Lola's has such great food in a coffee house atmosphere. I just wish their service was better. Every time I go the wait for food takes forever. Today I waited 45 minutes for a to go order. I do understand lunch time can be cause for longer wait times, but for 1 sandwich? Ordering in house would have been faster! Perhaps more than 1 cook in the kitchen. Always busy during peak hours great for coffee, pastries and sandwiches. If you go plan extra time!

Lola's is a charming cafe and gem that is frequented by the locals of Ladera Ranch. The inside of the cafe is cozy and the workers are super friendly and inviting. Also, while it's on the pricier side, they use high quality fresh ingredients. Once you place your order up front you find an open seat (they have indoor and outdoor seating). Out of all their options I settled on their Turkey Club Sandwich which has turkey, gruyere, turkey bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and garlic aioli sandwiched between rustic artisan bread. It also came with a side of chips and their house pickles. I usually don't order sandwiches because they can be so hit or miss at cafes, but the sandwich here was definitely a hit. The textures and flavors were perfect and the garlic aioli brought everything together. Also tried a bite of their mixed berry flatbread which was delicious. Seems like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, I'm curious to try their other offerings.

The Quinoa Butternut Power Bowl with the lemon house dressing was fresh and perfectly tasty. The service and ambience were inviting. I will come back later for some more.

Love, love, love! Today was my first time enjoying Lola's Cafe and there's nothing negative to note. The cafe is so lovely. Great seating, painting on the walls and a welcoming atmosphere. They also have a great patio for outdoor dining too. The staff were all fabulous, from the cashier to the servers, everyone was upbeat and friendly! I enjoyed a refreshing Arnold Palmer with their new Veggie Club. Both were exceptional!! I'll be back soon to try some sweet treats for sure.

This breakfast burrito is tasty and the tortilla chips taste homemade.

What a quaint little shop. The turkey club had a Lotta Flavor. The service is great but I think it s the little Cafe feel that makes this place a local fav. The cookie was great. The soup was great.

We decided to try Lola's over the weekend. The cafe has a warm and cozy vibe. Love the decor and that they have inside/outside seating. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered the proprietor's vegan breakfast burrito, eggs and bacon that came with pancakes. Unfortunately the vegan burrito was a miss for me. I think it would definitely be better with some Just Egg and no grains. To add egg to the burrito was an additional $3.75 (With all of the add on options I feel it's a little pricey but to be fair everything is pricey these days). Not sure if they had vegan egg available, but next time I can clarify. I do give props to Lola's for having vegan options available, so thank you. :) My kids love turkey bacon and eggs. Would love for that to be available on the kids menu. We ordered from the regular menu and had them bring extra plates to split. Love that they have turkey bacon on their menu. My husband had the pancakes and loved them. Overall a good experience.

Visited right around noon to have lunch with a friend I haven't seen in awhile. Parking can be found in front of the restaurant or behind the shopping center strip. Service was disorganized and slow. The salad I wanted couldn't be made because they were supposedly out of strawberries and they could only offer to sub it with tomatoes. How pathetic. So I ended up getting the iced chai and kale and shaved Brussel sprouts salad with salmon add on. My friend got the Lola's salad. My drink tasted like bitter medicine perhaps due to the generous use of cinnamon. My salad had a lot of shredded Parmesan which was overpowering. The chickpeas in the salad wasn't crunchy or soft. Just stale and bitter. The salmon tasted like handsoap or hand sanitizer that got transferred to the fish. It tasted like chemical and had an acrid taste to it. The shop had indoors and outdoor seating. The outdoor seatings had ant infestations on the wall ledges and on the ground. I felt sorry for my dogs who suffered through the heat and ants crawling all over them. The store associate said they would bring us water bowl for dogs but it didn't happen until right before we left. All in all, I wouldn't mind returning in the future if in the vicinity or to catch up with my friend. But I wouldn't reorder the chai or the same salad. Perhaps I would have better luck with other sandwich options and drinks.

Lola's Cafe is a gem. Food I routinely order at a restaurant like a breakfast burrito or an arnold palmer has been completely reimagined here. They make actual lavender extract themselves, and the lavender arnold palmer I ordered was extraordinary. I plan vacation itineraries around restaurants I want to try and so I really mean it when I say this is a spectacular place. I met the owner and learned what a fan he is of music as there is cool memorabilia and art on the wall. He was very considerate and rushed two breakfast sandwiches for my son and his teammate who were in between games for their sports tournament up the road. I also bought a bag of coffee beans that are locally roasted for my husband to try. Highly recommend.

Went for a Saturday brunch around noon for two. You order at the counter and they have indoor and outdoor seating. Drink orders get called out and you pick them up and you get a number for food which they drop at the table. They have smaller tables and larger tables and although it was busy, we didn't have any problem with getting a table. The service is on the chill side and quite slow. The patio was incredibly dog friendly with multiple dogs showing up while we were eating. It's a fun quirky cafe and the decor matches the feel of the restaurant. We got a cold brew coffee and a iced ganache mocha. Cold brew was strong without being acidic. The ganache mocha wasn't particularly sweet. We got a breakfast burrito which tasted like a diet breakfast burrito. It was flavorful, but the turkey bacon and the lack of a fatty sauce or greasy potatoes makes it a much lighter breakfast burrito compared to most restaurants. We were warned when we ordered the French toast soufflé that it wasn't traditional French toast, but a baked soufflé. The dish came exactly as promised and was a sweet rich and pretty dense treat. The tomato soup and grilled cheese were both well done and paired perfectly.

We try to stop by every time my son plays at the Ladera sports facility. Everything we have had here was fresh and good. I would highly recommend the lemon bar! So good The coffee is always good here. My husband and I shared a breakfast burrito. It was small and just enough for us to eat pregame. They always seem pretty busy, I think we waited almost 15 minutes which was cutting close for us. The place is cute, clean with lots of seating inside and outside.

Lola's is a little low key spot that seems to get a lot of local love! The line was long, but there was a good amount of seating. They have a pretty good sized menu for breakfast and lunch, and even vegan options for those with dietary preferences. The lavender latte and the chai latte were both very fragrant and good. The chai latte was on the sweeter side, and the lavender was a bit softer on the sweetness in comparison. The breakfast burrito was the perfect size, and had some unique ingredients like sweet potato hash browns and some sort of aioli! The burrito came out scalding hot and surprisingly took forever to cool down (only real frustration), but otherwise the flavors were so good. I seriously don't know how they got that egg so hot! The egg inside was boiled, so that was definitely different compared to most other places that use scrambled eggs, but, oddly enough, I didn't hate the switch up. I'd definitely order this again. The breakfast pizza was real good too. It was essentially the breakfast burrito deconstructed on pizza. I can't wait to come back and try the pastries & french toast soufflé, these also looked incredible!

We don't get over to Ladera Ranch very often but this place looked good enough for us to pop over for a go. Service is great.... The food comes out fast and they do have table service where you order at the counter and they give you a table number.. then they bring your order to you. Food is great.. tried the avocado toast which I devoured... nicely seasoned and plenty to share. Will definitely come back for more... they have these ding dong looking treats at the register that we wish we had tried. Next time!

I went to Lola's right before an appointment I had in Ladera Ranch. I got the marscapone, smoked salmon, and red onions/caper bread meal, and thought it was okay. The vibe was nice and everyone seemed friendly. Would come back to try something else.

Being the foodie I am, of course I provided restaurant recommendations, so I advised our Queen that we should eat breakfast at the social media viral Breezy. I had Breezy on my Yelp Want To Go list and I'm glad my Pahtner greenlit my restaurant rec. Believe the hype folks, Breezy is a must eat spot because of their gastronomically delish grub, the cool and hip ambience, and spectacular customer service from the young Filipina. Order their adobo breakfast burrito, banana pancake, and the "Kali" latte. You're welcome!!! Breezy is located in San Capistrano, CA., approximately less than an hour drive from North County San Diego. The restaurant can be found within the Los Rios Historic District specifically on the corner of Camino Capistrano and Verdugo Street. It's one of the businesses within the Capistrano Plaza. If you want to be adventurous, take the Amtrak to the San Juan Capo stop and you can easily walk to the restaurant as well as other fun spots. We drove to Breezy and were able to park in a Public Parking lot behind the restaurant, which was only $4 for two hours. Breezy doesn't take reservations, so I recommend you do what we did and arrive when they open at 8am or close to to opening. It's a popular eatery and you'll have to wait if you visit during peak dining hours. There is a good amount of outdoor seating and plenty of indoor seating with round wooden and square tables and rattan seats. There's also bartop seating where you can watch their baristas make their specialty coffees. The owners did an amazing job with a beautiful interior decor with a focal point mural of lady with a Hawaiian flower in her hair, a green backdrop with neon "Keep It Breezy" accent lighting, pink glassware and centerpieces, and decorative light fixtures to add to the ambience. The young Filipina provided quality customer service, was friendly, and had the welcoming Aloha spirit. Please keep in mind that Breezy is a popular Filipino and Hawaiian fusion restaurant as I've seen the restaurant reviewed by Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram foodies, which is how I was introduced to this spot. Be prepared to wait if you come after opening or during peak dining hours. I can assure you that if you do end up waiting for a table, it is well worth the wait to feast on some amazing food. The hype is most definitely real. For my breakfast meal, I ordered the Adobo Breakfast Burrito, one Banana Pancake, a hot "Kali" Latte to wash it down, and I got to taste the birthday girl's Ube French Toast. The adobo breakfast burrito comes with shredded pork adobo, scrambled eggs, garlic rice, cotija cheese, avocado, sour cream, salsa verde, and cilantro. The burrito is one of their popular items and from my first bite to my last, I wholeheartedly concur. Everything about that burrito was fresh from the tortilla to all of its components. The taste of the vinegar that I'm accustomed to from classic adobo is evident, this entree is packed with deliciousness, it's creamy, and it was so satisfying. You can order a single pancake instead of the stack, so I'm glad I got to experience their banana pancake, which is generously topped with butter, comes with fresh bananas, it's served with a side of whipped cream, and topped with macadamia nuts. The taste of banana is readily apparent, it's a large pancake, and combined with the syrup, I savored every morsel. Mimick my order and I know you won't be disappointed. I really enjoyed the taste of the Kali latte, which comes with coconut cream, condensed milk, macadamia milk, and topped with toasted coconut. My wife couldn't finish her ube french toast, so I got to eat her leftover and this also is a popular item, which from that first bite, I can understand why. Despite me eating after some time from when my wife got it, the french toast was still crunchy, the caramelized bananas, ube whipped cream, toasted coconut flakes, coconut crema, and mixed berries were all divine and yummy. I'm not an ube fan, but I am a fan of Breezy's ube french toast. Thanks and Praise God for allowing my Life Pahtner to celebrate another year on this world. Dining at Breezy's made for a great time of amazing food, memorable drinks, and stellar customer service to celebrate the Queen we love.

It's a shame that it's only open from 8am-2pm aka prime brunch hours lol. Parking can be difficult, but there's a parking structure nearby if you want to skip the hassle of finding a free parking spot. Anyways, the food was absolutely delicious and worth the trek out to the southern part of OC (coming from north OC). What we got: - Honey basil ribeye bowl - wow I dream of this sometimes. They balanced the sweet and savory flavor so well, and the little side "salad" with the tomatoes and pickled onions offered a nice tangy kick. Such a delicious bowl that has many of the flavor profiles I love. Don't get me started on the garlic rice! - Longanisa breakfast bowl - the longanisa was cooked well and had a good savory sweet flavor, but was a bit more on the fatty side. It had the same sides and garlic rice as the honey basil ribeye bowl, which I already raved about so nothing to add there. I'm so excited that they have a smaller spot at Rodeo 39 in Stanton called Lil Breezy! Much closer to home and definitely a place that we would like to try soon.
