I am and have been a BIG fan of Jamba Juice, particularly the Caribbean passion (with a multivitamin booster) but there are SO many different types of smoothies to get (google their hidden menu). I should note that the quality of the smoothie totally depends on who is making it because some employees make them with the perfect texture while others can make em too watery or they don't make it with the right proportions. The more you customize it the harder time some employees seem to have making it right unless you tell them EXACTLY how to make it. I will say they all are usually super friendly and give the place a warm vibe and more often than not my order is made properly/correctly. Also if you download the app there's usually a first time discount (ie $2 off your order) and you can get points for each order moving forward. I'd heard of the "Gen Z stare" but today was the first time I'd actually experienced it. I walked in and there weren't any customers. Not one employee said hello, "We'll be right with you," or even acknowledged that I was standing there. After a couple minutes one of them walked up to the register and just stared at me. I finally asked, "Are you ready to take my order?" She just kept staring. So I started telling her my order. The entire time neither employee smiled or said much of anything. Then I paid with a gift card and wasn't sure if I was supposed to swipe it or tap it on the Square reader. Instead of simply telling me, the girl rolled her eyes, grabbed the card out of my hand, and did it herself. Maybe it's a generational thing, maybe it isn't. Either way, customer service still matters. Greeting customers, communicating, and showing even a little friendliness shouldn't be too much to ask. Jamba Juice is somewhat welcoming, but the greeting can definitely be delayed if they're busy. There have been several times where I've walked in and it took a minute or two before anyone acknowledged me. On the upside, I really appreciate that they include a free boost and make substitutions without overcharging or upcharging--something not every juice bar does. The smoothies themselves are good, but if you try to make them "less sweet and more nutrient dense," just know the flavor will probably take a hit. Mine always ended up a little bland, but that's on me for tweaking the recipe. The Strawberry Surf Rider was my go‑to growing up, and now I usually order a green smoothie without juice or sorbet plus protein. There's ample seating both inside and outside, and the location is convenient--there are plenty of places to walk around inside The Orchard strip mall or even across the street if you want to sip your smoothie while browsing. Was in the area driving by and saw a sign that it was national smoothie day. Small strawberry and mango smoothies were one dollar from 3 to 6. I was able to try both. I enjoyed mango a lot more. The strawberry ones seem to also have banana mixed in with it so it wasn't just a straight strawberry flavor and the flavor was also kind of tart. Surprisingly mango was more sweet, which I wanted. I took my wife to Jamba Juice because she'd been feeling ill and wanted a smoothie with ginger. The app wasn't working and it said that the store was closed. We called and the girl said we was the 3rd person to call and say that. My wife mentioned getting a Cranberry coco whip smoothie that was available during the Holidays (it's her favorite one). My wife asked the guy assisting her for a recommendation but she really wanted something with ginger. My wife asked for a recommendation and he recommended the "Mega Mango" as he said it has a similar tartness to the cranberry smoothie. She mentioned wanting to add ginger to it, as she was told making modifications to the ginger green would cost more (she didn't want kale). So, she agreed on making the mango smoothie. The associate made her smoothie and she was on her way. She said the customer service was great and he was super helpful, so props to him. Yet, she didn't like the smoothie due to its lack of sweetness and there wasn't any ginger added to the smoothie. In all she was thankful for it and did not want to hassle him to make another, but sad due to its taste. We like this location, so hopefully the smoothie tastes better the next time we visit. Staff: Quite disappointed in deed. When we walked in we were looked at by Jazmine and another girl but not greeted in any way. Then when my first drink was ready no name was called by Jazmine, she just placed it on the counter, and I recognized the drink and confirmed it was mine. When my second drink was ready, Jazmine merely placed it on the counter and walked away to help another customer. No name call or even a thank you. Completely unacceptable to not thank your customers. Oddly when actually interacting with her she was nice. Perhaps some quick training on greeting and thanking your customers would be a really good idea. Quality: We got the Strawberry Whiz and Razz a something. Both were tasty. Wow the young lady who was patient with me taking awhile to decide was sooo sweet. I normally don't rate average orders over 4 stars but because of her, she gets a . I got carribbean passion. Everytime I get it, it's too citrusy for me but I use it as a smoothie base to blend at home. I just get excited trying new flavors that I forget I've actually ordered before. I never noticed Jamba Juice is just called Jamba now. But this location has been there for a while and it has been a good consistent location even thru their rebranding. They still have their classic drinks which I loved as a kid like strawberry surf rider, and mango-a-gogo. I had tried the peanut butter mood with a whey protein add on just to give it an extra little boost after my work out. Everything came out nice and consistent as always. All three employees were just hanging out (without masks) and I couldn't tell if they were cleaning up or what especially because the lights were half off. I rarely come here but when I do it is usually on a coupon or promotion. That is what I did this time. This review is primarily motivated by the five star customer service I got from one employee (Jacob, I believe his name is) that was worth mentioning. First the location, it is in a beautiful area with a lot of traffic. The store itself is clean and a bit busy. I ordered an acai bowl then remembered it came with coconut and asked to have it left out. Jacob accommodated me with great classiness. On looks the acai bowl looks delicious. On taste, it looks better but the top half (where all the fruit is) is pretty good. Getting down on the bottom acai, over time, melts and gets easier to eat. It makes a nice base but I do not enjoy it without granola, fruit and granola best. Overall, the experience was worth it. I feel like Jamba juice is as familiar a brand in smoothies as Starbucks in for coffee. My recommendation is to sign up for their club and come on the specials when it is convenient. read more

The additional carrot that I had requested in my drink was not in there and my husband's large juice was not mixed correctly so that there was still chunks of fruit and vegetables in it, making it undrinkable.
