I go here for their be thui & vietnamese blood sasauge (doi huyet). Haven't had anything else from here but the place looks tiny. They were all types of food including chao (Vietnamese porridge), bun Bo hue, bun rieu, all sorts of do nhau stuff, etc.

This review is so long overdo. This is a family owned business and they really work hard here. I know moat of the brothers and honestly this is the moat honest review. Not because they are friends but first and.foremost I am a customer of theres. If you don't believe go check it out yourself They have best flavored porridge in bolsa. I hate being sick and everything is so bland I.e. chicken noodle soup or regular porridge. No flavor whatsoever so I drenched it with hot sauce but here thats not a problem here. I also come here when we like to drink.at home and order the be thui so good and fresh. I know some of you don't like aka the vietnamese pizza aka blood pizza but its so darn good. You snooze you lose. A couple weeks or a month before Chinese new year they usually have the plants out for sale for new years. Every year I get mines here and I don't know anyyhing about flowers and they usually pick out the ones the best ones fir me. Really honest people here. So if you need plants or any drinking food come here. Cheap good food and you wont regret it. I heard today that they also have pho here too

Dank ass fried rice and ribs

Probably the only place to get the rare pho tai be which is the most amazing rare beef you'll have. It comes from a younger cow which has a more tender meat. The broth is also always amazing it comes in a hot pot so your broth stays hot. Highly recommend the fried rice and short rib combo. Best tasting short rib for the money.

The prices are very cheap , I mean you can get rice and steak for 7.56 and this family business is always busy in the morning with customers

This place is a authentic home cook style owned by a family. They remodel the place to make it even look better and cleaner separating the market and restaurant. The food is very tasteful and at a reasonable price, The waiters are nice and always happy to help, and it's very clean and the food is just amazing

Honey might in the baking aisle, or it might be in the jelly and jam aisle, or it might be in the third out completely unrelated to the previous. Secondly. The produce section and the meat section are tiny and constantly out of what you actually need to make a meal. Thirdly. There's a homeless man in the parking lot whose job it is to consistently be present during working hours, and to yell at people who are packing groceries into their cars. Fourthly and most importantly. They have undertaken to a replace as many cashiers as possible with machines, and we have undertaken so severe the cost-cutting measures that it is now entirely possible to check out your batch of groceries while the next person in line is still packing theirs, and the previous person in line is piling groceries on top of yours. Comedy results, or tragedy as you prefer. Myself, I would prefer to visit is supermarket that sells a decent selection of items at market prices. You would do as well.

I buy Spam regularly, so I know what it is supposed to look like--it should be a light pink color, not dark. I brought it back to AR Supermarket, not just because I wanted a refund, but because I wanted to let the store know there might be a problem with this batch. They should check the other cans, and if they have the same issue, they should remove them from the shelves to protect customers. Unfortunately, the manager--an older Korean gentleman with glasses whose name I don't know--had a very poor attitude. He insisted that the dark color was normal. I showed him the Spam and pointed out that the top half was dark while the bottom half was pink. I asked him, "If this is normal, why are there two different colors in the same can?" After seeing that, he had nothing more to say. As a regular AR customer, this is the second time I have experienced spoiled food from this store. That is very disappointing and makes me question the quality control of the products they sell. So no more shopping at here

Shopper drive from miles around to hit up what is generally considered the best Vietnamese market in Orange County; unfortunately, they all try to park in this awkward parking lot that serves a zillion other businesses (including Seafood Cove II and some cheaters from Asian Garden Mall across the street). Don't give up, as there's plenty of in-and-out here. Great prices on fresh vegetables here and we scored ramen on sale. A top top top selection of cookie/cakes in gift box style; don't be surprised if you get one of those from me. Tons of other non-food items too -- I even bought a rug. Load up your car and then up to Seafood Cove for dim sum. Then, stay in the shopping plaza for amazing boba and a haircut!

Technically…read moreit's in Garden Grove, but it's basically Anaheim already (Just 11 minutes from Disneyland.) The store isn't huge, and the layout is a bit tight, but the selection is surprisingly broad with tons of Middle Eastern staples. As a Halal market, there's no pork at all, but what did surprise me was seeing camel ground meat, plus things like tripe that's definitely not my everyday grocery finds. There's a giant section of nuts and dried fruit (almonds, pistachios, cashews, pumpkin seeds, all the goodies). Keep walking and you'll hit a full wall of colorful spices from all over the world, enough variety to make me stare for a while. They also have an entire aisle dedicated to tomato pastes and sauces, both imported and local, which is oddly satisfying to compare. Their fresh flatbread is supposed to be popular, but I went in the evening and it was already sold out. They also carry a tiny Asian section with Korean ramen and a few Japanese/Korean sauces and rice. Fun discovery: the drink section has Egyptian Coca-Cola in glass bottles, made with real cane sugar similar to the Mexican version but definitely different from the U.S. corn-syrup Coke. Near the exit there's a small bakery with pretty decent-looking cakes at good prices, plus a little food hall (including Kabab We Kofta serving Egyptian dishes) and a perfume/accessory shop. Overall, it's a very Middle Eastern-leaning market with lots of unique finds. If you like exploring international ingredients or need things you won't find in American grocery stores, this place is worth a stop. And if you're hungry afterward, there are several Middle Eastern restaurants nearby like Sababa Falafel Shop (Palestinian) and Damascus House Cuisine (Syrian). The only negative is the employees are not friendly. When you ask an employee if they have a certain item, COMPLETE WITH PHOTO IN HAND, I've had them look the other way as if they don't speak English or they say "NO" without even looking at your photo. Fortunately, this is not always the case, but I've had that more than once. Some are helpful, but none are very friendly or overly accommodating. They also have the "fish fry" area if you'd into that. I've done it a few times when I can find fresh fish that meets my liking and it does turn out delicious and, of course, beats cooking it yourself. For meat, I grabbed ground beef, pork neck (currently on sale for $1.99/lb), and chicken breast. Prices were definitely reasonable. For produce, quite a few items were cheaper than H Mart, including enoki mushrooms, Japanese yam, daikon, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and carrots. That said, the Japanese yam didn't look very fresh this time, so I ended up skipping it and buying it at H Mart instead, even though it was a bit more expensive. Some items were priced about the same as H Mart, like napa cabbage ($0.99/lb), onions ($0.39/lb), and bean sprouts ($0.99 per pack). One change I noticed is that cucumbers are now pre-packaged instead of being sold loose, so you can't pick them individually anymore. They're also slightly more expensive than H Mart now. They also had a great deal on Driscoll's strawberries, $0.99 for a 1 lb box, which is definitely worth picking up. Overall, still a great spot for affordable grocery shopping, especially if you're cooking at home and want to save a bit here and there. (visited on 3/31/2026)
