How did I not know about this place near my Moms home? Very friendly service and excellent food! Although they have benches outside it's not a sit down restaurant. I drove all the way from Kissimmee to this place and it did not disappoint! Got there around 7:30, and there was only 20 tortillas left, so this place sells out, I'll definitely be calling in advance next time. Cash only!! The tacos here were phenomenal, so savory and filled with flavor. I got the toppings on the side, because with had some picky eaters with me, so I added the cilantro and onions in my own preference. The staff here was super nice, the lady at the window taking orders was so kind of me, I really appreciated it! The tacos were fresh to order and only $1 each! My favorite taco place so far. Not just because of their 1.00 tacos either. Everything is always so fresh. And the long neck Coca Cola is spot on. You cannot get much more humble than a food truck and I have always maintained that the best Mexican food does not come from higher end places, but rather humble places. Whether it be a counter with a few tables in the back of a Mexican grocery, a storefront in a questionable neighborhood, or, as in this case, a food truck, these are the places where I more often than not find possess the best Mexican food in an area. Tacos My Friend offers some stellar food and despite the line, my food was in my eager hands (and my stomach) in a reasonable amount of time.
