As much as I love Chipotle I'm extremely disappointed in their "attempts" to keep customers and staff safe while we are still in a pandemic. It is posted at the entrance mask required yet I saw multiple customer ordering OVER food with no mask on . It blows my mind, especially in an restaurant that keeps the food exposed. I had to leave . This place has horrific customer service and they are always out of items. They tell you they are out of chips when they have bags of chips on the counter, that they claim are only for online order. Then when you order online they refuse to provide them. I had to call to get a refund. 1/28/22: Service is always slow. With long lines there are always workers in the back not doing anything. I understand having workers cooking the food, but there are people doing nothing constantly, and the workers that are at the front move in slow motion. Went there today and I got my usual bowl but this time I was told if I want extra cheese I have to pay a dollar. ok that's not bad but the amount the women (the DM) put on it was minimal. and when she put extra cheese it was very little. Ok that wasn't too bad but it was her attitude about it. She was completely out of line and the eye rolls didn't help and her condescending attitude was to be less desired. I will never go back to that place again. it cost me 8.50 for my bowl, 1.00 for cheese and 4.50 for extra meat. so not worth it. To charge almost $10 for a chicken rice bowl is outrageous but to be cheap with the most inexpensive item THE RICE is even worse. The rice doesn't cover the bottom of the bowl and if you ask for more they'll charge you for that. I've ordered using the app many times without any issues but today was disappointingly different. The wrong food was delivered. Mistakes happen, I told the driver and they took the food back and said they'd be back with the correct order. They never returned. I called the restaurant and the manager Jennifer told me that they indeed gave the driver the incorrect food. I asked when I would be receiving my order and she said I would have to call door dash. The issue here is that I ordered through the Chipotle app and not through a third party app. Jennifer's customer service eroded from there. Instead of helping me to find a solution to a problem that the people in her charge created she was instructing me to contact an outside vendor and ask them to fix it. It was a terrible experience. Why wouldn't Jennifer just say "I'm sorry that happened to you" then promptly prepare and deliver the food? Or another solution would be "I'm sorry that happened, let me contact door dash and request a redelivery" literally anything other than "there's nothing I can to do to remedy an issue that my restaurant created" I'm disappointed in this type of service and I won't be returning to any chipotle. If you want to retain and strengthen a customer relationship then I'd suggest finding way to solve the unnecessary issues that the restaurant staff creates. If this restaurant needs help figuring out solutions I'm happy to help create an action plan that would advance a customer focused mission. read more

This was my first time I have been to a Chipotle Mexican Grill and will posable be my last. It was dirty and I was forced to eat outside because is was so bad. The ingredients where sloped all over the preparation area. The drink machine had a sign stating no ice and the drinks where hot. Oh I wish I could submit this with no stars because they earned none. The thing that really upset me is there is no way to contact the corporate office. I would advise anyone that is thinking of stopping here to avoid it like the pelage. read more

I have gone to this restaurant a few times hoping that it was just one bad experience but this is the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. Wether it is the eye rolling when you ask if they can wipe down the only available table covered in previous quests leftover food, saying that they ran out of lettuce for two weeks straight, being "out of guacamole" 3 hours before they close (before telling customers they are only out because they don't make anymore until the mornings) or completely ignoring the customer standing right in front of them to complete online orders (that they consistently mess up on) when a simple "I'll be right with you" would suffice. Place is always packed and I always order 20 minutes ahead and when I arrive the food is still NOT DONE! When I ask how long until it's done, they always say I dunno... and they always say it'll be done shortly and I always end up standing for nearly an hour at times! Complained multiple times about portion sizes and wait time and nothin changes. The previous reviews are so accurate about the customer service. The two front counter ladies were just unhappy or hated people, or both. The woman making the food didn't crack a smile, barely made eye contact. Just rushed me on through. The cashier was the same way, just ready to be off work maybe? It's not even training on Chipotle's part, it's their personality maybe. Training on customer service in general would probably help them for any situation. The food was good as usual. I never have complaints about my burrito bowl, this is a quick and filling meal and a decent price. Kudos to one of the food prep's, he was really friendly and even had a conversation with me since the woman who prepared my bowl told me they were out of lettuce when really they were cutting it. So happy that there is finally a Chipotle location in Winter Haven, however I do have mixed feelings about it. In terms of customer service, the staff is very friendly and they give you a generous amount of food. Also, the lines aren't too long and it is easy to find parking in the plaza, which is great if you are in a hurry to get a quick lunch. But personally, I think the food (e.g. rice, beans, chicken) is more bland compared to other locations that I have been to. read more

Nice, clean, friendly location. Looks like there are less seats here than my "home" location outside of the Brandon mall. I always get to-go anyway. On my visit this place was absolutely immaculate, floor to ceiling, first thing I noticed. The staff wasn't just cheerful and engaging, they were hustling. I love to see this. I was in and out in 5 minutes, at the height of lunch hour. Of course the food here is awesome, just like any other Chipotle I've been to. Maybe someday I'll get something other than a pork bowl. The WORST chipotle with the WORST staffing ever. It's always packed, they have no people skills. The girl making the bowls sweat in my bowl and gave attitude when I asked for another one. It was gross and I watched it happen. Then she makes me another one with way less than the regular serving she just served- okay be petty I guess. I get to the cashier- I got two burritos with only chicken and they charged me for double chicken. I just paid for it I didn't want to fight, but then they double charged me! $80 total! For one bowl, 2 only chicken burritos. I have been charged twice here before I so I went back and they told me there's nothing they can do and the bitch at the counter said she did not know anything about it. The worst customer service- I waited 30 mins for them to not have anything. A guy who worked there told me once, after 7:30 they have no ingredients- they close at 10! How are you out of product 3 hours before close. I know that's not the stores problem- they need a clean sweep of everyone in there from managers, to cooks, to take out to service. read more

I've been at this location a total of three times and I've always had an awful experience, the young man who actually assembles the food is very pleasant but when I went to pay for my order the Cashier (a lady) not sure if she was the manager was extremely rude and unpleasant from the moment I walked in, I didn't notice the hand sanitizer by the front door and wasn't aware you had to sanitize your hands when entering, which I had no problem doing. After I walked past the sanitizer the lady yells at me and proceeds to tells me I need to sanitize my hands, I of course do it and I place my order, as I'm being rung up I ask if I can get a drink and she says nothing, I repeat myself thinking she probably didn't hear me and she then snaps back with an attitude and says "it's already on there." I was never rude or disrespectful to this lady since I walked in and I'm always nice to fast food working because I know they're constantly dealing with rude customers but this was just an awful experience. Save yourself the trouble and eat somewhere else. read more

Manager Will from this location was super helpful and understanding even after someone walked out of the restaurant after getting frustrated with one of the employees. Great food as always!!! I have to say that my favorite item from here is a meat burrito & the chips with guacamole. You can never go wrong with guac! I really like going to this specific chipotle though, because I've never met such a friendly staff. They always answer any questions I have thoroughly and they just make me feel like an appreciated customer. And they keep the place very spotless. This is a back and forth battle between good and not so good. The customer service is always good. They don't mind mixing your burrito which some chipotle employees won't even do. They do a good job giving you good size portions and will give you extra of the non up charge items easily (beans, rice, salsa, cheese, sour cream). Chipotle is known for their spices on their meats which makes a little spicy for the younger taste buds. Get the carnitas for the picky eater if your little one eats meat. For the veg head stay clear of the fajita veggies unless you watched them come off the grill. After working there, I know how long they sit there and it makes them unpalatable. Try for the standard veggie bowl (both beans are veg friendly now!) with free guac (that's basically your "meat") or the sofritas. The sofritas have a good texture and smoky flavor. For the meat eater in the family, i would go for the chicken or barbacoa. They have the best flavor and they give you a good amount. The steak the skimp on a lot. Try it as a queso-rito where you make a large cheese quesadilla and then add all of your fillings with sour cream on the side. Blackberry izzee and a side of chips and you're good to go for two meals!!!! read more
