Despite his what he considered comedic attempt to help me, Dr. Lee was very short and rude with me.. when respond responded back that I didn't feel that that was necessary he proceeded to threaten to not serve me. We wasted a couple of gallons of gas and risked our lives driving Highway 17 for a 10:00 am appointment on Saturday morning. I went to a drug clinic on a Saturday afternoon. Happen to mention to Doctor Mckenna how is having problems with my shin splints. When he was done, I was able to walk a little better. Dr. Kim was great, as my first time there, he was thorough on all my issues, asked a lot f questions about my health and well being, asked what I was looking to get out of the session. Told me what I needed to do, to become more flexible in my body. Dr Kim is a very gentle and respectful Dr who is very patient to explain your condition . He won't press too hard if he senses your discomfort can not stand with that high intensive strength. So I rarely write reviews almost ever. However, today changed that. I used to be a regular patient of the Joint and today I was really hoping to get in for an adjustment/potentially sign back on given some excessive lower back issues. First I tried the location at the plant, they were too busy to take me on in the last hour of the day and understandable as I could see both waiting areas full. The receptionist there was helpful and gave me some forms to redo since it's been a while and told me to try another location. So I call this location in Camden and got no answer. I decided to drive over with my paperwork completed at this point. I arrive, no one inside waiting or as far as I was aware getting adjusted. The receptionist who didn't answer my call then decided to question me on why I didn't go to the Almaden location, rather than try and help me speed things along and get in and out. He then tried asking Dr. Kim if he'd give me an adjustment stressing "23min left today". To which I heard him decline. At this point I got mad and just left. No where is it posted a time line of how long it takes! Back when I was a regular I was in and out at any location less than 15min. In my line of work after a long day and I have 30min to go in a shift I'll get a service call and rather than worrying about the 30min I gear up and take care of my clients/contacts. My advice to anyone looking into this place, try finding one where they're not concerned about the clock and going home. Picking up the phone, or even addressing why it can't be done would've gone a long way with me. read more

I've gone to many locations, this location has to be the best one for my boyfriend and I! My boyfriend has been having this lingering neck tension & Dr. Kim did an amazing job at relieving his pain. The office is clean and typically less crowded than some of the other locations and the staff here has always been very friendly and helpful. I came in here after rushing out from work just to get some relief. I had a lot of shoulder and neck pain and definitely felt much worse after the adjustment than before. I don't feel my target areas of pain were worked on accurately if at all and almost felt rushed out. Thankfully I have a foam roller which seemed to be much more affective then the adjustment at the joint. read more

When I came to The joint Chiropractic Camden branch I had no expectations if my pain will be relieve or not, in fact I was too scared for my neck to be adjusted because of the chronic pain I'm feeling. I don't have any experienced how the chiropractic works. Then I met Doctor Julie Lee, she explained to me how the body works specifically the spine and how the adjustment will give me comfort. My pain started from my neck down to shoulder, to upper back, lower back, legs and more. With my neck, before the adjustment I cannot turn much to my right and left very stiff and painful, but after a few adjustment the pain slowly disappeared and totally gone. I felt really good and no more discomfort and aching. Doctor Julie also adjusted my lower back, shoulder, legs and other areas and I felt that the pain diminished. Now I'm hooked getting my adjustment every week . I highly recommend Doctor Julie and her staff at The Joint Chiropractic Camden Branch because they are truly amazing. First time coming to a Chiropractic the Wellness Coordinator up front was so friendly and helpful. The paper work is a little bit long. Dr. Kim was the only doctor there that day. While he was helping me relieve my pain of neck pain and upper back. He reassure me that everything is ok that everything will feel better after the initial adjustment. I have been to several chiropractors over the last 20 years, so I have a range of experience. I have been shopping around in the area because I moved here a year ago and my guy is in Menlo Park which is just too far of a drive. Well, this was my worst experience by far. The $29 intro special, which is a nice price, was an utter waste of money as well as my time and effort. In fact, I believe a refund should be forthcoming, but that seems like it would be more trouble than it is worth. This started with a horrible first impression. I had a 10am appointment. I arrived a few minutes early which is the customarily polite thing to do - 9:57am to be specific. The sign said closed, but I figured they just had not flipped it yet and I would start my paperwork. I was told by the receptionist to leave and come back when they were open. I was shocked and dismayed. This was a bad sign to say the least, but I complied and thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Next, the dujour chiropractor was utterly ineffective. I could feel her lack of self-confidence and fear to apply the needed amount of controlled pressure to re-align my back. JFYI, I do not have any injuries. I am a long time practitioner of aikido and I am acutely aware of when someone is holding back because they don't trust themselves: this comes from inexperience and fear of hurting the person, so they don't go for it fully and thus fail in their attempt to complete a movement. The chiropractor was fully aware of her lack of ability to provide me with satisfactory service. Her tone was apologetic and was just short of saying it outright. This place has the same business model as Happy Feet. High volume, low price, and middling to low quality practitioners. And it is a practitioner lottery; they don't have a dedicated chiropractor so you never know who your going to get or their skill level. And just my luck, no bueno for me. read more

All of the staff at the Camden Park location are wonderful! Being able to walk-in at any time is super convenient and I am always in and out really quickly. They are attentive to my needs and I always feel better after a visit. I have to bring my toddler with me most visits and they are all uper sweet to him. The Joint unfortunately did not live up to my expectations. My back need alignment at the neck, the shoulders and the lower back . The doctor did nice work putting my neck back in . But that was about it . My shoulders and lower back when he could not get it on the first try he did not continue to try until he did . But wanted me to sign up to come in twice a week . I feel my money would have been much better spent going and seen Linda at the massage parlor at 85 in Camden for an hour for $60 instead of the first time special for $30 for 15 minutes from the joint! read more

They did a 3 minute adjustment and told me thats all I get for $29 intro. Then I can only assume that is all I get for the normal $40 fee. Its supposed to be a discounted price, not half an adjustment at cost. i filled out paperwork for 10 minutes. We talked about my problem (which wasnt fixed) for about 30 seconds. Otherwise all they wanted to do was sell me on reoccurring visits. As i mentioned ive been going to the chiro since i was 14. I understand their importance....but i go to ones that care about my problem and not about selling me. I wont be going back. The positives: The front desk lady was nice and they gave me an ice pack. This review is for the Camden location. The staff were very friendly, and knowledgeable. The office very clean and welcoming and the background music was calming. Since this was my first time visiting a Chiropractor I was a little scared, but the young lady who greeted me assured me I had nothing to fear. Dr. Le first examined me, then explained what was going on and what she was going to do to alleviate the pain. After a pop here and a pop there, the pain at the back of my neck and shoulders that has sat there for 10+ years was gone. My shoulder and leg pain gone too. Dr. Le was able to take what felt like a 20lb sack of potatoes off my shoulders right away. I walked away pain free, and slept like a baby that night. Chiropractor can use two way to work with patients. 1 - fix issue at once; 2 - make a minor improvement and propose you visit office weekly. Good chiropractors choose option 1. Chiropractors gets choose option 2. Their foal is to make money instead of treat you help. I used Chiropractors in other states many times. I know a difference. I gave a chance to this office twice, with two different doctors. The pain usually return in 2 hours after the visit. Don't use them. read more

I think I like this location better than the one over at The Plant shopping center. The dr here has a motherly vibe, and she gives me advice on stretches and how to position my back when lifting and doing other things at my relatively physical job. she does more physical adjustments than dr Anna at the other Joint franchise. Anna sticks with relatively simple adjustments: neck, mid back, hip. This dr does things a bit more dramatically, having me roll half-off the bench and what not. I really look forward to seeing her. I haver their monthly plan ($59 for 4 adjustments on a month-to-month basis, $49 a month for a 6 month commitment). so inexpensive! I really want more people to know about this so they continue to stay open. This location is convenient for me (in the lucky shopping center, next to beach hut deli), and parking has never been a problem). read more

I am VERY happy with both doctors at this facility. My insurance is terrible, and doesn't cover Chiropractic much. My co-pay at my old place was $22, here I pay $14 a visit. I actually find it more convenient to drop in. Not just because I'm never late to an appointment, but also the wait seems shorter than even if you did have an appointment. The one time I came when it was busy, I went next door and ate lunch, no problem. The way it works in case not clear, you pre-pay monthly for four visits ($59) and you go anytime. I singed up a few months ago, so I pay $12/visit, and $49/month (winner!~) If you need a fifth visit, then its $14/ no rollovers. What else can I say? The facility is clean, the staff courteous, and the adjustments? Every bit as good if not better than previous doctors. For the reviewer that gave them 2 stars and said its too far? I see no less than 10 other locations in San Jose... seems like a fake review or perhaps before those locations existed. Not the Joints fault you live far away.. der. read more
