Was here earlier and had such a great experience. Once you walk in, you are greeted right away and offered suggestions if needed. I didn't need any, but I'm sure that all the employees know all the desserts and are happy to help. I came in on a Wednesday around 2. They have a very wide selection. Some things were sold out but there was still so many options to choose from. I ordered a creme brûlée cheese bar, Manhattan cheesecake, and the creme brûlée. Now I hate to rave about the creme brûlée because I don't want it to be sold out next time I come in, but it was so delicious! Perfectly creamy and not too sweet. One of the bests I've ever had. The cheesecake and cheese bar were great too, but the creme brûlée will always be my fave. I highly recommend this place. There's just so many options to choose from. I'm sure there is something for everyone. Plus the service is so friendly. I can't wait to be back! read more

Drove here from Lake Elsinore after reading great reviews. Got the chocolate cake although almost went with the tiramisu. The chocolate cake was MOIST AND RICH absolute perfection. The best cake we've had to this day. Good Cakes are hard to find because they're usually bland or dry. Then there's the beautiful ones but expensive and not worth the price because the flavor is just not there. Well this one was affordable and exceeded our expectations. Definitely trust them with a cake. Recommended ! read more

Their pastries are reasonably priced, but I would suggest that you DO NOT get the Dubai chocolate bar. WAY overpriced ($14) for the size and quality. For those curious, it tasted and had the consistency of mashed frosted mini wheat cereal mixed with some sort of pistachio cream, but I couldn't identify a strong pistachio flavor. read more

If i could give zero star i would. First time In the shop and just wanted to order coffee. Waited at the counter for a few minutes. Lady started serving the other people who were buying bakery item. I don't mind if they were there first but I wasn't even said hello or excuse me or no greetings at all. She served 3 other people who came behind me and straight out ignored me. I am very polite and generous when it comes down to greeting people i just stepped back. But zero acknowledgment on my even presence in the shop was very upsetting. Both the ladies were very cheerful and nice to all the other women but just had a special ignorant attitude towards me. Idk why i was ignored like that without any direction. I love this place. I usually get their lemon bars and a couple of their cookies. I tried to save half of my lemon bar for later but ended up finishing it with in 2 mins. Normally I never have any issues so that is why I am still giving them 4 stars but unfortunately this time their cookies were way different. The jam was really plastic like and the cookies were too crumbly . Please Choco Bakery check your current stock (I was there yesterday). I got the strawberry and Dolce and they were both like that. I asked the cashier Anna if the cake I ordered was baked fresh today. She said yes. She sold me a frozen cake and lied to my face. When I told her that the cake was frozen and asked why she lied, she asked if I was a baker as if that made a difference in why she lied to me. I asked her why she lied and then she walked away from me. Just left me completely standing there with an unresolved issue. The other girl was nice enough to help me resolve the issue. It's sad that you would ruin a new customer's experience by lying and having unprofessional service as I wont be coming back here. read more

Stopped by for the first time today. I got the carrot cake bar, pecan bar, apricot bar and a small fruit tart. I gave away the fruit tart to a friend, so I'll try that one next time. The bars were all really good but the pecan bar??!! OMG the best I've ever had usually they are too too sweet but this one was just right, the balance of the sweetness makes it delish!! My family bought from this bakery a lot. My mother used to frequently stop in and buy goodies to take in to her work. We used to LOVE this bakery until they charged my grandma twice for the same $20+ order. She called the next day and spoke to the same lady that overcharged her. Not sure how or why she charged my grandma for two different amounts, but she did. She said she would talk to the owner about it. After no refund was issued, my grandma wrote a letter enclosing copies of both receipts charged within one minute of each other. Still no refund and that was weeks ago. Time to find a new bakery. My family (and anyone else I can let know about this shady way of doing business) will no longer support the owners of Choco. read more

Went here today wanting to try something new in terms of dessert. Based off my Yelp search, this seemed to be the best in my area. I walked in and everything looked amazing! It was hard to choose just what to get, but the prices put me back down to earth. Macarons are $1.50/each and the gluten-free ones are $2.50/each. I thought there would be a bug 12 for $6 deal, but nope. Moving on from those, I chose a small cannoli for $2.50/each and a whoopie pie for $1.50/each and the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake for $5. Since I was on the hunt for my husbands birthday confection I also chose the vanilla/chocolate/custard/ganache delicious looking round cake. And boy was it tasty. I was worried it would be too sweet for my husband, but he loved it. Everything was delicious and really authentic homemade confections. Would recommend for sure, but bring your wallet. read more

I hate to leave a bad review anywhere but the unprofessional way my family and I were treated here is actually sad. We chose to order a birthday cake for my cousin from Choco Bakery because they did my graduation cake and we loved it! So we came back for a 40'th birthday cake and let them chose how to decorate the 40. We paid $150 which was pretty steep, but we like there work so we put a down payment and paid when it's done. We went to pick up the cake right before the party (which was in Orange County). We got there and they already had the lid on the cake and to show us the cake they barely lifted up the corner to show that it was all there. We paid and we drove all the way to the party. When we got to the party, we opened up the cake and to our embarrassment it said 50!! OMG we were horrified and my cousin was so upset she did not talk to us the whole party. We called to tell the bakery what happened and they told us that they gave the 40 to another party and that we should come back and switch with them. We denied of course! We where all the way in OC and if we drove back to corona we weren't going to to back to the party. And we also didn't know what happened to the cake while it was in the other persons possession and vice versa. We wanted a refund because the cake basically ruined the party and it was NOT what we asked for: it said 50 and it was the wrong flavor. They only offered us a $50 refund which is not fair for how expensive the cake is and we did not get what we paid for. One of the employees said that the owner would get in touch with us to follow up on our complains but it's been a month and a few weeks and we haven't gotten in touch with her. We keep calling but she's never at the bakery. This whole situation is super unprofessional and uneasy and we hope to come to a solution soon read more

I ordered a #50 cake for my daughter's 50th birthday a week in advance. Imagine my surprise when I arrived to pick up my #50 cake only to discover a sheet cake. I was shocked, disappointed and furious, to say the least. Now, in fairness to the bakery, they did remake the cake in time for the birthday party, which is the reason for 2 stars. New businesses rely on stellar customer service in order to survive and prevail. Needless to say, this business is off to a rough start. read more

Wanted to check this bakery out. Our go to is Porto's. Wasn't really impressed. It's also on the pricy ends. Creme Brûlée is okay but you'd think they'll topped with a layered of hardened caramelized sugar but they didn't. Also got the Dulce de leche Napoleon & fruit tart. Probably won't be going back. I really liked how much variety Choco Bakery has to offer, I was there looking at all their treats trying to narrow down what I should get because they all looked so good! I ended up asking for a slice of tiramisu, two chocolate covered strawberries, pumpkin cheesecake, creme brulee, and a berry & cream pastry. (And this is just a small portion of all that they offer!) All of that only cost me about $13- I was pleasantly shocked when they rung me up at the counter. The verdict? Dad-approved! 02.01.2019 Stopped by here before picking up some sushi next door. It was hard to choose just a few from everything they had available. So I guess I'll have to come back another time. Today I chose a small Key Lime Tart, a slice of Tiramisu and a huge slice of the Mocha Roulette. The Key Lime Tart was not as tart as I'd like it to be. The crust was not flaky but more like a shortbread. The tiramisu was good. I didn't taste much coffee or rum flavor. But it wasn't too sweet either. The Mocha Roulette has great mocha flavor and was a great serving size for the price. I believe the tiramisu and the Mocha Roulette might have been the same price. I will definitely come back so I could try the other desserts I didn't pick out this time like the coffee cake, fruit tart, cookies and chocolate croissants. read more
