I'm cautious about anything permanent, I trust her. I get compliments on my brows and eyeliner. So far, 5 people have asked me for her contact info. 2. She individualizes each person's procedure and listens to what end effect is desired. She noticed that I raise my eyebrows a lot in conversation, so adjusted my eyebrow design to work with it (so I wouldn't look shocked/crazy). 3. I'm not a stunner, but Yuriko has helped my face look like a put together version - AND I don't have to do my brows or eyeliner daily. Experience 1. Yuriko has years of experience and training from both Japan and the US. 2. She continues to keep up with industry standards and products. She goes out of state for training, product shows. And I wear contacts so my attempts at "grooming" my brows is actually laughable. I've now got "brow style and color" that looks great all the time! Her office is across the street from St Louis Drive In, small parking lot up front. You message her when you arrive and get the code to the door that's closest to the street when she's ready. Up the stairs which look dark but then opens up into her bright, airy, lovely studio! She took less than 45 min and stands by her work. I had naively asked for a less dramatic and more subtle lift but it did my hooded eyelids no favors and I wasn't happy about how it looked. I asked if I could rebook a week later and she got me in right away and gave me a lovely dramatic lift that I am so pleased with and she didn't charge me for the re-do. She also does some advanced facials and microneedling and tattoo makeup. I already booked my appt for my next lashlift and a brow shaping. Ansje is skilled, knowledgeable, and so professional- I'm so happy that she's set up shop in Kaimuki! Also btw she said newer perm solutions now don't require the no getting wet for 24-48 hours but just 4 hours! So glad I don't have to wear swim goggles in the shower anymore!
