Most of their produce is grown right on the farm, with the remainder sourced locally. We've found the vegetables to be consistently fresh and high quality, and the pricing is very reasonable. Their corn is a standout. It's fantastic once their own crop comes in, usually in early July. Before that, they offer very good corn from Georgia, and everything is clearly labeled by origin, which we appreciate. Come apple season, the selection is excellent, with a wide variety ranging from familiar favorites to more unique local types. We always look forward to opening day at Foppema's. It's become a bit of a seasonal tradition for us.

It had a dip that had a quart of yogurt has some slicing cheese on burgers. It had the kind of crackers it had a cream cheese. It had about seven different items in the bag for $25. I really felt that was a very good value Because it's directly from the farmer. They had a lot of good deals today. They are fresh local meats and cheeses pies from humble pie company and waffle. They also had ice cream from like five different companies. This was a lot of fun so glad I bought the ticket. It was only $10 and well worth the price. My intentions had to take my grandkids up here so they can see the cows and stuff and they can get ice cream a different day.

At first I was a little frazzled when I realized you need to order on the website and then come down and pick it up. This was no problem. I called back from the parking lot, placed my order, and they brought it out and put it in my car. I'm sure if it was a busy time this may have taken longer. Bottom line: they are doing this the right way. I had no physical contact with anyone so all i needed to do was wash the groceries when I got home, which I do anyway! Great service. Decent selection for a country store. Friendly and helpful staff. Much safer than going to the grocery store for us and for them. I highly recommend this business.

Fresh high quality produce and an amazing selection for such a small place. If they don't have it you don't want it. We've all grown up on mediocre fruits and vegetables because supermarkets buy it out of season and ship stuff in. I have been blueberry picking since I was a little kid with a coffee can hanging around my neck with a string of yarn. I always have & always will love the experience. I have been to farms in PA, NC, & SC. This was my first in MA. When we arrived, we met the owner, Bill. He was very nice & directed us to the bushes & gave us our buckets. My first observation: the bushes are enclosed in netting, you have to enter the area through mesh doors. Okay, smart move- keeping the birds out has enabled the bushes to have a HUGE crop. Every bush was bursting with large, ripe berries. We picked nine pounds of berries in no time, it would have been easy to keep going. The charge was $30, much less than you would pay in the stores for this quantity. The property was beautiful, and the farm was the perfect size. I'm happy to support local farmers, and we'll be back! Bonus tip: blueberries freeze well, so why not pick extra?!?

I went to the last Saturday of the winter market season (March 27th). The "market" was in the auditorium of the Johnson Elementary School. It was literally the size of my living room and had about 8 tables total. There was only one table with actual produce (and I could only see potatoes and tomatoes on the table). One bread vendor, one tea vendor, one fish vendor, one cheese vendor, one egg vendor, and one chicken vendor. The tables were sparse - most of the vendors opting to keep their wares in coolers so it was hard to tell exactly what was being sold. The space was so small, and there were so few people in there, that it was kind of awkward to even go in. I dunno, I appreciate the effort and love this idea but this one missed the mark. Get yourself to the Wayland Winter Farmers Market instead.
