First off, let me admit that I may seem biased since I work for Dr. Hirsa, but I promise this review is all sincerity and truth. Having gone to multiple chiropractors and worked for chiropractors and integrated medical facilities before, I can say from experience that Dr. Hirsa is an amazing chiropractor. He was able to help release my sinuses when I had a terrible sinus infection a few weeks ago, alleviating my headache and sleeplessness. I have also noticed I no longer have low back pain since beginning adjustments with Dr. Hirsa, and am able to sleep for the first time in months without a pillow under my knees for back support. I have referred my friends and family in to see him after the great results I had myself, and every one of them has been glad they came into the clinic. Not only is Dr. Hirsa skilled in chiropractic, but he also runs his clinic as a family practice, and works with his patients on payment plans and packages so they can afford his services without incurring a huge financial burden. He also doesn't try to force you to come in more than you want to. I have worked for clinics in the past where they would force you to come in 3 times a week for treatments and would call and harass patients until they came in. This is not Dr. Hirsa's style. He will work with your needs, and wants and not try to force adjustments on his patients if they feel they do not need them. For this reason alone I would recommend his care, not to mention his skill level. Lastly, the clinic has the perks of 2 whirlpool tables, the E-Stem machines, heat therapy, a mechanical traction table, and two certified massage therapists, Jon and Fred. Went snowboarding during the holiday and no surprise, i managed to hurt my back. Called Dr. Hirsa at night and was surprise to hear him pick up his phone. He says caller id had my name lol. He goes "ok, now what did you do this time?" He managed to schedule me in the very next morning. He adjusted my low back and even my shoulder. After hearing those audible pops, i immediately felt 70% better. Slept well that night. A little bit stiff, but no more sharp pain. I guess it was only just achy. So yesterday I went for my follow-up visit and happy to report I got my low back at its optimum. I must say Dr. Hirsa always goes above and beyond in helping his patients who are in pain. As the years have passed me by I've found that my body has begun to betray me. It screwed me over big time back in 2005...or was it 2006...(see my brain...it betrays) I was playing in the neighborhood Turkey Bowl game and a friend decided to bring some of his Sabercat buddies...(Good idea...jerk) so we're playing one of them guys gets the ball I go for the tackle and I get chop blocked by my 350lbs friend. Needless to say, I got dropped like a 5 year old getting Speared by Brock Lesnar and my back went out of whack immediately after. There were girls along the sideline so I couldn't cry for my mom, so I just limped on over and lay down for the rest of the day. Only pills and beers got me into the car and home. The next morning I couldn't move anything without pain. Moving my foot hurt, moving my arm hurt and I was bent over like a 200 year old man. Something was wrong. Two days later. Went to Kaiser and they looked at me and said "Oh, it'll fix itself. Here's some pills." WTF no beer?! Fine. Two days later. Called Mom, told her about the Sabercats and football and she was worried. Then I told her I got laid out by a couch potato and I felt the pity, for me, in her voice. She called her friend and we went in to see Dr. Hirsa, bent back and all. After a 10 minute consultation, I was on my back on one of the cool, back adjustment, machines he has in the office. I don't know what they're called but I've lay down on them all and they're all very relaxing and spine aligning. After relaxing on a machine for 20 to 30 minutes, Dr Hirsa came in and carefully starting making simple adjustments here and there and before I knew it, I was standing straight up like a normal healthy human should!!! I'd gone back for a few more visits afterwards and all the while I noticed more and more mobility! Dr. Hirsa is a great guy, who really knows his trade. He makes sure you're informed of your complete situation and how to fix it and he'll give you tips on how to avoid getting re-injured. Dr. Hirsa has been helping me with my sports related injuries for about 4 years now. He's not only a chiropractor who sees you for routine adjustments, he's helped with various injuries I've had in the past few years. When I dislocated my shoulder while playing basket ball, he saw me right away! I had made an appointment with my regular doctor who made an appointment for 2 weeks out. Crazy! Dr. Hirsa helped me to recover from a foot injury I had caused by walking on cement all day at work. He's also helped me with several mountain bike injuries that I just keep enduring because of my love for the sport. I've been going to see Dr. Hirsa since 2006 for a variety of things. Back then i was a bit of a reckless weekend warrior, finding ways to hurt myself through extra curricular activities and recreational sports. From a hip pointer, to rehabbing a nearly separated shoulder, Dr. Hirsa has a good comprehensive knowledge of the body above and beyond just the scope of chiropractic care. It was nice to know that i could go in for an adjustment, but also get care or advice on other phsycial ailments as well. From strictly the back care standpoint, Dr. Hirsa has been a valuable advisor and care provider throughout the years. I've had a stretch where I had Sciatica, that was a particularly painful time of my life... and after proper diagonsis and MRI, we went through a couple of months treatment to relieve the problem. Now i'm dealing with another issue with my midback ( i forgot the actual professional term) and i could not be happier to have Dr. Hirsa to help. General advice on best practices for posture in the office and at home helps along the way too. Above the professional chiropractic scope, you'd be hard pressed to find a better person to deal with as well. Beware of Dr. Hirsa. Dr Hirsa claimed he was unable to file a claim with Blue Cross Blue Shield. But after being forced to pay out of pocket $552.50, Blue Cross Blue Shield fully reimbursed Dr Hirsa for what he was owed. Two years and many hours on the phone later, I am still out $552.50 and have a debt to my insurance company for cashing the small reimbursement that I did receive. The $552.50 is the remaining amount I am still owed AFTER my insurance sent me a check reimbursing my payment. The other reviews seem fine but I paid far more than I believe I received service for. I was referred to this place by a good friend of mine. I never have been to a chiropractor before and had heard many.....stories regarding them. My workout consists of weight lifting in the gym. I started noticing a pain in my right shoulder which later developed into numbers in my right index finger and thumb. Then came a dramatic loss of strength. I was gonna go to Kaiser but they just give you pain pills, take an X-ray and send you to an 8 hour physical therapy once a week. Oh no....uh uh. My friend referred me to this clinic. Man I thought all chiropractors did was adjust backs and necks. Turns out that in addition to that there are several techniques and procedures they use in conjunction or separately to treat a myriad of maladies. I was in a lot of pain and couldn't go to the gym. My right side probably lost about 60-70% of its normal strength. After a few sessions with Ali Hirza my pain went completely away. My pinched nerve was cured and I got all off my strength back! Let me tell you I was real spooked this was gonna require surgery to repair. I thought I may have to give up the gym for good. Now I am not gonna lie....I had to go more than once and depending on your injury or discomfort you should expect the same. But the staff is courteous and they take almost every insurance. It can't be cured in one visit which people expect. It takes a few visits and different types of treatment to achieve pain free results. All I know is I now can go to the gym 4-5 times a week now, every week and so far I have had no pain nor any of my previous symptoms return. A little over two months ago, I took a nasty fall off my bike onto a concrete driveway, causing major injury to my left arm, hand and two fingers, both of which were scraped hard enough to see down to the bone. Fortunately, I was close to home when it happened and was able to rapidly stop the profuse bleeding by packing the wounded fingers with Dr. Schulze's Cayenne Powder and applying band aids. After a few days, when some of the shock had worn off, I began to assess the damage. Though my fingers were heavily taped, my hand massively swollen and my left arm barely able to move, I didn't think that anything was broken. At least I was hoping so, based what I read on numerous forums and various sites across the internet. Within a week or so, the deep gashes on fingers were healing up nicely, but the hand was still pretty puffy and my arm movement was quite painful, with an extremely limited range of motion. At this point, I realized that some sort of therapy was going to be necessary. But with no job and no insurance, a doctor's care was not in the cards. So I started researching local chiropractors and physical therapists, hoping to find someone who was both good and affordable. Fortunately, I came across Dr. Hirsa on Yelp. After looking over the Chirowithin Reach website, which lists an impressive array of advanced healing modalities, I gave the office a call. Coincidentally, Dr. Hirsa happened to answer the phone. I told him what had happened and he said that was sure that he could help me. He said he would do a full evaluation on the first visit and we would go from there. Though his office does not do x-rays on site, he had a friend who he could refer me to, if x-rays were needed. Of course, cost was a major concern, so when informed that the first visit was only $65 for cash customers, I made an appointment for the very next day. As soon as I met Dr. Hirsa and his wonderful assistant Jenna, I knew that I had been guided to the right place. The initial exam was very thorough and after multiple tests with regard to the injured areas, Dr. Hirsa agreed with my self-assessment that I had not fractured anything. He estimated that it might take anywhere between three to six months to regain full functioning. Much longer without some form of physical therapy. He then outlined a treatment protocol which included chiropractic, electro-stim, ultrasound, low-level laser and Advanced Release Technique... taking the time to patiently explain the benefits of each. I have now seen Dr. Hirsa twice a week (at just $40 per visit) for past eight weeks and have made tremendous progress. My arm, which after the fall was neither strong nor flexible enough to even brush my teeth, is now about 95% better. The hand remains a little sore and the two injured fingers are just beginning to bend as they should, but I have no doubt that they will eventually come around too. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the care I've received and have already referred three friends. Having been to numerous chiropractors over the past 25 years, I can honestly say that Dr. Hirsa is not your typical "bone cracker". His in-depth knowledge of anatomy and thorough understanding of the holistic nature of the human body, far exceeds any other chiropractor I have visited. Plus Dr. Hirsa has been quite supportive of my own between-visit rehab efforts, freely answering questions and offering advice on how to best augment the in-office treatments. Dr. Hirsa "Doc" is super cool and wonderful! I have always wanted to try a chiropractor, but never got around to it. Then I purchased a groupon to a local chiropractor, and figured that I would give it a try. Well, I got an x-ray of my spine and I realized that I really do need to get my back and neck fixed! The doctor there tried to sell me this neck roller thing? for $200 and/or sign up for a treatment plan which includes that machine. Of course, if you pay more upfront, each treatment was going to be cheaper... The treatment plan was for 3 months. I feel like a treatment plan really should be personalized based on what you need fixed, so it may take longer or shorter for some people, but I heard him selling the same plan to the patient before me! With the plan, you have to follow their "wellness" plan also... Basically lose weight, eat better, etc. If you don't do the things recommended, and your back doesn't look better, they drop you as a patient! Anyways, I paid to get adjusted once, just to see what it was all about.. I laid down, he massaged my back with a hand held massager for a few minutes, then adjusted me... It really wasn't that great. Then my best friend Stefanie recommended Dr. Hirsa, she works there also, so it's a plus to get to see her when I come in for my treatments. The Doc hasn't tried to sell me a thing! He has some products at his office, so I know he sells things, but he hasn't "recommended" anything unless I ask about it. My treatments take longer than seven minutes, so I feel like I'm actually getting something for my money! This is how my usual treatment goes, I come in and get massaging pads put on areas of concern. This machine really massages my muscles! I mean it makes my muscles twitch, like it does when your body relaxes. Then I lay on this table, for about five minutes, that has this hard ball that rolls along your spine. It sounds painful, but it really makes your back feel nice. Lastly, I get adjusted. I am a believer that when you need Chiropractor care that you need to care for the muscles as well. I have been to chiropractors that just do an adjustment and sent you home. Dr. Hirsa not only cares and wants you to feel good ASAP, but he understands that the muscles are what hold the bones in the position that then need to stay in. I'm not one to Yelp every time I have a rant or rave, however I find it Yelp-worthy to share when it comes to exceptional service and trust that whomever I yelp will not be a letdown :D If you've ever considered seeing a chiropractor, Dr. Hirsa is very knowledgeable in the treatement and prevention of chronic back, shoulder and neck pain. My family and I have been going to him for at least the last 5 years. He is thorough and provides the utmost level of care and service to each of his patients from educating proper positioning at your desk or in your car (the two places you probably spend the bulk of your day) to adjusting and realigning your spine. His office also has a masseuse that gives THE best shiatsu massages. My grandparents actually love going to see Dr. Hirsa because their treatment includes massage therapy in addition to adjustments! Once you get a chiropractic massage, it's hard to go back to getting a "regular" one . Pricing for care is very reasonable whether or not your insurance covers it. I've sent several friends and co-workers to Dr. Hirsa and we all continue to see him as needed. Dr Hirsa is amazing. I have been going to him for about 2 months now and he has improved my sports related injury significantly. I had partially torn my pectoral muscle and my strength and flexibly was limited. I have been doing ultra sounds to break up the scar tissue as well as some stretching exorcises and now I have better range of motion and my strength and confidence is coming back. In January I started doing a Jillian workout at Curves and at 57 yrs old my body is getting toned!! April comes around and there is a side plank to do and oops I felt something in my right upper arm/shoulder muscle and kept going anyway!
