Because of a two level fusion years ago my hips and SI joint get out of alignment. 99.9% of the time both are able to get it aligned the first time. I cannot say enough good things about the care and expertise of ChiroPlus North and Dr Todd Ruland. I have been a patient of chiropractic since a major vehicle accident 45 years ago, and Dr Ruland has been my Chiropractor for the last 20 of those years--minus a 15 month period I was out of State and in misery because I could not find a Chiropractor with the abilities and knowledge of Dr Ruland. Four months ago, minus one week, I had surgery that required a large incision to the back of my ear to remove a growth. I do not own a recliner so spent 3 weeks sleeping sitting straight up in a living room chair. Consequently, I haven't slept well or felt fully rested since the surgery. Yesterday, I had the 3rd visit to Dr Ruland since surgery and suddenly we both felt the non painful pop that went up my spine to the back of my head. I have been coming to ChiroPlus for about 6 months now, and I have to say I couldn't be happier. Short Version: The chiropractic care is top notch, but it's the people that really make it an enjoyable experience. Facilities are clean and professional. Excellent doctors and staff. Long Version: Stephanie and the other front desk staff are fantastic. She has one of the most bubbly, kind personalities that I have encountered. You can't help but smile when talking to her. She is beyond helpful and makes you feel instantly at ease--which was very needed since I was nervous about going to my first chiropractic appointment a few months ago! The doctors provide the best care possible. As a patient you would have one main doctor, but all of the doctors discuss their patients together regularly so in case your doctor isn't there but you need an adjustment, the others can still help you out. You can tell that they really love helping people feel better. I never feel as though the doctor is doing what he wants to do (i.e. pushing certain therapies, medicines, techniques, etc) but rather that he listens to me, and uses his expertise to figure out my body and what would be best for it. Another plus (haha, no pun intended) with this chiropractor is that they provide very comprehensive care. Over the last few months I have had xrays, adjustments, physical therapy, and other treatments. Not only do they want to get your spine (or whatever part of your body) aligned, they want to strengthen the muscles and make sure you're getting the right nutrition too. They also have a wide variety of post-adjustment therapies to cut down on inflammation, swelling, etc. and I always leave feeling great. Whether its cold laser therapy, a hot pad, a rolling massage table, neck stretching, etc., I enjoy the personalization I receive as a patient. My insurance actually turned me onto this place as one of their designated providers and I'm so glad they did! They work with you on payment, and they even have cash prices if you don't have insurance. Me, my wife and sister have been going to ChiroPlus Clinics for a few years now. My mom has been going for over 13 years. The treatments that we have received from this office is really hard to put into one word, I am long winded and i know you don't want to spend more than a few minutes reading this review. So to make a long story short, Amazing!!!! The office staff is really friendly and very helpful. Dr. Gideon and the other chiropractor in this office give amazing adjustments. Dr. Gideon is the chiropractor we normally see when we need adjustments. He is very knowledgeable not with just adjustments but on how to help you get your whole body healthy. He spends allot of time researching and learning which he passes on to his patients. Dr. Gideon really cares about his patients and takes the time to ask questions about you and how things are going. He really makes you fell like you are part of his family. He also is a good listener, because of this you can tell his adjustments are very precise and accurate. This came in really handy when I crashed my mountain bike. I went over the Handel bars, landed on my right side and shoulder right into a big patch of cactuses, OUCH!!!. Dr Traweek was recommended to my by my Chiropractor who I have great confidence in. He recommended I see the Dr for potential alternative therapies for bone on bone knee arthritis to avoid knee replacement surgery. I made an appointment on September 28th for October 5th was given a time of 10:40 and received a confirm on September 28th with an icon to press and record in my calendar, which I did. I drove over from Denton to Fort Worth on the 5th excited at the potential to have relief from pain. Parking took a few minutes as there was none available. I went in at 10:41, was received by the male attendant and told very matter of factly that I was late. "Your appointment was 10:30, we can't see you now." I proceeded to show him the confirm for 10:40 and he stated he had 10:30 in his schedule, nothing he could do. I accepted an invitation back at 2:00 but not happy with driving back and forth between Fort Worth and Denton. He then told me I didn't fill out the paperwork, which I did online. He told me I was wrong, handed me a tablet to complete it and I noticed it's the exact same paperwork I had already completed and submitted. At that point I decided that no matter how good the Doctor is at adjusting spines his receptionist needed an adjustment in attitude and I won't be treated poorly by someone who earns a living off us paying for their services. I am the customer not someone you treat like an irritation. I will not be seeing this Dr and unfortunately my excitement to potentially find an alternative to surgery was overshadowed by the poor attitude of his attendant. read more

I made an appointment for a "free" exam and X-rays that I had a coupon for. When I went in, they did the exam and said that I didn't need X-rays done. The chiropractor told me that I needed an adjustment so he went ahead and did that. Never mentioned anything about charging for it. Once I got done they said that I owed for the adjustment and ran it through the insurance. I felt completely baited and switched, the "free" coupon was just to get me in the door. I shrugged it off and said oh well, I'll know better next time. Over a year later, I received a bill in the mail for an extra $27 for the x-rays they never did. If they were up front and honest about the charges and didn't bill for services that they never rendered, it wouldn't be a bad place. I refuse to support shady and unprofessional businesses, therefore I will not be returning. read more

After reading these reviews I called to schedule an appointment as a new patient. The lady that answered the phone was somewhat curt in telling me that new patients are only seen at 10 am or 2 pm, no exceptions. So I guess since I can't get there In the middle of the work day I will not be a new patient as I had hoped. I can't express how they have helped me, I could barley walk a block without my lower back , hips , legs would hurt! I caved in after nearly 2 years of injections and went with a Chiropractor. I believe this has saved my ability to function as an older person with lots of back problems and also due to a Motorcycle accident. I was a sceptic of Chiropracotors. Migraines were controlling my life daily without any relief . A Neurologist wanted to pump my body full of drugs for about 8 hours. I could not bring myself to have all those chemicals put into my body. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Gideon Traweek! 1 hour after my first treatment my migraine was gone!!! Gone I tell you! I went in about 8 years ago with shoulder pain. They took x-rays and told me right away that they could fix it. With several visits a week to start and exercise I felt much better soon.
