02.01.2019 Stopped by here before picking up some sushi next door. It was hard to choose just a few from everything they had available. So I guess I'll have to come back another time. Today I chose a small Key Lime Tart, a slice of Tiramisu and a huge slice of the Mocha Roulette. The Key Lime Tart was not as tart as I'd like it to be. The crust was not flaky but more like a shortbread. The tiramisu was good. I didn't taste much coffee or rum flavor. But it wasn't too sweet either. The Mocha Roulette has great mocha flavor and was a great serving size for the price. I believe the tiramisu and the Mocha Roulette might have been the same price. I will definitely come back so I could try the other desserts I didn't pick out this time like the coffee cake, fruit tart, cookies and chocolate croissants. read more

Yesterday was the first time I stepped foot inside of Choco bakery. I feel like I walked into heaven! I was immediately greeted by the staff behind the counter as my eyes saw all the delicious treats inside of the case. While I was tempted to purchase one of everything, I ended up taking home a delicious iced hazelnut latte and a special of the day which was a croissant with mascarpone cheese and a chocolate drizzle. My friend purchased an array of goodies, including some baklava that she shared with me. OMG it was delicious! I will definitely be back. Hidden gem! I was struggling to find something for mother's day present that is open and available during this time. It just happened I was in Chino hills area and when I yelped, this place pop up 1st. With review almost 5 stars, I decided to try this place. Came in and there was some people in line following the 6ft distance. Decided to get 2 different chocolate cakes, 1 cheesecake and 1 tiramisu. Got 5 boxes of the same thing (total 20 cakes for $80) not too bad consider the size of the cake. Ate one of the chocolate cake and it was good! Rich in chocolate, with a perfect bitterness and balance of sweetness. Haven't tried the other but I'm pretty sure it will good as well. The coffee cake was not good and we stopped after a couple bites. The Oreo cake is delicious and light. The lemon bar was good. It could have been that I went at the end of the day instead of when the beginning of the day when things were fresher. On January 2/2025 @ 3:45 pm I came inside to buy a few pastries for my office. I understood one staff had to take an order from another customer, but another staff was washing dishes & just kept staring back at me. Once the other customer was done placing their orders & left, neither said anything to me. Then the girl washing dishes finally asks me what I wanted. What? I couldn't be serviced & helped the same time as another customer? She told me her co worker was taking orders. I got that! But why couldn't she take my orders while another was busy? I asked her that question- but she kept deflecting stating her co worker was busy. Again I asked her why she couldn't take my order? She still remained so darn rude. Very disheartening experience and poor customer service if you want to cancel an order or unhappy with an item. I had 2 family celebrations within a week of each other. All I wanted to do was cancel the second cake order that I prepaid for because the first cake ordered was not a hit. Only 1/2 of it was consumed. I had to work for a resolution and was made to feel like my patronage didn't matter. Sure it was told to me with a smile, but I am no fool. Especially after wasting time and energy. Business is business and employees should have enough confidence to troubleshoot a simple solution and not leave a customer to resolve a refund no matter what the amount is. Regardless of whether or not the owner was on a day off... I was told by 2 employess to e mail, DM and call the owner to figure out how to get my money back. It took 3 days and all MY effort to close this matter. The bottom line is, the employees put it on me to resolve a simple refund, and the owner didn't care enough and thought I was mean. She told my husband that when he had to revisit the bakery again, to process the refund. I really give 0 stars. It doesn't matter how good a product is- when you don't care enough about your customers, you will lose them. Let's be real, not everyone will like every product. Your employees should know how to resolve that on the spot. Own it and train who represents your product on all business days that you are open. You think I care that you, the owner, were off? I was not mean and I was not worried about my refund. Infact, I was pretty patient and offered solutions that your employees said no to (IE-a gift card for the amount. I had receipt in hand and they had the order and proof of payment in their hand). I was frustrated at your business structure and accountability. Plain and simple. Take the constructive criticism. Word of mouth is powerful and if that is how you continue to run business, people will wise up and go else where. read more

A great bakery in Corona. I've gotten a smaller round birthday cake straight from their display (9" size), also some random desserts, including the delicious Turkish Delight candies, and I also ordered a birthday sheet cake ahead of time. Every time I've come here I get something yummy. Their strawberry cake is not too sweet and has just the right amount of moisture. They use a perfect amount of fruit and frosting, which is again, not too sweet, creamy, light and fresh. The sponge to me seems like a chiffon style cake. I will definitely be back to order and try more cakes and desserts from them. Prices are reasonable. The last cake we got (birthday sheet cake) was in the strawberry, but it also had bits of other fruit (maybe pineapple) and this made it more yummy. Came here because I wanted to try and new bakery and purchase a dessert for a birthday party. I went down a week and a half before the event and took a look at their wide selection of treats. Everything looked amazing and fresh. Before deciding on what to order we ordered a few items to taste and try. We selected a carrot cake bar and a slice of red velvet. The red velvet was not too amazingly sweet and melted in your mouth. The carrot cake bar was okay, but for the rather small size of it the frosting was to much and was over bearing the cake portion of it (ratio of cake to frosting was off.) Seeing as my wife's favorite cake is carrot cake, I figured I'd ask if I could order a carrot cake birthday cake and they said no. That was a bit of a bummer because how can you make carrot cake cup cakes and bars but not an actual cake? (Doesn't make sense.) So, I moved onto plan B and saw a beautiful large fruit tart topped with all the berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) and mango. The fruit on top was abundant and beautiful and it was the mango for me that made it look absolutely beautiful and tasty. I placed an order for pick up and I made sure I wanted it to look just like the one in the display case. On the day of the event I arranged for it to be picked up. By the time they got there it was wrapped, tied in a box and ready to go. Here is where I messed up, I really wish I would have had the person who picked it up to take a picture and send it to me because when it came time to opening the box up at the party I was beyond disappointed as it looked NOTHING like what was in the display case. I was pissed! Fruit was scarcely scattered on top, there was no mango (which is predominantly why I went with the tart) and taste was unfortunately non existent. Lucky I had also ordered a cake from nothing Bundt cakes that I picked up the day before and it ended up being more satisfying. read more
