July 26 2025 Let me start by stating that this Chipotle has a sanitation grade of 100. That's very impressive, especially with them being directly across the street from a college campus and serving a food that is very popular among young adults. This place can crank the bowls and burritos out of there in short order. My complaint is with the service from the food preparer to the cashier. The preparer was trying to go fast and got ahead of herself. I get the exact same thing EVERY time, a bowl with 3 small tortillas on the side, white rice, black beans, chicken, extra corn, sour cream and cheese. Then she asked if I wanted queso and veggies. I told her yes, only queso on the side please. She then told the cashier, 1 chicken bowl with a side of queso and then she plopped the queso right in the bowl. I told her I wanted it the side. She knew immediately that she had made a mistake, I told her it was fine and that I'd eat it as it was. Then the cashier told me that she was going to charge me for the queso even though it was their mistake. By this time I was confused and slightly upset because I didn't understand having to pay extra for something that I did not want. By this time I just moved to the cashier and told her again exactly what I had originally ordered along with queso and a bag of chips and a drink. While doing this the preparer had made the bowl just how I had ordered it but when she got to the queso she put it in a small clear container while I was pointing at the larger cup and asking for the larger size cup. Anyway this was the worst chipotle experience I've ever had. I understand working in a fast paced environment and I respect the preparers hustle and willingness to get it right but the cashier was just flat out rude, inconsiderate, and condescending! One would think that an establishment that is set up like chipotle where the order is made live in front of the customer that their would be -o- mistakes. Also let me point out that it was 9pm and they were not busy at all. The food was good as it almost always is. The cashier just ruined the entire experience with her, "I'm still going to charge you extra because it was put on your bowl no matter if you wanted it that way or not." That statement from her just made me want to turn around and leave. Yes I'm getting older and not up to date on the latest and greatest in the service industry. But what happened to the customer is always right even if they're wrong? When did it become the standard to make customers pay for something they didn't want or ask for? When did it become acceptable to disregard the customers order and make them pay for something they did not wish to have? The preparers only fault is she was hustling and possibly got ahead of herself and I do respect her hustle. The cashier was just flat out RUDE to me as a customer as well as condescending. read more

Chipotle Mexican Grill - Bag - Fast Food Near Me - Winterville, North Carolina

Not going to say much about this place. I have been eating at Chipotle's for a while now and this particular location seemed off. Just relocated to the area and was excited to eat dinner at one of my favourite places but the experience received was off putting. Upon arrival, at the starting point of ordering to the cashier, the floor was wet, and my assumptions is from mopping the floor. There were no wet floor signs nearby to let customers know that the floor was wet. When it comes to portion, I felt like I was being under served. I was constantly asking the person that was serving me to give a wit bit more. I am not asking to over serve but give me a fair amount of food. When the food was being placed in my bowl, they were just slapping the ingredients on there. The presentation was not pleasant at all. The fruit drinks were way watered-down. There was barely any interaction with customers. From my first impressions, I was a wee bit disappointed at this particular Chipotle location. The expectations set forth by other Chipotle locations were not matched here at all. I have noticed there are two Chipotle locations in the area, I will be trying the next location. I frequent the Winterville NC location very often. They are always out of something. One visit lettuce, next visit cheese, next visit corn, next visit vingerette, one visit didn't open because they were out of gas, today no brown rice. This is unacceptable. read more

I go here about once a month since they've opened and they have steadily been going down hill. Normally, they are just out of random items, but last night was a disaster! I am the 4th person in line and the line isn't moving at all - the person behind the counter isn't even making food. Why? They are out of brown rice - they're literally waiting for the rice to be made. BUT, the people behind the waiting customer don't necessarily want brown rice. After waiting for an insane amount of time, I finally asked her if she could wait on the people who wanted white rice. There were 5 people working - no one thought of that before? Then, I get about half a spoonful of black beans, why? They were making more. It was 7:15pm!!! Not like I was there at closing. Why was food not ready? Then, came the checkout. I paid in cash and waited and waited. Why? Because the drawer didn't have anything but pennies. She had to count my 72 cents in change in all pennies. Why didn't she tell me and I could have used a card? This place is not managed well and it shows. read more

The best customer service I have ever received at a chipotle location! Same great food as all the other chipotles but the customer service in this specific spot really goes above and beyond, always feeling welcomed and the employees are sparking up conversation when I go in. read more

Of the Chipotle restaurants in Greenville this one is absolutely the worst. Three times I have been and the rice was undercooked to the point of having crunchy pieces in it. And twice I have been between 9-9:30 and they were out of at least two ingredients (both times including the grilled vegetables) but since the grills were already cleaned or being cleaned I was informed no veggies would be made and that they were simply out of the other stuff. Tonight I showed up at 9:37 (only going to this location because it was on my way home) and again, no veggies, no corn salsa, and grills being cleaned. Losing the sale of my one little burrito bowl at such a large chain doesn't hurt them, but honestly, whoever is running this branch has about 3% desire to actually perform well at their job. Hire people who stay open when they are supposed to. I wish I had a job where I could just stop working 45 min early everyday! What a lucky bunch of employees. read more
