at me. The worst Chipotle I've ever dealt with. I ordered three separate times and each time I didn't receive my food earlier than 1.5 hrs. Ridiculous service and the amount of people that were waiting as well was insane. Usually the food here is above average and the service is fast. The menu is very simple but there are tons of different options. The burritos are good although I prefer the soft chicken tacos. However, the last time I ate there I did not enjoy my food. The chicken tastes old and the guacamole looked as if it had been left out all day. My family will NEVER eat from Chipotle again! Since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, my family and I have order 4 times (delivery) - All from the Wayne, Willowbrook location. Two different times we suffered from food poisoning, and we took a long break (months) off from ordering. Today we ordered again, and it was a disaster! We ordered two burrito bowls: 1 Keto style with extra cheese and double meat, and 1 half & half with a number of toppings on the side (since I often share with my toddler and she doesn't do toppings), and extra cheese, of course. The order was delivered by doordash and came 21 minutes later than expected. The bag was partially ripped, crumpled, and DRIPPING from the bottom. Inside, there were multiple overfilled side containers that leaked everywhere. When we opened the burrito bowls, the orders were both missing cheese almost completely, and did NOT have double meat. Not to mention the fact that they were ICE COLD......not room temperature, but refrigerator cold. Half of the side toppings were missing, and a few were dumped on top of the bowl I ordered, making it inedible for my daughter. (She was super sad to see she couldn't eat the food, BTW). I called the location and asked to speak to the manager. She refused to give us a refund, or her name, but offered to remake the order. I OBVIOUSLY declined, based on the contents of the delivery, and was then forced to call the Chipotle help line for a refund. (Very irritating that the "managers" at store level are not authorized to give refunds) After speaking to customer service, and relaying our current and previous experiences, we were offered a 50% REFUND!!!! Meanwhile, my husband drove the food back to the store and asked to speak to the manager in person....and was declined. (Coward) I was told on the phone by customer service that a 100% refund had to be "escalated" and send to corporate for processing and that they would "be in touch". In times like these, Chiptole customers deserve better....in every aspect of their service. read more

Literally just watched an employee go from preparing peoples orders, over to the garbage can, then back to preparing peoples food, all while wearing the same pair of gloves. Probably the worst experience I have ever had with a restaurant. I ordered online and my pickup time was 3. I got there on time as I like my food warm and don't want it sitting very long. I waited for a half hour and approached them asking if everything was alright, they shrugged me off and said it was coming. After I waited over an hour I came back inside the store, and was told that someone else must have taken my order... I was there the whole time the order was never made. I had an extremely frustrating experience trying to place an order for pickup at this location. First, the Chipotle app would not let me use my gift cards because it was not enough to pay for the whole order (Chipotle online has this ridiculous system where you can only have 1 gift card loaded at a time and you can only use a gift card if it's enough to pay for the whole order. So, for example, let's say you have a gift card for $10 and another one for $15, and you want to place an order for $20. Since Chipotle only lets you load one gift card into your account, it will not let you place an order since neither the $10 or $15 cards are sufficient in and of themselves to place the order. I digress). So, I figured, let me call and place an order for pick up. The lady at the store deliberately picked up and immediately hung up my phone call about 3 times in a row. Someone finally had the courtesy to pick up the phone on my 4th call or so and say "Hi" (not even a "Hello, this is Chipotle" or anything resembling decent customer service). After I explained my situation to the lady she proved to be no help. Frustrated, I placed a pickup order from my local Houlihan's. It was a MUCH more pleasant experience. Chipotle is wonderful but THIS LOCATION is absolutely terrible. I thought it was a freak incident, but so far now, the last five times I have been here, the staff shows almost no regard or deliberation with the food prepared. Beans are simply thrown onto the tortilla without any draining, the preparation is moved along so quickly that ingredients are often mal-distributed, and then wrapped so that the burrito is bleeding liquid with its entrails hanging out. Seeing the obvious butchery in front of them, the staff still hands you this without a second glance. I'm sorry but this had to be said, and I highly recommend you either seek out another Chipotle location or try the Qdoba at Willowbrook Mall. The best Chipotle on planet earth. Fast and courteous service. I go here once a week because they treat their customers right. Was there one day and it was so busy they ran out of steak before they could make more. They had already made my bowl and my wife's tacos and they were sitting and getting cold. Asa soon as the steak was done, they didn't hesitate to throw out our food and make it fresh and then they gave us our meal free, charging only for the drinks. If you want people to come back time and time again and be loyal, this is how you treat them. read more

I can't speak on behalf of going to the store, however ordering food from this chipotle and having it delivered to my house was one of the worst chipotle experiences I've ever had. I ordered in one bowl extra steak and typically the bowl is full when I order chipotle, and this bowl was a little less than half full. I also ordered guacamole on another order and typically if they serve them to you in the serving cup, you can justify getting guacamole because it's seems like a fair amount. If only they served it in the serving cup...I ended up with just about a table spoons worth of guac and when I called to complain...they told me you have to report it to chipotle online. What could be more simpler than a burrito? This humble food has been elevated by this establishment quite well as to fool even a seasoned diner to think it complicated. The flavor profile is distinctly Mexican and yet far more. The chicken burrito is loaded with so much flavor as though it is about to burst. The choices of heat makes for some interesting combination. And the seasoning of any of the meats is perfectly done. The building is minimalist and so is the interior but everything has a purpose. I usually love chipotle. Whenever we travel we stop at Chipotle. The Wayne, NJ location is the worst chipotle I have ever been to. The service is slow, the staff is rude, and they give you smaller portions than other locations. They also routinely get the order wrong. Typically they are bad in person, but when ordering through the app, they are even worse. Tonight they did it again. They put sour cream on my wife's Whole 30 salad, which also had very little lettuce on it. They put barely any lettuce on my bowl despite my asking for extra lettuce and they only gave me half a container of guac for my side of guacamole. read more

There ain't no carne asada fries, chimichangas, fish tacos, taquitos, or the other numerous popular Mexican dishes so be aware that the menu is simple - simple like In N Out Burgers if you ever venture out to the west. Here, you pick your choice of meat (steak, carnitas (pork), chicken, barbacoa (braised beef); to be served in either fajitas, burrito, bowl or salad; and your choice of sauce ranging from mild to hot. I've been here over 10 times, among those 10+ visits I've had 9 of them be a total train wreck. I'm not entirely sure if it is exclusively the night crew (because I always come rather late around 7PM), but they always manage to ruin the night. I don't mind paying extra for additional topics (double chicken) but I expect a proper portion not these skimpy half scoops I seem to get all the god damn time. I asked for black beans and the kid scoops up about 10 beans (I kid you not) and then scoops into the liquid and dumps it on my burrito bowl and passes me along. I didn't realize I asked for bean juice, I'll be sure to clarify this point next time. This is all happening while they have about 5 workers behind the toppings and meats attempting to move the line along. One person grabs my bowl, moves it along, then three workers walk away with a full line (for no apparent reason, and one even whipped out their phone). I'm standing here being very patient, and eventually someone comes after I had two of the employees look me straight in the eyes and do ABSOLUTELY nothing. Avoid this location like the plague, I like to think I gave this place a very solid shot at earning my business but after 10 visits with more than 70% of those visits being train wrecks I can't do it anymore. I'll gladly drive a couple minutes extra to properly get served a simple burrito bowl (a little sad that I need to go out of my way to find someone who can properly stack ingredients in no particular order). That entire night crew needs restructuring or a hefty amount of terminations are in order. I'm not one to go after someone's job, but quite frankly this restaurant's performance is pitiful in comparison to some of the other locations. I could understand if these were legitimate hold ups due to disgruntled customers or another restaurant troubles, but this was PURELY staff incompetence. I called this location today, I was speaking with someone on the phone to order my meal. I gave my card information over the phone and was told to pick up at this location in 15 minutes. I go in to get my order and apparently they never received my order. So the manager I assume, was going back to check and said there was nothing in my name. I told him I was charged for it & he asked what number I called and who I spoke with. I never got a name but the number I called he said was his store but they're not taking orders over the phone only through their app. Which they should make more known. So not only was I charged but I never got my order. He didn't even try to accommodate me knowing that I called his location and was charged for my food. He just kept staring at me and then assisted the next customer. I was standing their for about 10 minutes before I just decided to walk out and go home. I had to now call my bank and dispute this charge. Wasting my time for horrible customer service. Especially during this pandemic you'd think they'd be more courteous. read more

The guy with the two left forearm tattoos, that was next to the cashier from 430-5 pm gave terrible service today. I was asking for more sour cream and he was like "you got it already" when I knew That already. Then I asked the associate who was giving excellent service, Kev, to give me a side of sour cream but the cashier instead gave it to the guy a head of me. So I asked AGAIN for a side and the guy with the tattoos and birth mark on his face slide the side to me with out saying a word. Very let down by the service tonight. read more

I'm normally a huge fan of Chipotle, but this location absolutely broke my heart. From an incompetent staff that just wanted to move us along and give us whatever they wanted to scoop to iced cold food it was an utter disaster. Don't bother telling them your order if you have more than one item because they'll just make up the other items. Six items and 3/6 were completely wrong. They seemed to have a slight attitude when I told them to slow down and allow me to get each item correct as there were different rices, meats, etc. For each person. Then after telling them the salsas, corn, cheese and lettuce on one bowl and to repeat that for a second bowl i turned to give them instructions on other items and when I turned I had about 8 oz of sour cream dumped onto my burrito bowl. When I said I did not once say sour cream on these I was told I did and they didn't offer to remake it. It may feel like I'm piling on, but this experience was that bad. Also if you're hungry you may want to order multiple items for everyone because they're portions are almost half of the other locations and that's with double meat!!!! Save yourselves the trouble and go to another Chipotle or just hit up the Panera next door, they're top notch!!! read more
