This gluten free Nantucket sandwich is perfection. The lavender latte too. Who knew that lavender and cranberries go so well together!

Delicious medium size latte with house roasted beans for less than $5.00. Pinch me! This is a wonderful coffee spot. Plenty of indoor and outdoor. Super friendly staff. Ample parking. Please come and create your own adventure.

This was my first time here. I saw all the great reviews and decided to try out a new coffee spot! I had a vanilla iced latte with almond milk. It was good! Not too sweet! I would probably get another shot of espresso as it tasted very light. The owners were so friendly and welcoming. It definitely made my morning! The place could use some TLC. But other than that it was great! I look forward to trying their food next time!

I met a good friend here for brunch. The weather was beautiful so we ate in the patio. Service was great and attentive, food was delicious. They have a variety of pastries and some bagels. Their cafe menu has a lot of yummy looking items. Enjoyed a quiche that had jalapeño peppers in it. Just the right amount of spice and seasonings. It came with a green salad which was tasty. The blueberry muffin was moist. I dipped it in the foam in my vanilla hazelnut latte, which was delicious as well! I will definitely be back to try other pastries and items on their menu.

More photos! Breakfast wrap/burrito was $12.95 and layered very nicely. Service is great and lots of fun gatherings happening inside the cafe!

I was delighted to walk into this coffee shop and not see a single laptop! The interior has maybe a dozen wooden tables and about the same number of tables are outside. I came on a weekday morning and the customers were primarily seniors. I ordered a tall, hot peppermint mocha and chose a chocolate croissant from the multiple selections in the pastry case. The pastries are individually wrapped in clear plastic, something I've only seen in Asian pastry shops (I guess for sanitary reasons and also to keep them fresh longer). Aside from pastries they also serve a variety of breakfasts and sandwiches. Not seeing an order pickup spot I sat inside at one of the tables and figured they'd call my name. But instead, one of the spunky, cheerful women who work behind the counter brought my order to my table (which seemed to be the standard procedure). I appreciated the food is presented on real plates with actual silverware. My mocha was excellent. The peppermint flavor was light but instead of the taste of coffee in my mouth after each sip, I was feeling fresh and minty. The croissant, which I had requested to be warmed up (and was served at a perfect warmed temperature), was meager in chocolate filling but was crisp and fresh. I'm not sure if they are baked in-house or come from an outside source. This is definitely a great place to come for your coffee or to have a simple breakfast or lunch.

We were in the area and we're hungry. We found this place on yelp and I guess it's been here quite a while! We arrived at 11 AM on a Saturday. The parking was easy. There was a nice flow of people but too busy. We were warmly greeted, and I order was taken pretty quickly. He ordered the California breakfast sandwich, the coffee cake, and a drip coffee. Everything came out fast and hot. The sandwich was delicious! The coffee cake and the drip coffee were pretty good. Next time we are in the area, we will check it out again. We will try the chocolate chip coffee cake.

most underrated spot in OC ? could be !!! noah and i stumbled across this spot while visiting my dog and we were shocked ... the sandwiches: $10-12 and GIANT * quality and i personally LOVED the southwestern chicken sandwich with rye bread * noah got the blt i think? can't remember but he was so impressed the lattes: * both pumpkin lattes and great affordable prices for yummy hot and cold drinks, will be back to try pistachio ! we had a sweet date here and did a mini Bible study while enjoying good company with good food and drinks! definitely a good memory and the service was very kind and genuine and we felt so welcomed and cared for ! we both plan to drive out all the way just for this one spot ! it's a special one and hope people come taste and see for themselves :)

I had the best looking sandwich at the picnic…read more I visited Kona Loa Coffee last weekend while on the way to my monthly book club picnic. Nothing screams picnic quite like an iced latte and panini pairing. I ordered the chicken pesto panini, apple chai kombucha, and a mushroom iced latte. This latte did loads for my social meter. Giving me the extra pep to talk all things books. The sandwich was stacked with thick pieces of avocado, jalapeños, and sliced chicken. A very filling meal that definitely caught everyone's eye. Would love to return and explore more of their food menu.

There's also some seating outside as well. We love Portuguese sausage and was glad they had that as a protein option. Staff was very helpful when we asked for suggestions. We ordered the Kim chee burrito with Portuguese sausage and a breakfast burrito with Portuguese sausage. We also got the Island coffee (coconut flavored) and Spanish coffee (condensed milk and cinnamon). Both drinks were amazing. We also really liked the Kim chee burrito. One bite and my husband and I wish we ordered 2. It went so well with the sour cream. The service was very fast as well. This is a must try if you are in the area! Wish I had pictures but we enjoyed it so much it was gone.

I am and have been a BIG fan of Jamba Juice, particularly the Caribbean passion (with a…read moremultivitamin booster) but there are SO many different types of smoothies to get (google their hidden menu). I should note that the quality of the smoothie totally depends on who is making it because some employees make them with the perfect texture while others can make em too watery or they don't make it with the right proportions. The more you customize it the harder time some employees seem to have making it right unless you tell them EXACTLY how to make it. I will say they all are usually super friendly and give the place a warm vibe and more often than not my order is made properly/correctly. Also if you download the app there's usually a first time discount (ie $2 off your order) and you can get points for each order moving forward. Lastly just fyi: this location now also accepts EBT

I'd heard of the "Gen Z stare" but today was the first time I'd actually experienced it…read more I walked in and there weren't any customers. Not one employee said hello, "We'll be right with you," or even acknowledged that I was standing there. After a couple minutes one of them walked up to the register and just stared at me. I finally asked, "Are you ready to take my order?" She just kept staring. So I started telling her my order. The entire time neither employee smiled or said much of anything. Then I paid with a gift card and wasn't sure if I was supposed to swipe it or tap it on the Square reader. Instead of simply telling me, the girl rolled her eyes, grabbed the card out of my hand, and did it herself. Maybe it's a generational thing, maybe it isn't. Either way, customer service still matters. Greeting customers, communicating, and showing even a little friendliness shouldn't be too much to ask. This location could really use some customer service training.
